A: I have a cheap Cobra radar detector just like the one shown here and it works really good, if you're passing your local 7-Eleven and the tones going off for the automatic door opener it automatically gets superseded by the KA band if there's a highway patrol trying to get your speed.... I've had my ka band go off several miles out ahead of me while the highway patrol was behind the semi truck up over a hill, these work better than people give them credit for.

A: Hi. This detector comes complete with a power cord for the lighter and a windshield cup mount. (the cord is not a charger, per se, as the detector must be plugged into power to operate). Thanks!

Been using it since September. When there are drastic temperature changes overnight the suction cups give up and throw it on the floor. Not impressed with the mounting. Volume is weird. It randomly cuts out or sounds muffled after alerting most times but occasionally stays at a consistent volume. Several false alerts from courtesy speed indicator signs, passing by storefronts, and some led headlights. Overall is accurate detecting parked roadside and highway traveling vehicles doing radar.

Small and Sleek
So far, it detects signals super fast. I love how it looks. It’s simple as can be to attach and start using. Extremely user friendly. Cops are out like crazy for the holiday season and I want to be able to buy gifts instead of pay tickets. Get one and become a more confident driver!
