Tony Todd is absolutely scary I mean this is one of the best horrors ever. Plus bonus points for taking place in Chicago. The movie has this Erie feeling once you pop it in and you feel a rush of anxiety while watching this movie. I highly recommend it.

I love Tony Todd as Candyman. Definitely a scary movie. Don't say he's name in the mirror 5 times.

Candyman was one of those movies that flew under the radar when it was released but its cult status has grown as time has moved on. It’s storyline is based on the scary stories we would share as kids where we dare each other to say a name in a mirror and we would await what happens. It is an awesome movie that was based in the Cabrini Green housing community in Chicago where the cast say Candyman’s name and he comes to collect. Tony Todd was made for horror and the Candyman character has become iconic. It spawned 2 sequels that were blah and now Jordan Peele of Get Out and Us fame is continuing the story in a future movie. See where it all started, but don’t say his name.

Saw this movie for the first time in its entierty! I was a kid and my dad saw this movie several times but i only saw bits and pieces. Now I finally see it! This movie is a mixture of a freddy krueger meets bloody mary and very mature in the subject matter and smarter in telling the story and a bit of a slow burn in telling the story. Good movie and for the price you get plenty of features, this bluray looks really good!

This is a movie that has aged well throughout the years. Candyman has been the most well known urban legend since I was a kid. Knowing that Clive Barker is the both the writer and executive producer of this movie made me appreciate it even more. I recommend this movie.

Candyman is a classic horror film, with the new restoration this Blu-ray gives it a great new viewing experience. This collector's edition is put together really well. With tons of bonus features, and the reversible slip cover is also a nice touch.

A classic and a must own for horror fans. Presented for the first time in HD and was a really good quality transfer. Keep in mind that the movie was shot on a shoestring budget and didn't exactly have the best cameras.

an effectively gut-wrenching psychological chiller. Tony Todd is great as the ghoul who terrorizes the lovely Virginia Madsen. A under rated halloween classic. The only thing missing is Michael Madsen.

The movie is beautifully transferred to the blu ray format. I watched it on my 50’ tv and it was engrossing. I watched it again via projector and it was better than a cinema.

One of the best horror films of the 20th century, hands down. Tony Todd was SO good as the titular "Candyman", such a creepy presence and excellent vocal performance.

Shout Factory does it again! Another classic done right. Love Tony Todd in this. Transfer is improved versus precious releases. Can't go wrong with this purchase.

A movie that takes a simple premise and runs with it throughout its showtime though becoming increasingly ridiculous as things progress.
