Another great purifier from Blueair
You can't go wrong having a HEPA air purifier in your home. This is my second Blueair air purifier, and you just can't beat the amount of features you get with these purifiers. They constantly monitor the air quality of your room and automatically (if you set it to Auto) switch to the appropriate setting to quickly clean the air. The ComfortPure is a competent air purifier in a compact size. It's just the right height to be at home on the floor, or up on a table. In fact, it has a handy built in carrying strap on the back that let's you move it anywhere you need to clean the air. It comes with an easy to use remote control, which will let you use all the functions and modes. The remote is intuitive and straight forward. You can also just use the touch control panel on the top of the machine. These controls are the same that the remote has, but you can also see which mode you're in and what the fan speed is set to. There's also a numeric readout that is multi functional and lets you cycle through the various filtration settings and temperature. You also get a WiFi icon to let you know your purifier is connected to your home network. There are two indicators on the front. The uppermost one is a visual indication of the air quality it's measuring and shows you via different colors. The smaller indicator below this one shows which mode the purifier is in. So in addition to the standard air purifier mode, there's also a Heat mode that filters the air and blows warm air out to help heat colder rooms. This does provide a generous amount of heat, and feels like what a stand alone room heater would feel like. The last mode is a Cool mode, which like the Heat mode, blows cool air into the room. The cool mode is great when you have an oven going and need some additional cooling in the room. Or if you have a tech heavy room like a computer gaming room or home theater that likes to heat the place up. While it's not like having an AC unit blowing on you, it does help to keep the air temperature down. The ComfortPure also has an oscillating feature. This not only helps to move more air around the room but you can actually set how much of an angle the purifier will rotate. One of the best things that's included is the Blueair app (when I say “included”, that means free to download). This is a very full featured and informative app. There's a ton of information and you can control it remotely and see what's going on with your air quality. The top of the app shows several things like purification, indoor temperature and humidity. Below that is a colorful graph that illustrates your air quality over time. You can turn the purifier on or off and set the mode you want, the fan speed you like and the oscillation. If you only want to run it for a specific amount of time, there's a timer to let you do that. There's even a filter life percentage bar so you can see how much life your filter has left. You can add schedules for different days and choose start and stop times. The HEPA filter is great for true air cleaning and will filter particles down to 0.1 microns. It will help to eliminate odors, bacteria, virus and mold. Anyone wanting to have truly clean air in their home will enjoy the benefits and features that Blueair air purifiers offer. Once you have one, you won't want to go back to not using one. The HEPA filter is easy to install/replace and is accessible from the back of the machine. Just pull off the magnetically attached vent panel, pull out the filter assembly and remove and install the filter in the holder. Blueair makes feature packed HEPA air purifiers that clean your home's air continuously and removes odors from cooking and other sources. Great product from a leader in the industry.

More than just an air purifier
The T10i shows how far Blueair has come in both design and capabilities of their air filtration units. First of all, it is absolutely gorgeous. The T10i looks like it belongs with the decor, instead of sticking out like a sore thumb like some other units I have working around the house. The T10i is also very quiet in operation. Only when it speeds up above two on the fan speed can you distinctly hear it running (which only happens on occasion, like when a door is open too long or someone burns some food, lol). Blueair suggests utilizing the T10i in rooms with a max square footage of 175 square feet (due to the 12.5 minute air cleaning time), but allows for rooms up to 840 square feet (takes an hour to clean the air). I have the T10i sitting in a space between my kitchen and the family room, near my back door. The area is probably 500 square feet or so, and the T10i has no issues whatsoever keeping the air clean (as indicated by the pollutant tracking display on the top of the unit). The T10i has some additional bells and whistles that must be mentioned. For one, it oscillates, so it can double as a fan to move some air around the room. Another added benefit is the heating element built into it, which allows the T10i to act as a heated fan. Cold hands after coming in from outside? Fire up the heater in the T10i and hold your hands near the outlet. Works great! Also does a great job of heating up a smaller room without having to run your central heating. The unit comes with a remote, or better, you can download the app to a smartphone and control it that way. The T10i is literally a set it and forget it piece. The app allows complete control of the T10i, and also trends air quality for you. I set the fan on automatic and boosted purification auto and just let it do its thing. This is a fantastic piece of equipment. It just works. Air quality has improved in my downstairs since plugging it in, and I’ve noticed a decrease in dust and cat hair/dander on furniture and floor. Highly recommended!

Full function in a smaller form
This is my second 3-in-1 device, and the most impressive thing to note is the footprint. My other unit is the size of a standard kitchen trashcan, while the Blueair is literally half that with the same level of functionality. When you first plug it in, it immediately calibrates, and if you have the app installed, you can get a precise readout on your air quality. The touchscreen is very basic, but completely operational providing al necessary functionality should you choose not to install the app. Heating is effective in coverage, speed to warmth, and volume, but the internal thermostat is questionable in small degree variances. I'll explain in my negatives below. Cooling is a powerful fan. It does have good airflow, but note that it is just a fan, not a functional "cooler." The unit does exactly what it says and does it well in a very small form factor, and my issues have very little to do with its performance. Issues- Lackluster remote. The remote is extremely basic with very limited options for tailoring usage. Also, a big also, if you turn on the screen lock on the unit, the remote becomes useless. You cannot change modes, makes adjustments, or tailor airflow until you physically go and unlock the screen, or use the app to unlock the screen, then use the remote, which is asinine. Speaking of the app. App reliance- If you want the best experience, you will need to download the app. While you can get full use with the touchscreen, the app will be your primary tool for setting variables (timer, approaching home, etc.). Being that this is my second Blueair device, I am accustomed to the app and enjoy using it, but note that if you're not, you'll need it to truly experience all this device has to offer. Calibration- Each time you turn on the purifier, it will need to calibrate and read the air. This takes some time, and limits some functions. The issue is once it's calibrated, and you accidentally power it off, and immediately power it back on, you're waiting for it to calibrate again. Minor issue, but it can be tedious if you're trying to turn it on right before the kids head to bed. Internal measurements- In addition to my purifiers, I have hygrometers throughout the space that accurately measure temp, humidity, and other metrics. In comparison with the Blueair, the temperature reads have improved, but in the beginning, once I set a temperature for the heat, it would be off by 1-4 degrees. That may not seem like a lot, but the difference between 70 and 74 degrees can be stark. To be fair, it has improved and I only mention it so that you can be aware to test it out for your usage. The humidity in the Blueair is usually off by 5-10%. this doesn't affect me much as I rely on the hygrometer for humidifier function, but if you want precision across the board, this is a hang-up. To recap, the functionality of the unit is top-notch. Excellent air quality with functional heating and a powerful fan that provides full room coverage. While I have a few hiccups in the details, I would recommend this without question.
