Collateral - 4K Blu-Ray [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray]

Best Michael Mann film since The Insider and Heat. Wish he'd return to more crime-noirish stuff that put him on the map. Solid 4K transfer too

On my opinion, this is easily Michael Manns best film, and the 4K format does it great justice. The LA city lights are bright and colorful in HDR, cutting through the darkness and gritty city streets. Tom Cruis gives one of the best performances of his career, with Jamie Foxx performing along side him just as strong, albeit in different ways. The one superficial gripe I have with this is how the cover art is printed. The case already says "4K ultra HD" along the top of the hard plastic, yet they chose to put a banner along the top of the print, repeating that exact same thing. An odd blemish on an otherwise perfect release, but if you're fortunate enough to find a copy with the slipcover them that will at least hide it. But if you don't care too much about packaging then it won't affect you. IMAGE FOUND ON GOOGLE IMAGES

This is an excellent 4K movie. The visual effects will impress any enthusiastic movie aficionados. The story is well written, and the actors are best of the best, in every scene.This will easily go in the collection, of great movies. Thank you Best Buy.

Collateral is Michael Mann at his best and Tom Cruise in a role like never before. Add in a great performance by Jamie Fox and this is an all timer.

I truly enjoyed this movie. Wonderful plot and very well written. If your into action and suspense this is the movie for you!
