Blood on the Tracks is one of Bob Dylan's best and most iconic records. That being said, these earlier recordings often outshine their previously released counterparts. Dylan's musical confidence is infused in this record and listening to it makes me grateful to hear it after all these years. It's basically Dylan on guitar, harmonica, and vocal, along with Tony Brown on bass. The stripped-down, but tight delivery enhances the places Dylan is able to take these songs. This record is actually more listenable than the original, and is a must-have for even a casual fan of Bob Dylan.

My favorite Bob Dylan album. So glad I happened upon this bare bones version of it.
