Cobra radar retentor not up to standard

The overall product is not up to my satisfactory. The speakers intermittently work, and the power seems to go in and out as if it has a mind of its own. Please help me with anything that I may potentially doing wrong so that I may get the full potential of the product I purchased

All of the descriptions of features about avoiding false alarms this will beep just about anywhere once after first week of purchase the screen when blank I just heard the beep then unplug it for the night and a came back on but what if I was on the target I drive every day that’s why i need it

Detects from an alright distance. By no means would I say it’s an extended range, especially compared to any other radar detectors I’ve used in the past. My main issue aside from the false alerts would have to be that it’s supposed to block out/eliminate blind spot mirrors and vehicle avoidance systems. This is not the case and quite the opposite in my experience. It’s been tested in a 2017 Honda Civic equipped with auto braking/lane keep assist and all I can say is I’m almost positive most of the false alerts I’m getting are from my car. Have a photo that I took from the app showing nearly 10 readings in a mile distance before arriving to my destination the other night. Will try in one of my other vehicles but as the Honda is the only vehicle I take on road trips this is upsetting. One of the main reasons I purchased this radar was to use on road trips in the Honda, which I believe is useless. Unfortunately, don’t suggest anyone spend hard earned money on this piece of garbage until they update firmware or figure something else out. Even if you don’t have a newer car changes are you’ll pass one when driving. Maybe you won’t continuously have the thing alerted you down the road but spend the extra money and get one that works.
