It’s compact, powerful, and perfect for DIY projects, from home automation to running a media center. Setup was straightforward, and the performance is solid for its size. Best Buy’s shipping was fast, and the product arrived in excellent condition. Highly recommend for tech enthusiasts and beginners alike!

The Raspberry Pi 5 kit is a great little package if you want an affordable, compact machine for tinkering, light server work, retro gaming, or learning projects. It feels noticeably faster than older Pi models, the setup is straightforward, and having the full kit makes it easy to get started without hunting for extra parts.

Perfect product, running perfectly. With instructions for DIY projects too

Amazingly powerful computer in a palm sized form, exceeded expectations 10x!

Great raspberry pie five bundle with everything you need to set up, could be cheaper though.

This CanaKit Raspberry Pi 5 Starter MAX Kit is an excellent all‑in‑one bundle that made getting up and running incredibly easy, with the 256GB preloaded Raspberry Pi OS card and included white case, power supply, and cables covering everything I needed in one box. The 8GB of RAM and quad USB ports give it plenty of power and flexibility for multitasking, development, and DIY projects without any noticeable slowdowns. I really appreciate the thoughtful cooling setup with the mega heat sink and PWM fan, which keeps the board running cool and stable during heavier workloads. Overall, it’s a powerful, convenient, and well-designed kit that I’m very happy to have picked up from Best Buy.

I've been using raspberry pi computers since the pi 2, specifically for use in emulation set ups with a classic crt tv. The only downside is the power.... The older systems work great but once you get up in to Dreamcast, PSP, stuff like that, forget it. Since I've packed up the majority of my classic collection due to space, i wanted to be able to flawlessly recreate Dreamcast as well as some of my GameCube and Wii games, and the Pi 5 handles it all no problem when you've overclocked it. Yes i have an asus rog which is also great, but i love the simplicity behind the Pi, and this one, combined with a Sony 27" HD Wega from 2005? Retro gaming heaven. The kit is a huge bonus, and the case does have a fan but i do recommend getting an external usb fan to set on top to help keep things cool. If you haven't dipped your toe into the world of SBCs, this kit is absolutely a perfect starting point, and i think it has the power that it could be a minimalist desktop set up or a travel option. Add to that the fact that the os goes on a micro sd card and you've suddenly got an infinite amount of boot options. Once you also add usb storage OR one of the many, many, many pi hats that do everything from vga output to m2 ssd, cameras, 3d scanner kits, robots, compatibility with Arduino.... This really is an amazing piece of kit that anyone from kids to adults will love. Just be a little patient as it isn't always flawless, but it will help you learn Linux terminal, and the frustration factor is pretty low at this point. Tldr get this, and a good usb controller, legally dump your games, and have a great time!

This CanaKit Raspberry Pi 5 Starter MAX Kit is a fantastic choice for beginners! It comes with everything you need to get started right out of the box—no guesswork or extra shopping required. The included 8GB Raspberry Pi 5 is powerful enough for all sorts of projects, and the case design (Turbine White) looks sleek and runs cool thanks to the fan. The setup was super straightforward, especially for someone new to the Raspberry Pi ecosystem. CanaKit did a great job bundling all the essential components, including the power supply, heatsinks, pre-installed fan, and even a quality SD card. Whether you're learning Linux, setting up a media server, building a NAS, or experimenting with coding and electronics, this kit makes it easy to jump in and start exploring. Highly recommend it for anyone who's curious about Raspberry Pi but doesn't know where to start!

The product is great and more than I expected! Raspberry Pi starter kit is a fantastic value, with excellent functionality for a wide range of tasks, including Atari and N64 compatibility. The kit contains everything needed, is incredibly easy to set up, and comes with good instructions.

CanaKit nailed it with the Raspberry Pi 5 Starter Max Kit. The 8GB RAM makes multitasking and heavier projects like emulation, home automation, or even basic AI feel smooth and snappy. But the real win here? Everything you need is in the box—heatsinks, fan, power supply, case, SD card, cables—you name it. Setup was super easy, and I was up and tinkering in minutes. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned maker, this kit is the perfect launchpad for creative, nerdy brilliance.

I recently purchased the Cana Kit Raspberry Pi 5 from Best Buy, and I'm thoroughly impressed! As someone with basic computer knowledge, I was hesitant at first, but the user-friendly interface and setup process quickly put me at ease. The Raspberry Pi 5 came with everything I needed, including all the necessary wires and an SD card with the Raspberry Pi operating system pre-installed. It was truly plug-and-play! I simply inserted the SD card, and it was up and running. I'm loving the endless possibilities this mini PC offers. With some basic research, I've been able to explore various projects and applications. Don't be intimidated if you're new to computing – the Raspberry Pi 5 is incredibly accessible. At an affordable price point, I highly recommend the Raspberry Pi 5 to anyone looking for a fun and versatile mini PC. Don't hesitate; go get yourself a Raspberry Pi 5 and start exploring the world of possibilities! Thanks, Best Buy, for offering this amazing product!

Bought this to run Home Assistant OS and it’s working great. Assembly was easy with the video. Would definitely get another one of these whenever needed.

I needed a computer just for viewing content on my TV. Maybe buying the 5 for that purpose was an overkill but it was just a few more dollars than previous models. Works very good Recommend!

Powerful little computer does exactly what I wanted out of it. The USB ports can be difficult to plug devices into as the connecting will flex as you push. I am definitely concerned this will break if plugged into often.

Great package, price is a little high I think though. This has worked great for me to use as an SDR host for my Ham radio use with an SDR Play device. Setup was easy and the accessories are all there for you to complete a working project with little issues.

I easily put it together and, instead of using their preinstalled sim, i bought a blank one and installed ubuntu server. From there i installed Wireguard. Punched a hole to the udp vpn port i created and, BAM!, I'm in the vpn business for my family. From that i can rdesktop to any computer on my lan. Nice job Raspberry Pi 5!!!

[Employee of bestbuy] These are pretty good. I've bought 2 so far and they've been nice for the little projects I've made
