I returned it because really could not get the use case of it. There is nothing wrong with the lens itself, great quality, lightweight, 190 circular fisheye on 7mm and regular fisheye on 14mm. I have a review on YouTube channel cali_bomj, but in short I would say that if you need very wide angle, you can get rf10-20 and it is linear, so there is no distortions there, you won't need to defish. If you want to do VR180, you can do it using 7mm circular fisheye on that lens, but you can also use dual fisheye from canon which is pretty much the same price and it is going to be stereoscopic and way wider support for editing in different software. You won't get advantages of higher resolution per eye anyway. Quality of the image in circular 190 fisheye is good, but not something you would like to magnify and crop. My camera is r5c and it is 45mp, there is nothing with bigger megapixels in Canon, most of the cameras are 24 or 32. If it does not look so great with 45, you bet your picture on any other Canon camera from not r5 series will be even worse. Idk, for me - details are important. I think one beneficial use case is real estate photography where the spaces can be very tiny, but again, I would recommend 10-20 anyway. I set 4 starts just because I have no idea what is the real use case scenario of this lens for 2k that cannot be done with other more distortions free lenses
