![I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness - Fear Is on Our Side - COMPACT DISCS [CD]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/8d2841e1-b73f-47ce-aa4d-122e7335082b.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
The full-length debut of this Texas band follows their 2003 self-titled five-song EP; a much poppier affair produced by Spoon's Britt Daniel, with a dose of thunder and lightning, pain and pleasure. Produced this time by Paul Barker (Ministry, Revolting Cocks), the record is more sadness than joy with lonely lyrics and hauntingly echoed guitar persuaded by chorused basslines. The sound is coaxing and familiar, then howling and anguished. Reminiscent of latter-era Talk Talk; with the introspection also comes passion. InchFear Is on Our SideInch isn't trivial or banal, trendy or futile. It's a testament to our times, our revolutions, and our meaning. It's timeless, maniacal, and resounding. Darkness and truth. Album Tracks 1. Ghost, the 2. According to Plan 3. Lights 4. Owl, the 5. Today 6. We Choose Faces 7. Last Ride Together 8. At Last Is All 9. Long Walk 10. Fear Is on Our Side 11. (Untitled) 12. If It Was Me

Esthetic games as ends in themselves are far from the mind of the Latvian composer Peteris Vasks. He believes in InchL'art pour l'hommeInch (Art for mankind) rather than InchL'art pour l'artInch (Art for art's sake). He sees his music as a language of the soul. This program features elegant performances of Sala, Musica appassionata and Credo from the Liepaja Symphony Orchestra led by conductor Atvars Lakstigala. Album Tracks 1. Sala Symphonic Elegy for Orchestra - Liepaja Symphony Orchestra 2. Musica Appassionata Per Orchestra D'archi - Liepaja Symphony Orchestra 3. Credo - Liepaja Symphony Orchestra

Within weeks of the of their acclaimed debut album Someday World, Warp is excited to reveal that the collaboration between Brian Eno and Karl Hyde continues with a second full-length album, HIGH LIFE. Written and recorded across a series of recording sessions in April of 2014 (some of which were open to selected media from around the world), none of the music on HIGH LIFE existed before SOMEDAY WORLD was completed! The resulting record, at 6 tracks and 45 minutes, is the clearest expression yet of the 'Reichkuti' (Steve Reich meets Fela Kuti) direction that first brought the Eno Hyde collaboration into being. Album Tracks 1. Return 2. DBF 3. Time to Waste It 4. Lilac 5. Moulded Life 6. Cells & Bells
