I've been using the ASUS Zenbook A14 with the new Snapdragon X2 Elite CPU and Adreno GPU, and it feels like the laptop Windows on ARM was supposed to become. The 14-inch 2K OLED panel is the first thing you notice: sharp text, deep blacks, great contrast, and enough brightness (500 nits) for coffee shop work without washing out. The one drawback is the refresh rate is only 60 Hz. The chassis is light but doesn't feel flimsy, and the keyboard has a clean, premium snap that makes long typing sessions easy. The trackpad has a premium feel and is one of the very best I’ve used on the Windows side. Performance has been excellent for everyday productivity, browser-heavy work, streaming, photo edits, and multitasking across a pile of apps. The X2 Elite is quiet, fast, and impressively efficient; battery life is the best part if you travel or hate being tied to an outlet as this laptop boasts a whopping claimed 33 hours of battery life. In my everyday use I came very close to that stated ceiling, maxing out at 31.5 hours. 16GB of memory feels right for this class, though I wish ASUS offered 1TB storage as standard because 512GB fills up quickly. App compatibility is much better than older ARM laptops, but a few niche utilities still need checking before you buy. However, note that most AAA games will not run on an ARM CPU like the Snapdragon X2. I was able to install Call of Duty Black Ops 6 but could not get it to launch. Overall, this is a sleek, modern laptop with a gorgeous screen, strong battery life, and enough speed for users who value portability over gaming power.

if you type of person that enjoys, traveling a lot and enjoy having a laptop with you, I think the aces Zen book A4. It’s definitely a good recommendation for that type of people. Opening this laptop you can definitely tell it’s a premium laptop that could rival some competitors out there. This Asus Zen try to wrap him book is light easy to carry not only that it’s beautiful. PRODUCT Even the box itself it looks very minimalist. It’s a gray with a kind of silver font. That’s in the center, which says the Asus Zenbook. Inside the box you also will get your 9 USBC fast charging. unboxing the device itself. It feels very premium. It’s easy to lift the laptop itself. And apparently Asus uses Ceraliminum material (ceremic - aluminum blend) it feels soft when you touch it than just your regular aluminum, its also resistant to finger prints but I notice at the back side has higher chances when it comes to finger prints oil. Zenbook A14 only weight 2.40lb, the battery life has also been great to me considering no major gaming was use. I/O ports includes 1 hdmi 2.1, 2 USBC, 1 USBA port and 3.5’m headphone jack. its a 2k OLED with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 ans 60 hz. with 500 nits of brightness. EXPERIENCE. this laptop is equipped with snapdragon X2 elite, the boot time is very fast moving around the cursor feel smooth even web browsing feel smooth. I did try to run multiple windows to see if i’ll noticed any slow down but so far it seems like the laptop can handle the heat. When it comes to switching application from browsing the web to email, the laptop feels very fast and if you are traveling and you want to game on this laptop, I would not put any heavy hitting games. I would stick to with 2D games. when it comes to thermal and noises, I thought the laptop stays pretty cool and quiet most of the normal time I used it. And of course it’s OLED so the colors are popping, beautiful glossy screen, the build quality does not feels cheap, the keyboard is very consistent when pressed. one thing that I wish considering the price of this laptop is that it supports 120 Hz, it is a bit of a bummer knowing that this laptop is only 60 Hz. CONCLUSION So far from my experience, Asus Zenbook A14 it’s an impressive premium portable laptop. If you are Asus fan its worth checking out. its a strong recommendation for productivity people out there specifically the one who enjoys having laptops on the go. but prioritizing for gaming not so much. I hope Asus would update those laptop to support 120hz, I feel 60hz laptop its a bit behind at this point specially if youre charging for premium price it needs a bit more premium features to justify your full purchase. everything you need for an easy travel laptop is here, beautiful finishes and light to hold. bravo to asus for this beautiful piece of tech.

