About this product
2018 . Bliss Signal, formed within the last year by James Kelly (Wife, Altar Of Plagues) and respected UK DJ/producer Mumdance, is an electronic metal band in which Kelly returns to making harsh and heavy music with a guitar for the first time since the last and final groundbreaking Altar Of Plagues album Teethed Glory & Injury. While not a direct continuation from that, the music enveloping this debut captures the vibe and essence of the more ambient and experimental moments found in Altar Of Plagues, most notably on that final album. Bliss Signal is also a different a new musical expression coming from Kelly's musical repertoire. The addition of Mumdance brings in a heavy electronic element through modular noise, heavy beats, and vast synth soundscapes. This album is awash with a massive wall of unrelenting sound, intense atmosphere, and shimmering, enveloping ambience.

Their self-titled debut album sounds less like a casual experiment than a band that has been playing together for years. With The Blips sharing lead vocals, guitar, and bass duties, this surprisingly cohesive and high energy album ranges from straight-forward garage rock to hit-and-run rockers to pop ballads with massive lead parts and gang vocals. They've even got a song called Wild Thing II. The Blips are Taylor Hollingsworth, Wes McDonald, Eric Wallace, and Chris McCauley. Album Tracks 1. Inside Out 2. Walking Home 3. Throw Me Around 4. Out to Sea 5. Wild Thing II 6. Yes Yes No Yes Yes No 7. Same Do 8. Gold Rush 9. Patty's Patio 10. One and Done
