The original lenses don't block much sun at all. these are much darker. they are also polarized and mirror and in my opinion look much better. Easy to replace, simply pop out and pop in.

The lenses scratch up easily. They were cheap so what would you expect.

The price is more than fair for the benefit you get from. These if you’re commuting in your car. Plus, even if you aren’t listening to music, the sunglasses are too knotch. The only regret I had when I bought my Bose Alto "audio sunglasses" was that the lenses were not polarized. This accessory easily solves that problem. You "install" the lenses yourself by simply popping out the non-polarized ones, and then popping these in. Very easy, and quite effective.