The ASUS Zenbook A14 is a stylish, capable lightweight laptop with a gorgeous OLED screen and many fine design appointments. ASUS did a lot to make this PC a joy to use, and it largely works. The key benefits of this laptop are its incredible battery life, ultra light weight, and display. Yes, it is not a touchscreen, but it looks amazing. The speakers and camera are also surprisingly good. The thoughtful touches start with the feel of the very lightly textured “Ceraluminum” coating on the back of the screen and the laptop deck, and the plastic material that makes up the bottom panel feels nearly as good. The screen opens flawlessly with one finger when the laptop is resting on a table or on your other palm, and closes just as easily. The track pad is rather huge and a joy to use, with smooth action and a satisfying click. The keyboard also feels quite spacious for a small laptop, which is of course accomplished by getting rid of extraneous keys like Home, End, PgUp and PgDn. However, the implementation of a workaround in this case is quite useful and easy to get used to, with a press on the “Fn” key and the arrows to perform those four functions, and Ctrl+Fn+Arrow to accomplish Ctrl+PgUp, etc. The laptop is extraordinarily lightweight at just 2.4 lbs and very easy to carry and use. The included power brick is also quite compact and easy to carry, and charges the laptop through either of the two left-side Thunderbolt ports in under an hour. The extended battery life is down to the ultra-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite, which performs everyday tasks with aplomb and barely requires the laptop’s two bottom fans to spin up at all to keep cool. The X2 Elite actually bests some of the top competing processors from AMD and Intel in single-thread performance, and does it all while giving you 20 hours of battery life in standard mode. And speaking of the fans, they are essentially inaudible in all but the most demanding tasks. While the 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ram is soldered to the board, the laptop has an easily replaceable NVME solid state drive and a nearly-as-easily-replaceable battery hidden behind just 10 M4 screws on the bottom. The A14 is, of course, not a gaming laptop, and the on-SOC GPU benchmarks somewhere around a GeForce GTX 1070 in standard mode and an RTX 3070 in performance mode, which is to say, 3 to 10 years behind the curve. That shouldn’t be a problem for the laptop’s intended audience, but it is something to be aware of. If you’d like a PC your kid can use to play Minecraft or Roblox when you’re not working or surfing the web, this might not make the grade. The bottom line is this: if you’re looking for a stylish Windows laptop that looks better and weighs less than a (smaller) Macbook Air and can compete with Apple on performance and battery life while coming in significantly less expensive, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

This ASUS Zenbook has so many bells and whistles! First of all, the finish on the case is amazing. When I first pulled it out of the box, I knew there was something unique about it. I looked into this material that ASUS patented called Ceraluminum. Which is a fusion of ceramic and aluminum. It makes the case strong but light, and also not cold to the touch, which is the norm for a regular aluminum case. The finish is matte but still smooth, so if you wanted to put vinyl stickers all over the top, you could without any problem. The color is called Zabriskie Beige, but to try and describe it, I would just say that it looks like a medium color of travertine. Which is stone, and is cold to the touch, but not this laptop. Another nice thing about the case is that the laptop is easy to open. I’ve had several laptops where it’s so difficult to do, like why don’t you make it easier for us to open the thing? Well, thank you ASUS. It’s super easy and there is a little lip so you know exactly which side is the front and which is the back. This laptop feels very light, and the specs say it’s 2.4 lbs. I weighed it on my food scale and I measured it to be 2.55 lbs., which I was shocked because it feels so light. This is a great laptop if you have to commute with it, take it to school, etc. The battery life is amazing as well. The cord is a bit bulky, but it comes with two Velcro straps to wrap it up and keep it tidy until you need it. The processor is Snapdragon X2 Elite, which is Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful flagship processor for Windows laptops and PCs. The backlit keyboard is great, I can’t really live without one anymore, so please don’t make any without it. The screen is not a touchscreen, but I can forgo that for the backlit keyboard. The camera (do we still call it a webcam?) works great, there’s no sliding cover though. I have an ASUS laptop with one, and I really like that feature. I didn’t talk too much about the general specs, because that’s all on the product page here. I highlighted what stood out to me. This laptop is great, I love how lightweight it is, it’s really fast, and I love how long the battery lasts.

