Buckingham Nicks - Buckingham Nicks - VINYL LP

The legendary debut studio album from Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham. Buckingham Nicks is the only studio album by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo, prior to them joining Fleetwood Mac. Originally released in 1973 and unavailable for decades, the album has been sourced from the original analog master tapes and will be available for the first time on CD. Released on September 5, 1973, Buckingham Nicks quickly faded from commercial view but never disappeared from the cultural conversation. Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Keith Olsen, the album introduced Nicks and Buckingham's tightly wound harmonies and sharply contrasting songwriting voices across 10 tracks-ranging from the folk-rock shimmer of InchCrystalInch to the sunbaked strut of InchDon't Let Me Down Again.Inch Album Tracks 1. We recorded Open Door Policy in two different sessions in the back half of 2019. Once again we teamed with producer Josh Kaufman and engineer Dan Goodwin, this time at the Clubhouse studio in upstate NY. Our intention was to create an album that worked as a grand piece, rather than a collection of songs. 2019 was an active year for The Hold Steady - our writing was consistent, and new songs were coming in pretty regularly. The recording process was creative, open and fun. We were pretty much done with the record by the time we played a few of the new songs in London the first week of March 2020, as the unease of the pandemic was setting in. Not long after we got back from London, NYC shut down and we began to see our 2020 shows postponed. Over the next months, it became obvious that timing this album's to specific weekend celebrations wouldn't be a possibility in the near future. But we were still excited to share it. InchThe songs on Open Door Policy are about power, wealth, and mental health. They're about technology, occupation, consumerism, freedom, fandom and escape. And although the album was written and recorded in 2019, the themes of this record seem to be underscored and highlighted by this year of virus and quarantine.Inch - Craig Finn Album Tracks 1. The Feelers 2. Spices 3. Lanyards 4. Family Farm 5. Unpleasant Breakfast 6. Heavy Covenant 7. The Prior Procedure 8. Riptown 9. Me & Magdalena 10. Hanover Camera

Vinyl LP pressing. 2017 . Longtime members of Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have joined together to record their first-ever album as a duo. The Mac bandmates rediscovered their creative bond after McVie rejoined the group's lineup in 2014. The album offers what both partners see as the sensible - and long-overdue - culmination of a long-term partnership. InchWe were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically,Inch explains Buckingham. InchThe body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, 'what took us so long?'Inch InchWe've always written well together, Lindsey and I,Inch adds McVie. InchThis has just spiraled into something really amazing that we've done between us.Inch Tracked in Los Angeles, Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie serves as a de facto Fleetwood Mac album of sorts; although singer Stevie Nicks was not involved, the duo worked with Mac rhythm section Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, adding their distinctive Inchdynamic rhythmic engineInch to the 10-song set.
