Compustar Q 9 upgrade
The compustar alarm upgrade with drone mobile is a great system that tracks your car and offers a great option for a remote start and alarm system combo. I do have a couple issues with this unit though number one is the remote. there is no case available and the screen has a glass window, can you see where I'm going with this. I keep my keys on my belt hoop and when I sat down I apparently sat on the remote and the screen went dead. The remote itself still works but you can't see anything on the screen so I took it back to Best buy. since I have the total protection plan I figured it would be warrantied. Well it wasn't, just my luck, this is one of just several items that best buy sells that are not warrantied under the total tech program. Which by the way cost me $200 a year and can be a cool thing if you shop at Best buy alot. So, I asked if I could purchase another remote but was told they don't have any replacements yet because the unit is so new. I did find one on the trusty Amazon site for $58 and only a soft case. nothing that is going to protect the screen from breaking again. The other issue I have is that you need your fob to drive the car,if you need a fob like I do and the alarm fob for the alarm. You would think they would be able to combine the two together in one fob because I find this very irritating having to have two remotes. So there you have it. I think that it is a great system but something needs to be done to protect the fob and to combine the two technologies together so that we only are required to have one fob for everything.
