I found this gem in a clearance bin while at my local Best Buy store. Brought back a decade old memories. Great movie, excellent location, beautiful cinematography, superb acting, and a very good emotional roller coaster ride story. Five bucks for a Blu-ray was simply too good a deal to pass up. Go dig through your local BB clearance bin and if you find it, buy it.

As a man finds himself alone he must, find within, the will and strength to survive. As he is rescued he disvovers he is still alone and must do it all again. Will he find love? Will he persevere in his new oneness in society? It's a great movie for those of us feeling alone while surrounded by people.

This movie mad me sad. I felt sorry for Tom Hanks being trapped on an Island by himself. I especially cried when he lost Wilson. That was his only friend. I was happy when he got rescued.

Tom Hanks has to carry off a large portion of this film by himself and pulls it off. Memorable performance. Directed by "Forrest Gump" director Robert Zemeckis. Recommended.

Classic movie. Tom Hanks ends up stranded on a deserted island and must over come the odds to return to a normal life, if there is one still waiting for him.

One of my favorite movies! I owned it on DVD in fullscreen and was looking to upgrade. The blu ray looks great, and a great price as well!

This is one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies. Although he's by himself for most of the movies, I still absolutely love it. A great grab at $5!

Let yourself get lost in the location and story , Tom Hanks does his thing and puts together another solid performance.

Classic movie that shows that giving up gets you no more. You must make the best out of any circumstance.
