To preface with a few things, I mostly use this for voice chatting with friends, and recording audio for projects. I didn't necessarily use this for gaming, but I can't see why my experience with it wouldn't apply the same way to using it for that as well. Additionally, I came from a Blue Snowball. Not a particularly nice microphone. I've used Corsair peripherals for years now, and I think they've had their ups and downs. Usually, you've got a great product that has a few problematic design quirks, or a great product that is bogged down by dreadful, awful, useless software. I was a bit concerned that this microphone would follow suit, but I've been pleasantly surprised. To begin with, this thing feels sturdy, rugged. Everything from the perforated body to the stabilizer portion is robust. I'm not worried about knocking it over or bumping into it and breaking something. It's fantastic. The included stand, made of solid metal, certainly helps with that impression too. Instructions are included in the form of a QR code. It's not my favorite, as I tend to prefer a physical manual that I know I'll have as long as I keep it somewhere I'll remember it, but the manual does a great job of explaining everything. It tells you what each button and port and knob does, it tells you how to access different functions - including flipping the screen upside down, in case you mount it on an arm where it's inverted. They really made me feel like I understand exactly how to use this thing, which is a huge plus. The sound quality, of course, is excellent. A little too good, in my case, as my friends have all reported that the echo in my room they couldn't hear before is clear, and a little annoying. I've reduced the gain, and purchased a boom arm to move it away from my wall, but still. I've also used the microphone for recording audio. It's crisp and clear, and captures the full gamut of my voice in amazing detail. I love the mute switch being a capacitive touch button at the top, and that it turns off the light and activates a red ring, so it's clear when I've muted. No longer will I accidentally talk for several minutes, only to find that my friends couldn't have possibly heard me, because I forgot to unmute. It's convenient, and easy to read, which is a massive plus. The main thing I was concerned about with this microphone is software. Corsair is great, but man, you've always got to download ICue, and deal with that disaster of software, right? Wrong. Not only is this microphone plug-and-play, you can access a few different lighting options just through using the knob on the back (although I wish there were more variety built in). Further, you don't need to use iCue if you want to adjust the microphone more to your liking, or update the firmware. Instead of anything made by Corsair themselves, you download Elgato Wave Link 3 and set it up there. The instructions, of course, also include a comprehensive guide on how to do this, and what kinds of settings you can adjust, as well as how to adjust them. I haven't done it yet, as I prefer to just plug and play when possible, but I'm very happy that it's an option. The lights on this are bright and vibrant, which is great, but it may not be what everyone's looking for. You'll need to download the software if you want to turn it off or make the static color something other than red. Mildly obnoxious, but there's only so much they could do with the built in controls. It's not a huge deal. This thing is stylish, it's excellent at what it does, it has amazing features, and it feels like it's built to last. If you're looking for a premium gaming microphone, or something for podcasting, basic audio recording for music or the like, you can't go wrong with this. Highly recommended.

USB microphones are closing in in quality. *****PROS***** - Plug and play - USB C port - Easy to use software - Customizable lighting - Built in controls - Built in display - Shock absorbent mount - High quality finish and material - High quality voice capture - Great noise reduction technology - Tactile mute button *****CONS***** I will say I am very impressed with the quality the Corsair Voxara brings to the table. After using some XLR microphones and dabbling into soundboards here and there, I will say I am impressed on how the software for this microphone is able to accomplish something closely similar. Right out of the box all I had to do was plug the mic in and start speaking in game. There are few things one can tweak through El gato wavelength, but nothing too different from what you can do on the built in menu. Don’t get me started on the quality of the mic. From the base, mount, to the shell everything feels premium and solid. The design on the capsule is fine, it’s different, and not in a bad way. Light customization is simple and done through the Icue app, some can also be done through the Wavelength app but if you really want to match the rest of your set up, icue will be the place. I personally would of like for everything to be under one application but I personally chose one color and call it a day. On the top you do get a haptic mute button, so if you want to mute yourself quickly, you can just tap the top once. Voice in general is crisp, the AI does help filtering out noises but could conflict with other software that does the same if you are using any. Overall it’s a great easy to use, no high learning curve mic that I would recommend

What a stunning microphone! It’s robust and vibrant. It resembles something that you might see professionals using on television. More importantly, it’s truly a plug-and-play device. There’s no need to download any software or make any adjustments. It’s completely customizable to your liking. It will work immediately with any compatible computer that has a connection for a USB microphone. For gamers, Corsair produces exceptional products with fantastic colors. Your gaming setup will look striking and impressive to anyone who sees it, and you'll appreciate the option to change colors on your microphone, just like your Corsair keyboard. You can use it because it is compatible with Elgato. specialized keyboards with additional functions to alter the unit's colors or wave patterns. It functions equally effectively. with desktop computers, laptops, and netbooks—even the outdated ones I still use. The response time is outstanding. There is absolutely no delay. No need to install any drivers. comprehension problems. A Joy for action gamers, virtual reality and zoom. It possesses both hardware and software control, allowing you to manually activate and deactivate buttons. You can use a volume knob to adjust the volume. It is fully mounted and loaded, sturdy, and simple to operate. There’s really nothing bad to say about it. I only encountered one issue when I plugged it into a dedicated keyboard/mouse USB-A port on an old computer that is not properly powered. It did not light up in beautiful colors.

