I purchased the Blink Battery Doorbell 2K+ as an upgrade from the original Blink Doorbell that has served us well for the past few years. While I initially wasn't crazy about installing a bigger doorbell (this model uses 3 AA batteries where the original only used 2), the extra battery will mean even longer battery life before they need to be changed. This newer model also supports Smart Detection (available with a Blink annual subscription plan), so I can have it alert me only when a person, vehicle, or any type of motion is detected. The camera has a taller view (first offered in the Blink Doorbell 2K) which gives you a much larger field of vision compared to the original Blink Doorbell, and the higher 2K+ resolution will provide crisper details in the videos it records. As for mounting it, we needed a Blink corner wedge mount for our initial install of the first gen doorbell and the wedge was sold separately. The new model includes the corner mount in the box, which was a nice surprise. Also, the 2K+ doorbell uses the same wedge mount as the original doorbell, so all I had to do was remove the old doorbell, wire up the new one to our existing wiring, and then it was ready to go.

The doorbell quality is good and battery life is decent. I wish there were loval storage options as well

Great Door Bell Camera a tad of a ache to hook to wi fi but it works great!

This doorbell is handsome, and feels good in the hand. The big button is satisfying. Setup is a breeze. It works well with my other blink cameras and the app. Now, ever since day one, it's been temperamental. I purchased this at a fantastic price on sale, so perhaps I shouldn't really complain too much... However, it's been recording half second videos, needing batteries removed and reinserted to wake it up, and is NOT sensing movement nearly as often as I had hoped. And I can't check in. And no, I don't want to bother with product support. I will probably just stick to using my other blank cams and give up on this one.

When the door bell button is depressed it does not always ring fully.

Bought this for my parents who were looking for a digital option without having to be subscribed to yet another thing. Great camera quality and easy app to navigate.

This thing lags and delays horribly. I have the mini cameras which work fine inside my home but this doorbell is not worth ut.

Anytime new products with blink I always get for myself and I gift alot of people with these cameras

Subscription is pricey but is worth it when its regarding safety
