These bookshelf speakers are thebomb. They bring every sound in my home theater to life. They are matched with mid and back Bose speakers to complete a 7.1 system and an incredible Polk center speaker.

Bose has floored me again. To make it short and sweet you will not be disappointed. These 2 compact speakers produce major bass and crystal clear mids and highs. Low volume or high, these speakers are amazing!!!

this set of speakers is truly the best purchase i have made as far as bookshelf speakers go i honestly did not expect these speakers to sound or handle as well as they do i can not turn my system up as loud as it will go because there is honestly no end to the power handeling performance that they have also i was kind of surprised that they really were cost effective as far as building my system in seperate units and you can place them most anywhere in the room and they really do sound extremely larger than they really are something to look forward to in the future is my next purchase of bose speakers wich will more than likely be the 301 sreies V Direct wich is the next step up from the 201 series V Direct speakers wich i am currently writing about they are truly great sounding and really handsome speakers

I am very happy with the Bose 201's and have been using them a lot. Sound-wise, they are sized well for being centrally located in my home providing music to an open-plan living room, dining room & kitchen. I am not an expert, but I have been very happy with the sound quality as well. Aesthetically, my wife and I disagree. I think they are fine and unobtrusive on top of a long 7' tall cabinet. She thinks they are too large and draw the eye. (We also looked at the Bose 161's but she was concerned their output would be insufficient for our space.) I am happy with my purchase and would recommend these speakers.

The speakers work well with the amp. Easy installation. Bluetooth feature an added bonus. Decent sound for speaker size...

After removing old speakers (noting polarity), I found it very easy to insert old speaker wires into the new speakers. I turned on the stereo and enjoyed the clean crisp sound with plenty of good bass. Great speakers. I wished I would have replaced my old speakers sooner!

I wanted to get speakers that can handle loud music and tv so I looked at these and I know Bose is really good. They can handle any loud music. I am satisfied

These things are loud!!!! They sound so clear and crisp. Could not ask for better speakers for my price range.

I replaced a 35 year old stereo receiver/amp and speakers. The sound is far better than it ever was and I especially love the Bluetooth connection to Alexa.

I came into Best Buy to purchase speakers for my 21 year old son. He knows NOTHING about good speakers...so I decided to A/B some pioneer, panasonic, and 2 other off-brand speakers with the BOSE. NO comparison. WIder separation...better clarity...less 'muddy' sounding...and just crystal clear highs, with great lows. These are some of BOSE's less-expensive speakers, at around $200...but are the best sounding in the price range. Get them. You WON'T be disappointed!

This were purchased to replace some dry rotted rear speakers that I've had since the 90's. They are a great sonic match to the Bose speakers that I'm using for the fronts. My comment about the weight really isn't an issue. I believe it would not be possible to have the sound quality, that these have, with a lesser weight. The old wall stands are holding up so it's not a problem.

We love this Bose speakers. We love listening to music that’s why we bought this. Good bargain for this kind of speakers. They are the best speakers ever. I won’t settle for less. Also, Best Buy is the best esp. the one in River Park.

The speakers were easy to setup and sound great. I have them as my left and right speakers in my surround sound environment.

Better depth and low frequency response than other similar priced speakers. Nice full sound. Attractive looking, as well.

Good sound quality for my hard-of-hearing dad. He can hear the difference between the highs and lows - which is not typical for most speakers.

I was looking for a pair of Bose speakers to compliment my amplifier. I listened to these and I really like them! Plus the price was great.

These are amazing speakers. They don't take up much room and sound better that speakers twice their size.