Okay, out the box this thing is super light. I am still shocked every time I pick it up. Passes the one finger opening test which is kind of funny how many laptops in this category still can't do it consistently. Now when you first open it you will notice a neat little logo in the top right corner. You'd think it was the power button, nope (big swing and a miss there Asus). That 14 inch OLED screen is absolutely gorgeous. It could be a little brighter but I am being picky. I tent to take this on the deck with me to watch videos and light correspondence. Battery last longer than i thought it would. I won't speak on gaming with this one because it just can't handle triple A titles but my niece says it handles Fortnight just fine. She isn't a hard core gamer (yet). Now I am pretty sure my eyes still work pretty good and I had to adjust the color in Windows but you might not have to. It was a bit too warm for mew out the box. As long as you remember that x86/x64 apps are not native to this laptop you won't be disappointed. The buttons to turn off the camera and mic are a good thing. Windows hello works well with this laptop and the camera it has. Meetings won't be folks asking where did you get that potato from. I definitely recommend grabbing one of these if you are in the market for a lightweight, battery efficient laptop.

When I'm shopping for laptops, the important things that I look for are portability, versatility and performance for the price (value). This Zenbook from ASUS met my needs in all of those aspects. Pros: - Extremely lightweight and thin, making it perfect to slip into a backpack or shoulder bag on the go. - Beautiful screen that displays colors perfectly and has a fairly thin bezel. - The keyboard is comfortable to use and the keys respond well to presses. The touch pad works perfectly and I like how large it is. Many laptops have small touch pads that limit my maneuverability so I appreciate the extra space. - An HDMI port is included. Many newer models of laptops skip this option, but I love having the ability to physically connect to a larger display if needed. - 2 USB-C ports are included, as well as a standard USB-A port, providing me with more than enough options to keep my external devices connected/charging. - 16GB of RAM paired with a solid state drive keep apps loading quickly and running smoothly. You will not lack for memory with this machine. - The solid state drive (512GB) has plenty of space for most folks. But if you are a gamer, that space will fill up quickly so keep that in mind. Cons: - None Overall this is an excellent laptop that will get the job done for anyone looking for a mid to high end machine.

I am constantly amazed by the quality of smaller laptops like this 14-inch Zenbook. While its exterior isn’t aluminum, the performance definitely gives you a premium experience. It has an amazing OLED screen and a comfortable keyboard to type on. The speakers also provide a great listening experience. The volume level is impressive, and I found myself only needing to keep it around 14-16 for comfortable listening. The setup is standard for a Windows laptop. I walked through the setup screens and waited for close to an hour while updates were finished. This was longer than I expected, but Windows updates usually take some time, so I wasn’t overly concerned. The laptop comes with a 100W power adapter with a USB-C connector on it. When I started setting up the laptop, I noticed how nice the keyboard on it is. It doesn’t include the 10-key number pad, but the keys are nicely spaced out, and when I completed a typing test, I got a score of 86 WPM with 99% accuracy. This is much higher than my usual 73-75 WPM. After I walked through the setup and general use cases of the laptop, I moved on to some benchmarking tests. Geekbench 6 Single-Core Score: 3653 / Multi-Core Score: 18445 / OpenCL Score: 39475 Geekbench 6 shows strong overall performance across the board, with excellent single-core speed that translates to snappy everyday responsiveness. Apps open quickly, the system feels fluid during general use, and light tasks are handled effortlessly. The multi-core result also points to plenty of headroom for heavier workloads like video editing, multitasking, and creative work. The GPU compute score rounds things out by showing capable performance for acceleration-based tasks such as photo and video processing, making this a well-balanced system for productivity-focused users. Geekbench AI Single Precision Score: 1779 / Half Precision Score: 3042 / Quantized Score: 6594 Geekbench AI highlights how well the system handles modern machine learning and inference-style workloads. The scores that were returned after the tests were completed show performance is solid across different precision levels. This suggests it can comfortably support AI-assisted features in productivity apps and Windows tools. The quantized result, in particular, shows efficiency in optimized AI tasks, pointing toward good readiness for newer AI-driven workflows without relying on dedicated hardware. FurMark Benchmark Score: 2404 points FurMark pushes the GPU under extreme stress to test sustained performance and stability. The results show the system is able to maintain consistent output under heavy load, even if this type of workload is far beyond normal day-to-day use. While not reflective of real gaming performance, it does provide a useful look at thermal behavior and sustained GPU capability when the system is pushed hard for extended periods. Overall, this 14-inch Zenbook is a really well-rounded small laptop that feels great to use day to day. The OLED display looks excellent, the keyboard is comfortable, and the speakers are better than you would expect at this size. Performance is strong for everyday work and even holds up well in heavier tasks based on the benchmark results. It ends up being a solid all-around option for productivity, media, and light creative work.

