Got this machine because I got tired of buying pricey ink cartridges that dry up in a few months since I don't print much. happy with the printer, fast and quiet. The instructions for wireless connecting could be made clearer specially for Apple products.

Purchased this Canon Laser Printer seventeen months ago to save on ink costs and have not yet replaced the black ink. Yes, colors are pretty but not a necessity for me. I just wish it came with a paper manual when I have a question. It was easy to install and connect with WI-FI.

I purchased this Canon printer March 2023. It was our first Canon. It worked great and was very fast. We liked it. In July of this year, it just stopped working. We spent hours trying to get it to work. We found out it was a hardware failure and expensive to repair. We bought a HP printer. I would not buy another Canon.

I have not used it until ink runs out so not sure how much I will find it to be of value. Does not scan on double sided papers so that is a bit of a chore in doing. Imagining and printing along with copying is easy

Very difficult to set up. The cd was not able to load drivers. The wireless printing did not recognize my iPhone.

BestBuy's specs are *wrong*. I bought this printer over other options specifically because BestBuy's website says it has duplex scanning. That is incorrect. It does not have double-sided scanning. Because this was setup for an out-of-state relative, I cannot return this and get a different printer. So I paid for a feature that was not provided. I will avoid purchases from BestBuy, which is a shame because I used to rely on the store a lot.

Shipped with an empty cartridge which is probably standard process but they cost as much as the printer.

It was worth it to get a Canon because they havve the best service I’ve ever experienced. I went from a color printer to B & W and it suits me just fine.

I have installed many printers stand alone and network based for over 25+ years. This was one of the most difficult to install that I have ever encountered. This might be because I was putting it on a WIN 11 machine. I finally got the driver installed but it is a Generic driver from Cannon. Im sure in time they will get it to play with 11. I was able to get the WiFi on my network after a few tries. The documentation made it look like I needed my Router serial # and password. However all I needed was my network Password and it connected without a hitch. The problem Im having now is to figure out how to kick it out of sleep mode. All in all the scanner and feeder seem to work well and the copy functions do a acceptable job. The Scan Utility has many features and it looks like it will be very helpful. Would I get it again. Not sure yet but I'm leaning towards yes.

I used this to do tax work and it would consistently jam up ! It's a piece of crap. second year with it , it made me mad during important long print jobs. The software presented a challenge that I didn't ask for. That's it. Trash! Don't waste your money.

It's very confusing when you have to go to the website and download the print drivers and it took me hours and hours to get the scanner to work correctly. unless you're really highly educated in IT you will have problems with this device
