I needed a new laptop and wasn't sure what to get since it had been years since my last one. I started making a list of must-haves, and the Zenbook totally fit the bill. It feels super well-built and is really portable. The touchscreen and OLED display are awesome. It has great battery life, even when I'm watching videos or streaming for hours. The keyboard layout is really nice, and it has several ports on the side for your USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI. I've really enjoyed using this new laptop because it seems like I find out something new every time. It's loaded with all sorts of new features, including Copilot+, which is super helpful for a ton of things in your productive life.

I bought this computer to handle both my business operations and personal use, and it goes above and beyond. It is incredibly fast, and the battery life is excellent. My absolute favorite feature is the facial recognition—it keeps everything secure and lets me log in instantly without typing passwords for the device or my apps. Highly recommend!

This ASUS Zenbook fourteen inch deliver great specs for its price point that can deliver on all but the most demanding task. I personally think the fourteen inch size laptop is the perfect size for a laptop that you want to take on the go especially when it’s as thin as this one. The only port I wish it had would be a micro sd card, though an adapter can easily remedy this. The ports you do get are two USB-C ports one 3.2 and one 4.0, one USB-A and all can be used to charge , one HDMI port and a headphone jack. In terms of performance you get the AMD Ryzen AI 9 so with CPU performance it’s got plenty of power. This will be helpful when doing more demanding task for work or when you want to multitask and play a little while working! You get 16gb of RAM and although it can’t be upgraded I think for the target audience this laptop is aimed for, that will be more than ample. You get a basic integrated GPU so you won’t be able to do any hardcore gaming or video editing but I figure anyone needing that will be looking for something geared more for that. The real star in my opinion besides the CPU is the beautiful 2k OLED with its almost bezel less design. It delivers bright and vibrant pictures and video. ASUS didn’t skip on the battery either, even when turning the settings to best performance while on battery, I was very impressed with the battery life while watching videos. I’d say the only features I wish it had would be the option for the laptop to turn on when you flip the lid and a finger print sensor but at this price I understand why it doesn’t. I do like that it does have a physical privacy filter for the webcam, that is orange when it’s off, so you know it’s off. Overall, this ASUS Zenbook gives you powerful specs in a thin and lightweight body.

Asus did the impossible, it made a light windows laptop with a great screen and all day battery. The look and feel of the ZenBook is excellent, the ZenBook branding on the back looks classy and the Jasper Grey has an excellent anti smudge coating. Theres no sharp corners and the palm rest area is perfect length. The screen is the star of the show; it’s one of the best OLED panels I have seen. 500 nits brightness the contrast is excellent so you can use it anywhere. The screen is perfect for video and photo editing with 100% DCI P3 color. The hinges are tight so when you use the touch screen it doesn’t wobble. The only downfall of the screen is it’s a 60 htz panel. When it comes to performance, the ZenBook is an absolute champ. This ultra-light 14 inch handles most task without issues. No matter how many tabs/programs everything is smooth and responsive. The laptop is copilot branded so you do get 50 tops NPU so you can use AI tools, storybook is great example of this. It’s a preloaded app that helps clean-up your photos and it categorizes pictures and allows you to search them with AI. The ram unitlization for the ZenBook is different than other windows machines. Under normal workloads my RAM use was at 9 GB, other 16 GB laptops usually run at 12. Its great for casual gaming, frame rates (40-45) without upscaling. When you get into AAA games though your out of luck, the iGPU just isn’t strong enough. I was able to do basic photo/video edits no problem, but it is not for someone that does edits as a profession. The MyAsus app has gotten better, previously it was slow and never worked. Its feature loaded and you can adjust to your hearts content. Some of the best features are smart gestures for the trackpad to increase sound and brightness, its finally fixed. I also enjoyed target mode, which brightens the area/program being used. I use both features religiously, but I did notice that storybook and target mode will freeze the computer so an update is needed. Where Asus could have done better is the sound and WiFi card. Now don’t get me wrong, the ZenBook audio is excellent on a solid surface, but if you have it on your lap or using it in bed it’s a different story. This is because the speakers get covered which degrades the sound. As for WiFi the MediaTek card had a few disconnects and the speeds were never consistent, I’m hoping a update can fix this issue. The ZenBook is so close to being a perfect thin and light windows laptop, its portable and easily get me through the day no matter how much I use it. If I’m just casually using it I’m able to go for multiple days without a charge. It never got scorching hot and the fans rarely got loud. This is a great laptop for 95% of people out there, unless you’re a professional creator or gamer. Additions I would like to see -More RAM -Better WiFi card

I'm extremely happy with this laptop! It was quick to set up, and the performance has been outstanding from day one. Everything feels fast and responsive, even when running multiple programs at the same time. The 2K OLED touchscreen is gorgeous with bright colors and sharp details. The laptop feels premium, is lightweight, and is easy to carry wherever I go. One of the best things about this laptop is how smoothly it handles engineering software and 3D modeling. It has performed exceptionally well for my work, making complex tasks feel fast and effortless. Overall, this laptop offers outstanding value for the price. Based on my experience, I highly recommend it for students and professionals in structural engineering, transportation engineering, and water resources engineering who need a reliable, powerful laptop for design, modeling, and everyday work. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy it again!