Bought for my wife’s work and the arm chip handles it perfectly, I got it for the full power off charger and incredible battery life. The OLED screen looks amazing as well as the overall esthetic of the computer. We’ve had zero issues running everyday office programs and most are made for ARM now. I’ve even been playing games like cs2 on 1440 with low/medium settings with 120+ fps displayed to a 27in monitor via usbc. I would recommend getting 32gb ram and 1tb+ ssd if you want to casually play games or heavier graphic apps but this does the job. It’s not the purpose we bought it for so I’m happy it works. Only minor con i could see for some would be running anything that pushes the laptop hard, like games, will need a stand with fans to help cool it. Being so slim the cooling doesn’t compare to a larger laptop. When doing its intended job like 10-20 web tabs and office programs it’s not needed and fans aren’t audible.

Verdict: The ASUS Zenbook A14 OLED 2K is amazing! Wow, the color, feel, size, and weight! Everyone’s first reaction was the same: “wow!” Quality components and a beautiful screen round out this laptop to be a fantastic choice for road-warrior executives and travelers who need to pack light. I love it! First impressions. A box inside a box (see picture)! Premium packaging and unboxing. I LOVE the beige color, it pops and it’s unique. I really appreciate that the color is consistent throughout, including the keyboard and keys. I like the light purple hue to the backlit keys. I feel that the keys are a bit stiff when typing but I think it’s just habit. The laptop is feather light, thin, and small in length/width. The trackpad looks quite large because the laptop is small, but I think it works well. Performance. The specs for this new Zenbook are nice: a brilliant 2K OLED Screen, Snapdragon X2 for speed and power, onboard AI computation for faster queries, 16GB of RAM for realiable multitasking, 512GB of SSD storage for quicks start and snappy operations. 512GB of Storage is probably not enough for me, but I have cloud storage as well, so it’s fine. I generally prefer a dedicated graphics card, but the integrated card performed well for what I need to do on a machine and screen this size; I think that’s the right call. Also, such a thin laptop needs to be efficient to minimize heat. The bottom of laptop does get warm, but not hot (so far). The speakers are louder than expected and produce decent sound. Together, these components work well and fit the purpose of this laptop perfectly. Features. By far, the onboard AI capabilities is what I have been most interested in. I have seen this before on other laptops, but I am now using AI tools more than ever. In fact, I often max out my credits on some platforms, so I plan to maximize the use of onboard / offline AI to stretch my credits for online tasks. I know from a previous Zenbook that the touchpad does brightness by sliding up/down on the right, and volume by sliding up/down on the left of the touchpad. This great feature still works perfectly but it’s not obvious; I wonder how many people will miss it. Windows Hello is fast to setup, and works quite well. I like presence sensing; I think it provides the impression of the computer always being ready for you. I appreciate the hotkeys for camera off, touchpad off, volume, etc. ScreenXpert is interesting… While Windows provides some of these capabilities for screen splits, there are new options and additional capabilities worth exploring. Things I love. - Wow the color, weight, and size! - Nice specs to make a nice package - The screen looks great - It looks small and thin, but don’t be fooled: Military standard certification! - Enough port and more than I expected for such a small laptop - All day battery - Large trackpad that works well - Virtually silent computer Things I don’t love. - I feel that the keys are stiff when typing, but it's probably just me since I like clickity keyboards - I prefer webcams with physical shutters for privacy guarantee. There is a keyboard key to turn off the camera, but that is still a software shortcut Overall, this is a wonderful laptop with a high-end feel that will best support those that need portable performance or just a very nice small laptop. It looks amazing and performs well. I think that given everything included in this laptop, value is quite good. ASUS is consistently impressive every passing year... Well done! I highly recommend this laptop.