SETUP / INSTALLATION The installation was very simple. It genuinely was plug and play, not plug, troubleshoot, and play. The microphone was instantly recognized, and I did not have to fight with the computer to get it working. The Wave Link software also made the setup process easier. It allowed some customization, walked me through the microphone use, explained the buttons, and showed the available options. The firmware update was simple and brought the microphone up to date fairly quickly. For someone who does not want to spend a lot of time messing with settings, this was a very smooth setup process. BUILD / FEEL The build quality is very solid. It does not feel cheap at all, and there is a good weight to it. The microphone feels like a quality product when you handle it. The mic does not wobble or shift when it's adjusted and tightened in position. The included stand also has a small footprint, which I appreciate. It does not take up much space on the desk and can be placed out of the way without making the setup feel cluttered. The RGB is very bright and entertaining, but it is also useful. I am using the meter option, which shows the recording level and helps you know if you are too loud. That is a nice feature because it gives you quick visual feedback while recording without having to look through level settings. VOICE QUALITY The voice recording sounds very full and natural. It sounds like me, a clear and clean quality recording. That is important because some microphones can make your voice sound too processed or unnatural. The AI Voice Focus feature does a nice job dampening background noise. It helped reduce other noises in the room and kept the recording focused on my voice. I have the computer near the furnace and when it kicks on it creates a whirring that can usually be heard but not anymore with the AI focus enabled. I used it for a school assignment, and the recording sounded clear and crisp. For voice-only work, podcast-style recording, dictation, or assignments, this microphone provides a much better result than a basic headset microphone. GAMING / STREAMING I used the MIC for gaming COD, campaign mode. The conversation between myself and the other players is pretty good and I can tell my voice sounds pretty clear to the other players. It also works for everyday dictation, podcast recording, voiceovers, or schoolwork. This microphone provides a professional feel and result. It makes the setup feel serious without being difficult to use. You do not need to be an audio expert to get a good recording out of it, which is one of the things I like most. For streamers, podcast users, or anyone trying to improve their voice recording quality, this microphone makes sense. CONTROLS The controls are easy to use and placed well. The mute button is very convenient. It is easy to tap quickly, which helps if some unexpected noise breaks out and you want to silence the microphone right away. The RGB selector button is also easy to locate while recording and adjusting settings. The selector wheel to adjust the gain is simple to use, and the display helps show the level being used. I like that you can make quick adjustments without feeling like you have to open software every time. That makes the microphone more practical for everyday use. SOFTWARE Wave Link is useful and easy to understand. It provides a nice clear-cut service without overwhelming you with too many confusing options. Some software tries to do too much and ends up making things harder than they need to be. This felt more straightforward. For a novice like myself, the ease of adjusting settings was refreshing. It gives you enough control to improve the microphone setup without making it feel like you need to know professional audio terms. I really have not experienced a negative so far. It has been easy to set up, fun to use, and it stays out of the way because of the small footprint. If anything, someone who wants a more advanced professional studio setup may eventually want extra accessories like a boom arm or pop filter, but for what comes in the box, the microphone has worked very well for me. Overall, the Corsair VOXARA USB Gaming Condenser Microphone is an awesome microphone with plenty of room for you to grow.

The Voxara is Corsair’s new premium standalone USB condenser microphone with gaming aesthetics and compatibility with Elgato Wave Link customization software. The build quality is excellent. The microphone feels premium and sits securely on its included aluminum stand that can tilt and rotate. Its suspended design minimizes vibrations and other unwanted noise from your desk. The stand is optional, allowing you to use it with a boom arm if you wish. The audio quality is as impressive as the build quality. My friends have had no trouble hearing me clearly during gaming sessions. I also played some Fortnite with my son while he used the mic so I could hear what it sounds like and he was crystal clear. The microphone features a cardioid polar pattern, meaning it primarily picks up the sound directly in front of it while minimizing noise from the rear or sides, which helps in isolating just your voice. The high-resolution audio engine delivers detailed, natural sounding vocals. While I’m not a podcaster or streamer, my voice sounded as good as I’ve ever heard it. I’d be very comfortable using this microphone to record a podcast or gaming session. One of my favorite features is RGB lighting, which envelops nearly the entire microphone. It looks fantastic, especially when the microphone is visible on camera. I really like the large tap-to-mute button. The microphone features a large red ring around it when muted, making it immediately obvious when the microphone has been muted. For software, Corsair provides the Elgato Wave Link application. While the microphone can technically function without it, you will want to install it at least once to get firmware updates for your device and to enable additional features such as lighting customization. My favorite RGB lighting pattern is the Level Meter effect, which provides a real-time visualization of the audio level. In my testing, a particularly useful feature is Voice Focus, which uses AI to provide noise reduction capabilities. I was impressed that it could remove all of the creaks and squeaks as I wiggled in my chair, as well as the noise from a box fan I had running on the other side of the room. The Voxara also has a convenient control wheel that lets you adjust the gain, sidetone, or audio monitoring volume. The built-in OLED display keeps you informed of the current settings, allowing you to make quick adjustments without using the Wave Link software. Pros: - Excellent build quality - Stable adjustable stand - 32-bit 192 kHz audio recording - 25mm cardioid condenser - Voice Focus AI noise reduction - RGB lighting and OLED monitoring screen - Large tap-to-mute button with a clear visual status - 3.5mm headphone jack for audio monitoring - Windows and macOS compatibility - Access to additional effects on Wave Link marketplace - 2-year warranty Cons: - None so far Overall – I’ve been highly impressed with the Corsair Voxara. It offers a compelling combination of performance and features. It works exceptionally well for everyday gaming and voice chat but can also serve as a high-quality microphone for streamers, podcasting, and content creation.