I was excited to get my hands on the Asus Zenbook 14 2K OLED touchscreen laptop. The busier my life gets the smaller my laptop has become. This particular model comes with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor, 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. Here's a breakdown of my experience over the last several days. So far, I've had an exceptional experience with this laptop. What stands out to me is the portability, the cooling, the power, and the OLED display. - Design/Build/Unboxing - The unboxing experience is pretty straightforward. It's packaged well with minimalistic eco-friendly materials. There's a few standard user guides/warranty/docs and a compact wall charger. It easily reaches down the wall from my desk to the outlet. The Zenbook comes in a Jasper Gray and has a matte finish that repels most fingerprints and smudges. There's an elegant Zenbook logo centered subtly on the metal chassis. It feels premium and durable in your hands. It meets military standards for durability. It weighs just under 3 pounds and measures about .6" thick, making it easy to carry and fits almost any backpack or carrying case. The port layout is as follows: There's a USB-A 5Gbps port on the left that's great if you're using a wired mouse. On the right side there are two high-speed USB-C ports rated at 40Gbps, along with a full size HDMI 2.1 port and a standard 3.5mm combo mic/headphone jack. When you plug the laptop in, it will occupy one of these USB-C ports and illuminate the indicator light. There is no SD card reader. - Specs & Features - There's an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM (it's fast), 512 GB SSD Storage, a 14" 2K OLED Touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There's an NPU, a 50 TOPS NPU that helps boost AI and a dedicated copilot key. The webcam is 1080p IR with a physical privacy shutter. Windows Hello works well with the webcam which makes it easy to login or enter passwords. The OLED display is vibrant with great contrast making the true blacks. The panel has a slightly glossy finish that can catch a little bit of glare if you have a bright window or over intense overhead lighting. The keyboard has white backlighting. There is a dedicated CoPilot AI button and a dedicated button for the MyAsus app. The MyAsus app is an excellent app for system diagnostics and smart settings (like setting the max battery level or AI noise cancelling.) - Performance - As my daily driver which includes productivity tasks such as coding AI programs, working with databases, creative design, and photo editing this laptop breezes right through. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor coupled with 16GB of RAM handles everything I throw at. I often have 10 to 15 tabs open in my web browser and several apps open at the same time. The dedicated NPU helps with AI tasks such as generating quick summaries of video conferences, blurring the background on video calls, running live captions, photo and video editing or generation, and search and organization like Recall or Asus Storycube. It helps take a load off the CPU/GPU and preserves battery. The AMD Radeon 880m handles the graphics and visuals. It can handle most games outside of the really graphic intensive AAA titles. It's impressive for integrated graphics. Thermal performance is solid. There are vents on the left side of the laptop that blows warm air out. During normal activities such as web browsing or basic tasks, you won't hear the fans. The fans typically turn on when you're playing games, or editing photos/videos. The CPU sits right under 40C which is really impressive for an ultraportable. The battery is larger than I expected at 75Wh and combined with the CPU/NPU I can make it through the work day easily on a single charge. The battery life depends on screen brightness and the apps you're running, but under normal conditions it will last all day. The glossy display actually makes the colors pop really nice on movies and video. At 500 nits, the screen is plenty bright for outdoors, and the 100% DCI-P3 is excellent for creative work. The touchscreen is responsive and convenient when I need something quick and interactive. Audio is enhanced with Dolby Atmos. There's even a Dolby app included where you can setup sound. I ran benchmarks to get an idea of the power and here are the results: GeekBench 7 - CPU Single-Core: 2561, CPU Multi-Core 13973, GPU: 27734 3DMark NightRaid (For Lightweight Systems) - 30619 3DMark Steel Nomad Light (For Integrated Graphics) - 2491 - Pros/Cons - *Pros* * Beautiful OLED screen * Battery lasts all day * Keyboard is comfortable and responsive * Windows Hello security and privacy shutter * Fast CPU, Strong Integrated Graphics, and NPU helps with AI *Cons* * No SD card reader * Soldered RAM * 60Hz refresh rate The Asus Zenbook 14 is an exceptional ultraportable laptop for those that want a beautiful OLED screen, long battery life, and the ability to take it anywhere with them. It's quiet, cool, and has enough speed and power for most tasks. I'm blown away by the amount of power they packed into such a small chassis, and they've managed to keep it cool and quiet. I'm also a huge fan of OLED screens. I love the true blacks and find myself looking for the latest movies/series at the end of the night just to see how they will look on the OLED display. If you're looking for an impressive ultraportable, I would definitely give Asus Zenbook a look, I highly recommend it.

