Ordered the Canon wireless printer, copier and scanner this month. We use our laptop or phone to do any business and wanted to be able to print anywhere in the house. It came with color and black ink cartridges. I was really happy about that because it meant I could start using it immediately, instead of running back to the store.

This is the worst printer I have EVER owned. Purchased this just for a few packing slip prints a month for a small business. This thing EAT’S INK and constantly cycles its self. We are continually waiting for this thing to start up even after adjusting settings. Takes sooo much time to think and print. So here is the end result of my ever owning one of these again. NEVER AGAIN

Was easy to set up. I opted for a wired connection bc I've had connection issues with previous printers and wanted to avoid any issues. Once I realized how quickly this printer burned through ink, I looked to buy a refill. Color ink was backordered at multiple retailers. I brought it online and registered for an ink subscription. That service immediately began to count my prints even though I was using my own ink and hadn't received anything from them. The printer makes so much noise as it prepares to print. It's creaky and loud. Even wired, it lags before it starts printing and just seems slow to get going. I can't get it to print a true black or deep brown image. I tried to print a coffee graphic and a very dark green was the best it could do for black coffee. I'm using matte paper and tried different settings. Greeting card worked better, but it still doesn't look correct. Seems more difficult than necessary. I do like the 2 trays and duplex printing. Alignment was easy bc the printer just ran the paper back through and handled it on its own. Refills being so costly and out of stock seems like a bad sign. I don't want to be forced to subscribe to ink, but this printer really burns through it and a subscription seems necessary. Overall, not happy with this purchase, but not sure there is a better alternative without jumping to a much higher price.

So far it’s been great in terms of it does what I need it to do. My only problem is that in the beginning I had trouble connecting it to my MacBook. I was unable to print wirelessly, and the printer wouldn’t show up in my network. This is the first time I’ve had this problem with a wireless printer. Occasionally, it’ll happen where I have to turn off the printer several times so that it can show up but it’s very rare now. Otherwise it prints nicely.

Easy to set it up. Detailed instructions from the time you plug it in. Prints, copies and scans fine. Good for home use. Not as fast as my prior Canon model. The only negative is that it doesn't have a very strong wifi connection. I had to move the printer closer to the router for it to work faster. My prior 11-year old model even had a stronger connection. Canon customer service was very helpful. For my limited purposes, it works fine.

This printer was perfect for in home use. Very easy to set up. There are only two ink cartridges to deal with. You can print pictures on true quality paper that is so easy to use. It has the capacity to pair up your I phone and print from it also. Quality of printed material is top grade. All in all it is the easiest and most efficient printer I’ve ever used.

Overall the quality of the printing is excellent and the speed is much better than my older Canon. But, the operating sound is louder. And another ding would be the fact that I can not get the printer to default to the main tray. Everytime I print a Word document from Microsoft Office 365 I have to set the printer to main tray versus the rear tray. This may be an easy fix but I have not found it yet.

OMG!!! I have been struggling along for years with an Epson printer that has caused me nothing but heartache. In the first half hour of having this Canon printer, I fell in love. I am 80 years old and the set up was so easy. I had to look online for some questions, but most were answered on setup. The print quality is so much better than I have experiened for years. I have opted for one of the printer ink packages and hope it works out for me. I would enourage people not to buy Epson printers.

But….was hoping for way more from the ink. We don’t use it that much, just for family use and occasional home office. But even then half the ink was gone relatively quickly, was hoping for way more out of the big ink cartridges this thing uses. It uses them just as fast as a cheapo printer. It’s great quality and the WiFi and scanner features are awesome but yeah you’ll burn through ink if you do regular printing

The printer works beautifully. Easy to set up and operate.

I just setup the printer this afternoon, and I have barely used it. However, the wifi setup process is the easiest that I have ever used. The ink cartridge loading is simple. The paper tray is easy to access. The test print pages look great for a printer in this price range. I have not tried the scanner, but if is anything like my experience so far, I will be very pleased.

So far, I love this printer. The quality of the printing is very good. The scan, print and copy are easy to use. I like that the paper tray is in front. And Canon customer service is excellent.

Replaced old Pixma MP-250. It lasted forever. Pixma has come a long way! Wireless all purpose printer/scanner the whole house can use. It was very easy to set up and the price at Best Buy was incredible. Plus great support as a Total Member. Careful though - mistakenly got the TR2070 at first, identical except no page feeder - but BB happily let me trade up no problem

I've had the printer for only a few weeks, and it's worked fine, no complaints at all. Setting up the printer was very easy, and, thank goodness, setting up the wifi was VERY easy. It took me 5-10 minutes.

Received from BB in two days, very quick. There are no cables involved, completely wireless. Easy to follow steps on the printer screen starting up initially. I’m not the quickest with computers but I was printing in a little over five minutes. Copying and scanning quick and easy. Great color and resolution. Have an iMAC and pro lap top.

Setup was ok (not super easy, but I could figure it out). The desktop app is not very easy to navigate. It took me forever to find where to see the job lists (so I could cancel the errored print jobs). I've only printed about 10 pages. No problem yet, but I noticed that the ink levels go down quite fast. I read other reviews about printer head clog, but it hasn't been long since my purchase so I don't know. Propably will update later. I do think it's a bit overpriced.

A snap to install and use. Top-notch print quality. The only knock against it is that the ink cartridges don't last long even with moderate use, and they're not cheap.

Compact and easy to use. Prints quickly and efficiently. My only complaint is that setting it up required a visit to the BB store and my purchasing a cable to connect it directly to my laptop.
