Great fun for the whole family! Again, I hate that best buy is doing away with physical movies next year. Hope they will reconsider

The Barbie movie is a movie that is surprisingly fun and entertaining.

As you would expect for a brand new release, especially from Warner Bros., the 4K picture quality of Barbie is incredibly strong. The Atmos mix is a little less active than somebody may wish for, but it's by no means truly lacking. The special features are pretty standard fair which means they're unfortunately a bit of fluff behind the scenes interviews. However, the real draw is the movie itself. To make a good movie based on IP from Mattel is one thing; to make a movie this great based on it is another.

Unexpectedly hilarious, great characters, and a good commentary on modern society. I will be watching this one again and again. The HDR on the 4k version really makes the vibrant colors of Barbie’s world pop. The Atmos mix for it is decent too, but this isn’t really the kind of movie where you care as much about spatial tracking of sound sources.

I have 2 young daughter's and wasnt looking forward to seeing it because i thought it was going to be a live version of those horrible made for dvd animated movies. I was shocked at how much i liked it. I laughed alot, thought the cast and acting wss great and somwere the sets.

Its a nice movie, not what i was expecting in a good way. The message behind the movie is powerful, yet the approach is of a less serious storytelling with a tone of lighted hearted goofy fun. And here I am, a grown man with a family and I enjoyed every bit of the movie from beginning to end.

My Daughter really wanted to see this, we decided to go with the disk version, and I dont regret it has great audio, and presentation. My whole family enjoyed, which was a bit unexpected! I have one daughter and two sons, who were not excited to see it, but enjoyed it anyways.

Very cool adaptation of a toy franchise! I hope they make more of these!

I was surprised by this movie as I’m not a Barbie fan.Bought this for my daughter as she loved it when she wen to see it.The 4k quality is excellent on my Samsung and the sound is right where it should be for this type of movie.I do wish the steelbook came out the same time as this one.

This film is well written for both children and adults. It has a stunning picture quality with an vibrant Dolby Vision HDR and amazing Dolby Atmos sound. This is definitely one of the best pick ups for this year.

Family loves this movie. Was a great choice and lucky to have the a physical copy and digital.

My daughter loved her movie. Also I so appreciated how Best Buy sneaked the purchase from my daughter since I had no sitter while xmas shopping. Love their service, as always. She was very surprised!

I bought this for a Christmas gift and it’s her favorite movie, it came in great condition! I’ve never watched it so I bought it based off of how much she enjoyed the movie, we’re watching it Christmas Day!

Put aside that Barbie is a doll made for children and realize that this movie isnt like the cutest animated ones. Its a clever narrative on feminism and honestly, the humor is top tier in my opinion.

You'll love it or you'll hate it. I thought it was a great movie. We could talk about specs, but that doesn't matter as much any more, especially with the newer movies.

Had no idea this movie would be this good! Not just a movie about a doll come to life but a statement about society. You have to see it.
