UK double vinyl LP pressing. Highly anticipated 2010 from the Norwegian Black Metal legends, their first album in 11 years! This long-player is entitled Belus after the name of the ancient European solar deity of light and innocence. The album is not a religious album or an anti-religious album, nor is it a political one, but an attempt to explore the myths about Belus and unveil the oldest roots of our cultural heritage. The album deals with the death of Belus, his somber journey through the realm of death and his magnificent return. In essence the album and the story of Belus is meant to be an entertaining story about something that once upon a time played a major role in the forming and shaping of Europe. Album Tracks 1. Leukes Renkespill (Introduksjon) 0 33 2. Belus' Doed 6 23 1. Glemselens Elv 11 54 2. Kaimadalthas' Nedstigning 6 43 1. Sverddans 2 27 2. Keliohesten 5 45 1. Morgenroede 8 54 2. Limited double grey vinyl LP pressing. 2012 album from the Norwegian Black Metal band led by Varg Vikernes. Umskiptar finds inspiration from the verses of famous Scandinavia poem Voluspa. Expanding the ongoing influence of Nordic Folk, the album adds more traditional heavy metal, signature Burzum composition, but with a keener emphasis on vocal delivery (again presented in Vikernes native tongue). Vikernes says, 'Umskiptar is a return-to-roots album for me, with a strong focus on atmosphere and wholeness. The vocals are more important than on any previous album.' Album Tracks 1. Blodstokkinn (Soaked in Blood) 2. Joln (Deities) 3. Alfadanz (Elven Dance) 4. Hit Helga Tre (The Sacred Tree) 5. Aera (Honour) 6. Heidr (Esteem) 6. Valgaldr (Song of the Fallen) 7. Galgvidr (Gallow Forest) 8. Surtr Sunnan (Black from the South) 9. Gulladr (Golden Age) 10. Nidhoggr (Attack from Below)