This laptop seems to have it all for office, campus, or home use. Its portability is wonderful, as it only weighs 2.82 lbs. and is only 0.62” thick. The features on this laptop are excellent. Everything you need for productivity, portability, and versatility. To start, it has a 512 GB SSD and 16 GB of memory. The 2K OLED 14” screen not only provides excellent picture motion, clarity, and true color; it is designed to minimize eye strain which it does. The OLED display provides sharper pictures than just HD displays. It is also designed with 2K resolution, so it can easily balance creative drawing software with light gaming without stressing the GPU as much as a 4K display would. With 2K OLED, you get the sharp color contrast and visual attributes of a more powerful display without the processing strain and slowdowns a 4K display can bring. This is ASUS’ Zenbook with AI. It is built on an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor and features integrated AMD Radeon graphics. Together, they work well for light creative drawing, gaming, video and photo editing, and producing any document you need. Not only does this laptop have a wonderful touchscreen with a coating to help minimize fingerprints, but it also has a backlite keyboard, which is great for working late when the lighting is low or on a flight. It is equipped with an AI-sensing camera with a privacy shutoff. The 1080p Full HD IR webcam is of excellent quality and supports facial recognition for password and device security. To make this laptop an even greater bargain, it also has Dolby-tuned Super Linear Speakers with a Smart Amplifier and AU Audio Booster. Together, these components let you completely customize your sound. The operating system is Windows AI. Windows Copilot + PC uses artificial intelligence to boost productivity in many ways. It is cloud-based, can easily summarize emails, documents, and internet search results, and can generate basic image drawings. You can also chat with Copilot through voice, text, or images. Windows Copilot + PC also has a few additional features you can use without an internet connection. Not only is this equipped with fast charging, but it can hold a charge all day. It has 5 ports, giving you everything you need to do your work or even give presentations. The five ports are an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5 mm jack, two USB ports, and a 40 Gbps USB Type-C port. This is a premium laptop with a great price point. It was super easy to set up and customize, and it is extremely comfortable to type on, take on the go, and use. The portability, as mentioned earlier, is definitely a plus, but the added camera, speakers, and long battery life make it a super buy. It is strong enough for any task and dependable enough to be reliable. With care, it should easily last a few years.

The Asus Zenbook 14 is a great laptop, offering lightweight mobility and the necessary components for everyday office and school usage. The Zenbook 14 has a 14" OLED touchscreen with 2K clarity. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor easily keeps pace with the various tasks I have been doing for home, office, school, and creative content. The Zenbook 14 has 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD for storage. The 75Wh battery lasts me pretty close to all day long with multiple rounds of usage throughout the day. The light 2.82 lb laptop is easy to take with me on the go in the car, office, and the coffee shop. The display on this laptop is a nice touchscreen 2K resolution that has a 500 nit peak HDR brightness. Adequate enough for all my daily needs and it looks pretty good, as I find the 14" screen to be my preferred sweet spot. The laptop has Dolby Atmos capability with its linear speakers that offer crystal clear sound and the Asus audio booster and Smart Amplifier to dial in that personalized audio I prefer. The lightweight body of this laptop is also an anti fingerprint finish and I appreciate that because it always drives me crazy to see constant smudges when I pull out a laptop. Equipped with the HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm jack and 3 USB ports, this laptop is meant to handle things with ease. Windows 11 Home works effectively and efficiently on this Asus Zenbook 14. This machine is Windows Copilot+ and all of the Microsoft features are integrated into it making it easy to use and very user friendly. The laptop is very quick to boot and load up from opening the lid to being in the Windows home screen. The keyboard feels natural and looks very nice in low light setting with the illuminated background. The keyboard is also a quiet keyboard so it doesn't disturb others around me in quiet areas, and that's a big plus for me as I work a lot while watching TV with my family at night. The keyboard also offers the anti-fingerprint touchpad which I value because I always like my laptops to look clean and neat. I love using this laptop to create video content and take virtual calls because of the privacy protection camera shutter and the Asus AI camera that offers 1080p Windows Studio effects. This allows my image and video to be clear and precise, but also the AI noise cancellation helps to ensure I sound great when I'm speaking on camera. I accidentally dropped the laptop from my arm onto the carpeted floor and it didn't do any damage to it, so I'm thankful for the US Military Grade MIL STD 810H protection capabilities that Asus prepped this laptop with. In the box you get the Asus Zenbook 14, power cord, and power adapter. This laptop takes just a few minutes to get setup and ready to use right out of the box. Ideal for anyone that is looking for an everyday laptop that can be a workhorse to handle your daily tasks. Looks good, performs extremely well, quiet operation, and it has modern internals and components that will keep this future proofed for a few years. The AMD Ryder ai 9 chip keeps this computer power efficient and very fast and responsive.

