Excellent Camera for anyone
I purchased this camera to replace my old Canon XSi because I wanted an updated camera to take with me on my two week African safari trip. I wanted a camera that could take video as well as excellent pictures. I also chose the 18-135MM lens so I wouldn't have to keep changing between the standard 18-55MM lens and a telephoto lens. The 18-135MM provided the range I needed for the vast majority of my safari pictures and videos from wide angle to a modest zoom. There is a modest learning curve to figure out all of the features available with this camera. I especially like the touch screen to change many of the settings. I am very pleased with this camera and would highly recommend it.

Happy customer
I've been very happy with the purchase of the Canon T6i. The camera has excellent image quality, a good menu system, and all the options and features you could need. I'm very happy with the results I've been getting with the 18-135mm lens. It's great for long or short distances and performs well through this range. The combination of the lens and this body is working out well for me. Best Buy delivered on time and offered an extended warranty for the holidays. Job well done.

Great Upgrade
I would consider myself an advanced hobbyist photographer. The Rebel line suits my needs perfectly -- high quality photographs and affordability. I have been shooting with the t2i (which I have really enjoyed) for a number of years. During that time, I have kept track of Canon's upgrades in the Rebel line. This is the first camera I considered as having enough upgrades to put out the money for a new SLR camera. I am soooo happy with my new t6i. The high number of pixels make the shots extremely sharp. It performed well under poor lighting without a flash. I decided to pay a little bit more and get the package that included the 18-135mm lens. Good savings if you need that lens. Bottom line -- GREAT UPGRADE!!! One teeny tiny disappointment, and this is no reflection on the camera. There is no app to link the camera to a Windows phone. Phone's fault, not the camera's fault. Has anybody out there found a work-around?

Definitely a step up from t5i
Faster focus, better response, sharper images, more focus points, less noise on darker images. The list goes on and on but definitely worth the additional cash for a better investment.
