Laziness/convenience and health drove me to start searching for a change from our gas cooktop. I always though gas was the gold standard, but seeing more and more articles about indoor air quality and gas stoves had me doing more research about it. I was also sick and tired of how much of a pain in the bu++ it was to clean our gas cooktop. We had a stainless steel cooktop and it was horribly scratched as well. After finally receiving the cooktop (the Best Buy delivery/install company was a huge issue), and using it for a few weeks now, I am very happy with the switch. There is a bit of a learning curve, coming from gas cooking, but it hasn't taken too long to get use to it. We first had to replace our cookware, that was supposed to be induction-ready. The set we had was the Ninja Foodi NeverStick Vivid, from Best Buy. Do not get those! One pan didn't work at all, and the others worked only on some of the burners, despite being the appropriate size. After we received our new cookware, the cooktop has worked like a dream. Our food cooks more evenly and I feel I have greater control over the temperature. I've been able to set a burner to low and it will simply keep the food warm until I'm ready to serve it. Water does boil faster, but it takes longer than the claimed 90 seconds. I love that I can lock the cooktop controls because we actually had an incident where our dog turned on our gas cooktop when we weren't home. Very scary. Cleaning this cooktop... Wow!!! So easy! I've used water and a paper towel, or for a good shine, I use the included cleaner and paper towel. I even had to clean off hardened honey and it came off just by using my fingernail. Take note, though, that the cooktop will make noises that may, at first, sound concerning. The buzzing sound is normal. Research it and it will explain the technology that causes this. The only negative thing associated with this cooktop is the app. The Smart HQ app is worthless. The app provides zero control over the cooktop. It sends me a notification when the cooktop is On, but not when it's been turned Off. Despite the useless app, I still love the cooktop.

Beautiful cooktop, looks amazing. looks better on lighter colored countertops than a black cooktop. Only complaint is that its noisy. But im so impressed with the inductive tech, the clean display and the beauty of it even when it just sits there, that it deserves 5 stars.

I love this cooktop! I grew up with gas, but in moving to Oregon, we had no access to gas, and house was all electric, so we had a glass cook top. I never liked it, and when I finally needed to get a new cooktop, we looked at several different brands of Induction tops. Finally decided on this particular one and I'm very happy with it! It's FAST heat and fast cooldown. I can control the heat levels quickly and easily, even better than gas! I highly recommend it! It also came with a special skillet that connects to the wifi, tho I have yet to set it up.

Sleek looking cooktop that is very easy to clean. Amazing temperature control. Just make sure to check if your pots and pans are induction friendly or be prepared to buy new pots and pans.

We recommend using quality cookware with heavier bottoms for better heat distribution and even cooking results. Cookware made of magnetic stainless steel, enamel coated cast iron, enameled steel and combinations of these materials should be chosen. I love it. You can boil water in 90 seconds. You can set the temperature to an exact temperature. You can use with Hestan Cue smart pans to control time, temperature, and auto shutoff. I LOVE THIS STOVE.

Nice cooktop, but the “stainless steel” designation is confusing since there’s no stainless steel visible anywhere when installed, and I don’t think the bottom is stainless.

Good but brittle

From a cooking standpoint, I love this cooktop and the technology. It looks great. But we have had 2 now and both have cracked on the edges very easily. If you barely touch the edges with a pan it cracks and looks bad and has sharp corners. Disappointing durability. We have not even had it for 6 months and have already had two crack……