I like Asus laptops for their technology innovations. This Zenbook has quite a few good attributes with two minor shortcomings that should not deter the buyer seeking portability and performance. The lighted keyboard is one feature that not many laptops in this range bring. This the first small laptop I own with the Snapdragon processor in it. While the memory is not upgradeable, the hard drive can be upgraded. The screen is outstanding with vivid colors and excellent contrast and brightness. Thought this model comes with only 16GB RAM it is more than enough for multitasking and running several programs and apps for hours on end. It comes with a USB C charger as opposed to the proprietary chargers that used to come included. On the improvement side I can only mention two items: one is the build quality of the case is some type of plastic with a, nice color and design but since it's meant to be portable I am concerned with dropping my backpack and the case cracking or braking. The second is there is no fingerprint sensor which is convenient when on the go. Despite these I am very pleased with this Zenbook.

Zenbook laptops are renowned for their slim, practical designs and very good battery life. The Zenbook A14 OLED continues this tradition with outstanding results. Despite rising prices and shortages of computer RAMs and SSDs, finding a quality laptop isn't difficult when it comes to Asus Zenbook laptops. There is a lot to like from this laptop, however, the laptop also has its minor drawbacks. The essential point is to grasp what the user requires and how the laptop can effectively meet those demands. The laptop features a Snapdragon X2 Elite chip with 80 TOPS NPU, 16 GB Ram with 512 GB SSD, a 2K OLED display, sub-2.18lbs weight, full Ceraluminum chassis, Asus rated battery performance of 33+ hours of continuous video playback, WIFI 7 and Windows Hello camera. In terms of port selections, it has 2 USB C Gen 4, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, one audio combo jack and a HDMI 2.1 port. The beige Ceraluminum chassis looks really nice and could spark conversation with colleagues in a professional setting. Notably, the Zenbook A14 has won the prestigious IF Design Award in 2025. What’s Great: It’s a lightweight laptop with mostly excellent performance on nearly all fronts. Despite being so light, it still feels durable and sturdy. Battery endurance is huge with this laptop. I’m typing this review with 66% battery remaining and Windows is telling me that I have about 16 hours and 34 minutes of battery life. That is quite unbelievable battery performance for a Windows laptop. Windows users have been on the defensive side when comparing their laptops to Macbooks, but not anymore. This laptop surpasses them on battery life. On raw processing power, according to Asus the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip also surpasses M5 chip. Also, the difference in terms of computing performance when being unplugged is minimal based on Cinebench R24 performance testing data provided by Asus. The laptop also has Copilot integrated features, and it allows user to on-device AI natively with 80 TOPS NPU performance. The laptop is great for working in MS Office, browsing the internet, and other business tasks. Every task feels responsive and fast. It is also very capable of handling demanding workloads, such as video editing. I mostly use the laptop unplugged and it does not have problem running the tasks I performed. Also, the laptop runs pretty quiet and cool. The 2K OLED display is excellent. The screen has good glare control, and it is bright enough even at 70% of brightness. Colors pop and the blacks are excellent. It’s a great screen to watch movies. Audio quality is comparable to that of other great laptops. The speakers get reasonably loud, with a sound profile that leans toward the treble. Not so Great: Typing is good but not that great. The keyboard tactile response feels a bit less bouncy and less satisfying, but that’s just my preference. Overall typing experience, however, is on par with every other great laptop. Although the laptop has gaming potential, not all games run smoothly on the Snapdragon chip without extra work. Running games on an Arm-based processor like the Snapdragon X2 Elite depends heavily on the specific title. AAA games such as Crimson Desert will not run on this laptop though it may be possible to run it with some more work-around. Being an ultra portable laptop has its limitations. There’s no built-in SD card slots. The RAM is not upgradeable, however, the SSD is. Final thought It’s a great laptop with only a few minor drawbacks. Its biggest strengths are battery life and processor performance, as well as excellent screen boosted with audio performance that is on par with other great laptops. It can handle nearly everything I need, though I would not use it for AAA gaming. The 512 GB capacity is upgradeable so this laptop can grow with the user. This laptop is a great workhorse for professionals or even students who can afford it.

