Screen recording was good. Overall simple editing software but worked really well. Able to make YouTube videos with x9. But if you intend to use other languages besides English, x9 won't work. X10 is the same thing. Won't work with titles, subtitles... Basically everything. Hence 1 start off.

I purchased Corel Videostudio Ultimate X9 after being satisfied with Corel Draw. While I never had problems with Draw, Videostudio would crash randomly. Sometimes, I could work for a couple hours with no issues, other times it would crash after just minutes. The program could be restarted without issue, but was a headache. I quickly learned to save my file after ANY edit was made. One day, Videostudio would not even open at all and would time out after several minutes of the splash screen being displayed on the desktop. Yes, I contacted Corel support through chat...tech support is only available though email (crazy), so they finally contacted me after two days. In the meantime, after reading through tons of forums and uninstalling, reinstalling (didn't work), I finally found a post with a suggestion that worked...DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET WHEN USING VIDEOSTUDIO. This worked! I'm not sure if Corel fixed the problem (seems to have happened a couple of times in the past few months), but I just disconnect from the internet anytime I use the software and have not had a single crash since. The software is easy enough to use and there are lots of tutorials available to help with editing video.

this software has a very user friendly interface and is fairly easy to use. the interface is similar to the older pinnacle software which was very user friendly and i miss it, that's why i bought this software.

Decided to give the trial version a tried an ended up loving it. Great and easy to use software. Love the multicam editor.

Software is a little complicated for someone with minimal video editing experience. But tons of instructional videos. It's does exactly what I want it to.

I've been using VideoStudio for several years and enjoy the ease of learning on it. This new version renders the video FAST compared to my earlier versions. There are to many features to learn all at once but the company has made learning them extremely easy when you are ready to explore.

I received this as a gift so I can do highlight videos of my son to send to recruiters. Not an easy program to use and frustrating. I am not tech savy so that is a huge problem. If I figure it out, I assume it will do everything I need it to

Lots of creative features that are easy and fun to use. Lots of support online. I film how-to videos for an online art retreat and have filmed three so far.

Very good value, easy to use. I am good with taking photos and videos and this makes it easy to edit and put together.

video creation is too complex and instructions are hard to follow

I think I've been in video production too long, this is advertised as a full editing program. Sorry to say it comes up short in way too many areas to describe. You can't multi layer audio, graphics and control there detail. 6 rendering options, only two have decent codecs. For a beginner this is OK. For professional use. No Way
