To this day, it pains me that this version of the film was not the one that made it theaters. For those curious about this infamous film or for those that watched the theatrical cut, I recommend this version of the film. This is the one we were meant to see.

Its almost there, with a good cast, fun and easy to follow storyline this checks a lot of the A/V marks however there is a issue. This set comes with a nice hologram style cover, a 3D BR, regular BR and a Digital Copy which would be great if you had a faster than 10Mbit internet connection. Many of the movie companies are doing this trick now where they know that many people still like the DVD, be it so you can watch it on you PC while working or surfing, or on a plane, in the car, etc, because even if you have a blu ray drive in you PC and Laptop (like I do) you still have a very hard time to find the right player (still haven't found a good one yet) so you can't use the blu ray disks in the set and if you don't have anything but a faster than fast internet connection you might as well give the HD Digital Copy to a friend with one because you will only get frustrated trying to watch it. The movie companies are already cutting corner by having the disks made in Mexico (just check, 90% or more of the TV shows, and Movies on the shelf have "Made in Mexico" cleverly printed on the back were it is hard to see) so let's get the DVD's back in the mix. We know that people still want them because i see Blu Ray & HD Digital or DVD & HD Digital, were you used to get Blu Ray, DVD & HD Digital all in one, or if it was a 3D movie then you would usually get all those and a 3D Blu Ray disk as well. For the prices that they are charging ($24.99 to $44.99, which is outrageous for a none steelcase without a DVD disk) so I am sure they can afford to add a 15-20 cent DVD version with you $35 3D Blu Ray combo, we just need to let them know.

————————————Pros————————————— Movie: Found the previous one more engaging. Picture: Passive 3D is the best projected on an OLED panel, 4K upscale. Audio: Atmos mix is appreciated on a Blu-ray that was played on an Oppo with a 11.2 (7.2.4). Digital Copy: Yes. Price: well at under $10 Packing: The stretchy wrapping that allows me to put a slit & repurpose it as a dust cover. ————————————Cons———————————— Slipcover: No

Having seen the theatrical cut in the the theaters I thought the movie was great ( which I am a die hard fan and collector of everything Superman ) so when I heard that there would be an extended cut on Blu Ray although it was being called the Ultimate Edition I knew that I had to own it ASAP. Although the film got bad reviews from critics that don't know a good film when they see it I would tell you the buyer to not listen to the critics at all but listen to the other fans such as myself because this movie was a hit from day one of it's release. The reversible packaging is very cool and the fact that you also get both Blu Ray copies of the theater and extended cuts of the film plus the DVD copy of the theater version you also get the digital HD copies of the theater cut and the extended cut to take with you on your mobile device such as a smart phone or a tablet or a laptop so you can either stream or download a copy to enjoy while on the go.

This remasterd version is true 4k. The color is superior to the original 4k release. The IMAX scenes have bars on the side, however the clarity, detail, and color is exceptional. Can't wait until Zack Snyder release of Justice league comes out in 4k bluray. Re

After decades of waiting to see the true Dark Knight opposite an onscreen Man of Steel, the delivery is truly audacious! After several through the denigration of the '60's West and Ward sitcom, Batman as he truly is and should be, both characteristically and visually, has been presented to the teeming masses! An all star hitter!

The Steelbook is pretty well packaged. Batman on one side; flip the case and it's Superman. Re disc: most of the additional 30 minutes (from the extended version) are at the beginning of the film. Otherwise, it is still the same film seen at the theatre.

I thought the movie was ok when I watched it in the theater. The Blu Ray has the extended cut, which is a much better cut of the movie. Great visuals and audio make this a must have! Great for showing off your home theater system!

I liked this movie when I saw it in the theater, but the extended edition that contains additional scenes should have been released in the theaters. I believe it would have received better reviews than the original cut. Any fan of the DC comic world will enjoy this extended film.

This version has more gore and depth to the visual which makes it better in my opinion. Especially on the 4k uhd.

Having pride myself on not being a "professional" critic, I can say, without reservation that this movie's ultimate cut should have been the one released theatrically, as it gives you everything you wanted to know to enjoy the film!

Solid movie, but they had too many different stories going on. Tried to cram several storylines into one movie. I did like the length of the movie, but I like 3hr long movies when there isn't any lull in the story. This movie had too many lulls. Still worth getting, and checking out. Ben Affleck is the worse batman to date! Henry Cavill is the best Superman to date!