TL;DR: SETUP: The ASUS Zenbook A14 is quick to unbox and set up. Windows 11 boots up fast, and the OLED display is very impressive. USE: It is smooth and responsive with the Snapdragon X Elite chip, 16GB RAM, and fast 512GB SSD. USABILITY: It is lightweight, has an excellent OLED screen, and very good battery life. It has 2 USB‑C ports, 1 USB-A, 1 HDMI, and a 3.5mm jack. OVERALL: It is sleek, works well for productivity and media with an excellent display. REVIEW: I have been using the ASUS Zenbook A14 with the Snapdragon X Elite for just over a week. It is a well‑rounded, lightweight laptop that delivers strong everyday performance with a premium feel. Setup was simple and as expected with Windows 11; it took a few minutes to set up. The 14‑inch 2K OLED display immediately stands out. The blacks are black, the colors are vibrant, and text is sharp. It’s a noticeable upgrade from standard IPS panels and makes everything from browsing to streaming look better, especially for older eyes. Performance is very good. The Snapdragon X Elite processor keeps things fast and efficient. It has 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, which makes multitasking smooth. The 512GB PCIe SSD keeps boot times and file access quick. It’s not built for heavy gaming, but for productivity, streaming, and general use. It works great for my needs. It is lightweight and feels premium. The beige finish gives it a clean, modern look and feels sturdy without being heavy. It’s easy to bring with you for travel and working on the go. Battery life is very good. The 70Wh battery holds up well through a full day of mixed use. Charging is pretty easy and quick with a USB‑C charger up to 100W. Overall, this ASUS Zenbook A14 is a good choice if you need a portable, premium‑feeling Windows laptop with an excellent OLED display and good performance. It works well for everyday use and feels great to use.

This Zenbook from ASUS clicks almost all the boxes…and there is no ‘almost’ for my needs. This computer is blazing fast, due to the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. Also, due to this processor, it stays cool while lasting all day on a charge. Three days if I’m only checking emails. Having this ASUS on my lap while doing work, doesn’t heat up and start making the tops of my thighs uncomfortable. It stays cool. Hmmm — pretty amazing that something this fast can remain so cool. Seems to defy the laws of physics. The outer case for this laptop is clean looking and doesn’t seem to be a fingerprint magnet. I guess it’s a mixture of ceramic and aluminum. Strong and light weight and easy to keep clean. On one side of the laptop you have 2 USB-C ports and one HDMI port, along with a good old fashioned headphone jack. The same side has the world’s smallest LED light to let you know when the machine is charged/charging. I wish there was also a front facing indicator showing the same, but that’s not the end of the world. The other side of the laptop has a USB-A port. (The Zenbook charges by USB-C with a supplied dedicated, high output charger.) The 14” OLED display is amazing. I immediately found some high res samples online — it was mesmerizing. The stereo sound is fine. It’s a laptop. The keys have a good quality feel to them, and I like that you can set them to be backlit. I don’t think you could go wrong with this one. It has that feel like it’ll be solid for years to come.

Battery power for days. Enough Graphic and CPU umph to play Baldur's gate 3 decently (does get warm in that case). Great screen and Wifi speeds. The only negative I can say, and knew this going in, is the 16GB can feel a little tight. Also be sure you trim down the install and running AI stuff to fit your use case as the out of box on windows is pretty heavy. With medium brightnes and normal use I can go all day on a charge without issue.

I’m not a professional or anything like that, just leaving an honest review so hope this helps. Coming from an Asus ROG Zyphrus from like 2020 with no battery life (if I unplug it, it dies), I wanted a laptop that has great battery life for watching movies, YouTube, shows, etc. while also handling discord and MS Office stuff. This laptop has been able to do all of that but MS Office hasn’t been tested yet because my classes haven’t began. I’ll keep it short: • Keyboard is comfortable to use • Design is subjective but I like it • I do see fingerprints but not as bad as my previous laptop which was gray (I think that’s normal for every laptop) • speakers are normal, although I use headphones most of the time but when I’m not, they work just fine • battery life is where it’s at for me, I binge watched an entire season of rezero without charging and it had lots of battery life left after that, that’s insane to me, but I may just have PTSD from my previous laptop • I don’t use anything niche so it having an ARM processor doesn’t impact me • I bought it when it was on sale for $1099. I think this is a good price for it, anything more is overpriced honestly, wait for a sale. • screen is nice but you have to go to max brightness when the sun is hitting it even by a little bit Other than the original price being too high, I don’t have complaints yet, it does everything I wanted

This laptop is great for my daughter's first year of college. Not only is the performance of the laptop meeting her expectations, but she likes the style of it as well.

