This is one of those albums that make genre changing music. Hip Hop, still being in its infancy was beginning to really grow creatively and get more complex. Along came the Beastie Boys and together with Rick Rubin did exactly that, expanding the sound of hip hop and its audience. Psyched to add to my collection.

this group spoke to me as a kid and it was like they where telling my story.lol but seriously this album is their best and is just so fresh and raw when it came out.

it's a classic, great songs that most will know. I prefer the durability of CD's, but love the art on albums and the remastered ones sound great.

Album cover is the original double fold crashing plane. Vinyl is exceptionlly clean and crystal clear.

Beastie Boys were considered a comedy rap group when "Fight for Your Right" came out on MTV. Then, people bought the record. Overnight became not just a serious group but defined rap for over next ten years. There use of great lyrics and the most creative and funky sampling make them a rap powerhouse. Three Jewish boys from the Big Apple, I love it. Great pressing. Far better than cd.

I've owned this Pallas pressing since July and it has been amazing. Dead quiet vinyl, barely any surface noise, nice and flat, no warps, and most importantly of all, an awesome soundstage! Definitely pick this pressing up.

I bought this when it came out on cassette. It’s pretty awesome to have the vinyl now. Great art on the album!

Vinyl is the best way to enjoy music, especially a classic like this Beastie Boys album. Put the record on the turntable and spend the afternoon looking at album cover art work while enjoying the music. It is awesome

Beastie Boys? On vinyl? Oh heck yes!!!!! When this was announced as coming out on vinyl for its anniversary, this was put on top of the wish list. One of the greatest Rap albums of all time. From beginning to end, front to back, it is non-stop perfection.

Absolutely an amazing album. The beats, the rhymes, the humor...amazing. Sounds great on vinyl too, a must own for any fan of old school hip-hop or obviously the Beastie Boys in general.

I've owned this album on cassette, CD, and vinyl. Cassette long gone, original vinyl in rough shape, this 30th anniversary repress sounds better than the original ever did.

Great record! I owned an original copy until my brother gave it away. And now, I got a better copy! Once I put it on, I was whisked back to when I first bought the original!

The Beastie Boys "Licensed to ill" has always been a favorite, the new re-master sounds great, and most of the old records out there are scratched and sound pretty bad! If you don't know them, check this out!!!

Hard to find original vinyl from the Beasty Boys, but this one does the trick for now by giving you their greatest hits.
