It is black ink. In a manufacturer's cartridge. It had better work out of the package. And it did. As described. Price was OK. Needed it in a rush and it was in stock, which was also a plus.

I bought this product as a replacement for the original. It has been a few weeks now and it's moving down slowly. I think it is good value for money. Don't have a problem with this product.
