Although thia product is a solid purchase and install, a similar product half the cost is on amazon so I would rather buy it there

This is the mount. Really flexible and easy to install. More than enough strength and stability.

This worked great for my Sony projector. Make sure you get the pole that is made for this projector also

I used this product to ceiling mount my Sony 365ES projector (triangular screw pattern). My former ceiling mount which hung an Epson 5040ub was incompatible since the Sony has triangular pattern for 3 screws as opposed to Epson 4 screw setup.

it is a solid, well built mount. However, it isn't exactly universal. My GeekSquad installer had to make some adjustments in the field.

Just make sure when you are building this you order all the pieces.