The ASUS Zenbook A14 is great to use. Its lightweight design feels very premium, making it convenient for school. The OLED screen is beautiful, great for watching movies, and the battery lasts all day quite well. The performance is powerful enough for studying, Office, and basic entertainment, but because the chip is relatively new, it may not be fully compatible with some older Windows software. When opening many heavy tabs, the machine can get hotter and use multiple fans. The speakers are a little quieter than expected but still sufficient in a quiet room.

I’ve been using the ASUS Zenbook A14 OLED as my travel laptop during weekekds for a car group I founded and run, and it’s instantly one of my favorite tech products in the portfolio. I organize and manage events for a large car enthusiast group so I’m always on the road looking for things to do, organizing meetups, tracking spreadsheets and registration, vendor information and last-minute logistics and all of that has gone great with this laptop. The first thing that stands out is the portability. The Zenbook A14 is very light, which is critical for getting it through airports, hotels, restaurants, car shows and event venues. It’s easily slipped inside a backpack without adding weight, but it feels very strong and durable. Not much is talked about on the exterior finish and texture of the laptop itself. I absolutely love the tactile feel. The material has a premium and tactile look that is familiar to your hands and provides a good grip for carrying it around. It doesnt feel cold or slippery when I pick it up like a metal laptop and the whole thing has a different feel. It is well made and very well executed. The 14-inch OLED 2K display is amazing. I can update spreadsheets, edit event flyers, edit photos from car shows and respond to emails. Long work sessions are comfortable and the screen quality is much better than that of most other laptops in this class. Performance has been great for my daily work. It is common for me to open multiple browser tabs, spreadsheets open, email on my computer, cloud storage syncing on my computer, and various event planning documents at the same time. Snapdragon X2 Elite processor with 16GB memory does not feel slow. Multitasking is a breeze and I never get slowdowns even on busy weekends. Battery life has been another major advantage. When traveling, I don’t always have convenient access to power outlets, and this laptop consistently lasts through long days of work. That’s a huge benefit when managing event logistics from a parking lot, hotel lobby, or race track. The keyboard is comfortable and I can’t see a flaw with the design in terms of usability. Overall, the ASUS Zenbook A14 OLED has been an outstanding travel laptop. It combines excellent portability, strong performance, impressive battery life, and a beautiful display into a package that’s easy to carry everywhere. For anyone who needs a reliable machine for productivity, event planning, spreadsheets, communication, and day-to-day business tasks while on the move, this laptop delivers exactly what a travel-focused professional needs…performance…portability…reliability…and a design that genuinely feels great every time you pick it up.

I’m a MacBook Air guy, but need a PC for times … when I need a PC. I usually keep a cheap laptop just in case I need to install some windows only software. Recently, my work switched to a specific cloud-based program that gave a bunch of us a hard time on Mac, so I looked into something svelte, light, and high quality to switch to. This Asus is a hair lighter than my MacBook Air, but it somehow feels significantly lighter. It doesn’t feel like it’s made of a solid block of aluminum like my Mac, so while it doesn’t feel as robust, it still feels well made and the reduced weight makes it even nicer to travel with and grab by the corner. Most importantly, it runs everything I throw at it as fast as I can click on things, the battery lasts a long time, and it just works. The OLED screen is BEAUTIFUL. Apple screens look great, but they need to get on that asap. I did run into an issue with windows refusing to connect to my wifi7 network, so I couldn’t advance the initial setup. Got through that with a wifi6 network and a windows update. Small things I appreciate: The power button is in the top right, but one in from the corner position. They left the delete key there, yay! The touchpad is a big one. It takes up almost all of the vertical space available to it and it’s nice and wide. The laptop never gets hot, although I don’t game on it. Battery seems to last forever. The texture is really awesome. Not sure what the plastic is, but I’m not familiar with it. Very matte and it feels nice to the touch. The color is awesome. Very minimalist design with a neat beige (who would have thought?) Full size USB port and 2 USB-C ports (charging too)! Also full size HDMI! Incredible to fit these into a laptop this thin and light. The backlit keyboard with 4 steps of variable brightness is very well lit and no uneven leakage. Hotkeys do functions and F-keys are secondary. I love this laptop!
