I had very hard time using the 28 as a portrait lens

I bought this lens for my Canon Rebel EOS T2i which is a few years old. I was hoping for a wider angle capability, but after receiving it and trying it on the camera, it turned out that I actually had a wider angle capability on one of my existing lenses, so returned to a Best Buy store for a full refund. However, I did notice that this lens was a snugger fit than the original lenses I purchased with my camera, and preferred the smoother mounting and click in so you know it's locked in place. It may fit other cameras better, but I would not recommend this lens for the T2i.

This is my favorite lens to use. I'm absolutely in love with it and find it challenging to get myself to switch it up with my other lenses
