This is a great replacement camera for my old Rebel. 3 times the resolution of my old camera. Pictures are incredibly clear and sharp. I am glad I picked this one works great with my Tamron 28-300 lens. Price makes this best bang for the buck.

I love it even though I am still getting use to it. I love the action shots and using the many features that it has. Still trying to learn them all, but that's what the instruction manual and friends are for.

I have owned 3 Nikon cameras (2 Digital & 1 film) & 1 Pentax K1000 manual film camera. After reading the reviews I wanted to try a Canon. I put the camera in auto mode and took it to Long Branch to shoot some pictures. I took 6 pictures. 2 in daylight & 4 at night and ALL of them came out so bright and clear that I'm framing them!!! The optics are SUPERB, especially for a camera in that price category. I find I prefer the Canon over my more expensive Nikons. I LOVE this camera. It is lightweight, easy to use out of the box, great price and makes just about anything look good!!. I would definitely recommend this camera.

This camera is a great starter camera. It is extremely easy to use (instructions are very easy to follow), lightweight, and takes great pictures. The battery lasts awhile before having to recharge which I greatly appreciate!

The camera is easy to use and takes excellent pictures. It is lighter in weight then older models. The dial for settings( auto, close up etc) move easily and should be checked Periodicaly to ensure it is on the correct setting. I have use most of the settings and have had no problems getting the results I was looking for.

So my wife is a photographer and has used canon cameras for years. When i was looking to purchase a camera to use for work this is one that she immediately recommended that wouldn't cost a lot but still be a good entry level camera. Affter having used it now for a few months I can say that I am glad that I purchased it. The pictures are cleear and of a good quality which is what I was looking for. This camera will not have any of the features that would be foud on more expensive DSLRs but if you are looking for a good entry level starter camera and your first DSLR I would highly recommend this one.

I am not looking to be a professional photographer, but I wanted a nice camera for traveling, family photos, etc. This camera is perfect! I have never had a camera like this before, and it was easy to understand and use. I highly recommend this camera to beginners like me. It takes wonderful and clear photos, and has tons of great settings to make photo-taking easier. Definitely worth 5 stars!

I bought the Canon Rebel T5 as a long over due replacement to my Canon Rebel XT. I have rheumatoid arthritis so the weight of this camera was very important to me. I'v been very happy with image quality and ease of use of this version of the Rebel.

This Camera Is Great For Photos And Videos. I Record A Lot Of Music Videos And The Quality Is Crystal Clear! If You're Looking For A Great Camera For An Awesome Price Then This Camera Is For You! I Do Suggest To Buy The Package To Where You Get 2 Lenses. I Only Purchesed The Camera With The One Lens And I Wish I Would Have Gotten Both. But Either Way, Great Camera! I Love It And You Will Too!

An avid photographer, I lived through years of second -hand, a.k.a. cheap, cameras before I happened upon the awesome price on the camera of my dreams...the Canon eos rebel t5. Easy enough to use that I don't have to spend years in camera college, yet sophisticated enough to produce professional grade, extraordinary photos.I spent years dreaming of this model...now, I wonder how I waited that long!

I purchased this to give my daughter, she absolutely loves it.. I was unsure if it was too much camera for a beginner, and I can now say that those concerns are completely over. She has joined us at a local park to photograph my wife's aging mother and I honestly didn't expect great results from a beginner, with an unfamiliar camera. Wow!! I was so wrong. She nailed it. I began to think she was just born with a good eye for photography, but my wife took some shots of my daughter while we were there, she had "No Idea" how to operate it and took some of the best shots of the day. The camera is a breeze to use, the auto-focus it amazingly fast and clear. Not often have I been so pleased to have invested money in anything. I will soon purchase one of this particular model for my wife. I wish I had more to say about the technical side of this awesome camera, but I don't know that much about cameras.

I upgraded from a Canon Rebel xsi that I got in 2008, deciding I deserved a new one finally. I'm mostly a scenic photographer, but I'm also getting into small portrait sessions. This is a great camera for a beginning/intermediate or somebody looking to branch out a little bit. Great functionality, easy to use, high quality results!

This camera was recommended to me by many friends who were making the switch from more simple point and shoot digital cameras to DSLR, and I'm glad it was. Easy to get the hang of, but it has a lot of features that you'll be able to take advantage of as your knowledge and skill set grow. Takes beautiful photos.

I bought this as my first DSLR camera and haven't picked up my point and shoot since! It takes fantastic photos and with all the preprogrammed settings I can capture great shots right from the start while I'm still learning how to do more creative manual shooting. I also purchased a telephoto lens which is great for shooting sporting events.

I am not Professional photographer but i like to take pics... I did little search before i purchased this camera to compare with other good brand in market. This os way better than others for beginners. Pics are cool and you don't have to be expert. Price is very good compare to other DSLRs. I recommend this for any beginner.

I've had this camera for about a month now. This is my first DSLR camera so I am by no means a pro, but I have enjoyed the camera so far. We just added a little one to our family so a nice camera was a must and this one has not disappointed. It was so easy to learn to use and it takes great pictures.