Between work and home, the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED (AMD Ryzen AI 9 edition) has become my favorite everyday carry. It can handle all my productivity softwares, and with its travel-friendly size and its gorgeous OLED screen, it can also provide hours of relaxing entertainment. Writing this review from the Zenbook, I noticed how comfortable the full size back-lit keyboard is. The keys have a good quality feel to them. The touchpad is sensitive and accurate to the touch and wide. It supports multi-touch gestures that can improve efficiency. The Infrared webcam works well even in low light environments. As for port selection, the Zenbook offers one HDMI, one USB-A, one USB4 and one USB-C. The main attraction of this laptop is the OLED touchscreen. Even at 14 inches, it never ceases to impress me with its deep blacks and vibrant colors. The 16:10 aspect ratio helps especially during productivity tasks. Besides displaying great videos and pictures, it’s precise to the touch although I found it to be more reflective than expected in bright environments. For a compact laptop, the sound is no slouch either. Of course, it can’t compare to external high-end speakers or headphones but the included speakers deliver quality sound, even the Dolby Atmos effect can be felt. Another good surprise is the battery life. On workdays, it easily handles my 9 to 6 schedule without needing a charge. And the recharges are surprisingly quick. I own a previous iteration of this Zenbook and this one with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 edition chip geared toward AI's more demanding nature, it handles more demanding software more efficiently. With 16GB of RAM, I thought it would struggle with my photo editing softwares but it didn’t break a sweat. With the equipped 512GB SSD, some would wish for a bigger storage but I didn’t mind. With an all-aluminum chassis weighing under 3 pounds, the Asus Zenbook 14 OLED feels very premium to the touch and looks the part too. The great battery life, the gorgeous display and excellent performance makes it a true contender in the ultra-portable Windows laptop market. If you ask me, I would strongly recommend it.

I've been testing the ASUS Zenbook 14 (UM3405G) for the past week. The review unit I tested came equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD, and a stunning 2K OLED touchscreen display. Simply put, this laptop is the total package when it comes to thin-and-light devices. The ASUS Zenbook lineup has always been a favorite of mine, consistently delivering one of the most premium daily driver experiences on the market. This year's model offers a refined, cleaner exterior design alongside a full complement of ports: two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, full-size HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The chassis feels solid in hand, and the hinges do a fantastic job of eliminating screen wobble. You also get a backlit keyboard with three brightness levels, and under typical workloads, the cooling fans remain completely silent. In everyday performance, it boots in seconds, launches applications instantly, and the OLED display is vivid, bright, and razor-sharp. The keyboard is a joy to type on, the glass trackpad is smooth and precise, and the built-in speakers get impressively loud without losing clarity. The webcam is equally solid, delivering crisp visuals with accurate skin tones. Beyond standard tasks, it can even handle light-to-moderate gaming at medium settings on battery power—a remarkable feat for an ultraportable chassis. Battery life from the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 chip is exceptional. During regular daily productivity, it easily powered through a full workday. Even while gaming, I logged around four hours of playtime with plenty of juice left over for casual web browsing. Overall, the ASUS Zenbook 14 continues to set the standard for its class. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a feature-packed thin-and-light laptop that blends premium build quality with standout performance and endurance.

Although this laptop is on the pricier side, it's an investment that should easily last you at least five years while continuing to deliver excellent performance. The standout feature is undoubtedly the 14-inch 2K OLED touchscreen display. Whether you're using it in a dark room at night or in a brightly lit office during the day, the screen remains vibrant, crisp, and easy to see. The OLED panel produces deep blacks, rich colors, and outstanding contrast, making everything from web browsing and productivity to watching movies and editing photos look incredible. The touchscreen is also highly responsive and adds another level of convenience. The battery life is equally impressive. With a couple of hours of use each day—such as web browsing, streaming videos, taking notes, or working on documents—the battery can easily last around two and a half days before needing a recharge. That means you can leave your charger at home for short trips or busy workdays without worrying about running out of power. Another feature I really appreciate is the hinge, which offers a wide range of tilt angles. Whether you're typing at a desk, using the touchscreen, or simply adjusting the display for a more comfortable viewing angle, the laptop adapts easily to different positions. Combined with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a fast 512GB SSD, the ASUS Zenbook 14 delivers premium performance, exceptional battery life, and one of the best displays available in its class.