From box to using the microphone you only need to remove it from the box and plug it in using the lengthy USB C to A cable and you’re immediately using a studio quality microphone. However, you’ll find that you get more out of this if you also download the wave link app. The Voxara has a modern design with built in pop filter and shock mount. The pop filter heavily reduces harsh “p” and “s” sounds while allowing the RGB to shine through. The shock mount acts as a dampener to absorb sounds coming from the desk or mount arm. The base has a touch of chrome which looks really nice with the black and has plenty of weight to it to keep it from sliding around on the desk. Setup is easy. You can get started by just plugging it in and making sure you’ve selected it as your main sound input device. Downloading the Wave Link app allows you extra customizations and AI features. There’s a guided setup wizard that walks you through setup, helping you set the gain, voice monitoring, and lighting effects. I did a few different tests to get feedback on my own voice. I ran a voice recording app that allowed me to record myself and play back the recording. There’s also a similar feature built into the Wave Link app, so you don’t necessarily need to have different software, but I was able to get the distance and gain to my liking. Then to get some honest feedback, I called my wife from my PC who found that using the Voice Focus software effect really made a difference when it came to hearing feedback of her own voice, as I use desktop speakers for audio. She had no issues hearing me on the other side, coming through loud and clear. You can control a lot of the microphone from the mic itself. The wheel on the front will allow you to adjust gain, monitor volume, and how much of your voice you can hear vs system volume through headphones. Pressing the wheel will allow you to cycle between the settings. The top of the mic has a capacitive mute button, allowing you to mute the mic with a touch. I really like this, because aside from gaming, I use my setup for work, making coming on and off mute as simple as touch the mic, never having to hunt for a mute button on screen or keyboard again. There’s a knob on the back of the mic that will allow you to cycle through different RGB options. I’m a fan of the rainbow color cycle and the Level meter. You can customize speed and colors in the Wave Link app for some of the different RGB presets. Because this is a cardioid polar pattern you do have to have the front of the microphone pointed in the direction of the sound. This type of microphone ensures you’re only grabbing sound from the direction you want. This is great if you’re using this as a dedicated microphone for you while you’re at the desk. It helps ensure you’re not picking up ambient noise that is around the room. However, I wouldn’t recommend this if you wanted multiple users using the same microphone. I think this is easily a top choice if you’re a gamer or streamer. The RGB, easy and quick mute button, along with great build and design make it an easy off the shelf choice.

The Corsair Voxara is a very flashy desktop condenser mic that is great for people wanting a little flashier of a look and something better than a boom mic you get on most gaming headsets. The mic is extremely straightforward to setup, has lots of lighting options for those crazy about RGB, and the sound quality, after some tweaking, can be pretty decent. Pros - Looks great - Easy Setup - Physical Controls Cons - Sound quality can be bad if you don't mess with it Build quality of the mic is pretty great with majority of the body being made of metal and the bottom has a nice weight to it to keep it nice and stable on your desk. I wish the knobs that held the mic in place were adjustable tension on it, but they aren't. It features two dials on the mic for controlling settings like mic volume and RGB modes. On the top of the mic is a mute button so you can quickly tap it if you need to silence the mic. This will trigger a mic mute ring to light up, giving you a visual indicator that the mic is muted. On the front of the mic is a small OLED display that typically shows you the gain level of the mic, which is a neat feature to include with the gain dial. Finally there is a 3.5mm jack to plug in a physical headset as well as a USB-C charging port (and included cable). The mode button on the Microphone lets you cycle through gain, headset volume and balance, which is incredibly handy for those using a headset plugged in to it, though I was using an external wireless headset. The software for the Mic I feel is very needed. When I attempted to use the Microphone without following the proper setup, the gain was just through the roof and people complain about how bad it sounded. Following the instructions through the software allowed me to set the approriate gain for the distance at which I had the Mic. It is suggested 6-8in but that is simply too close for my setup, and I was able to tune it so it was much better. The software itself is pretty bare bones. You can control some audio effects, lighting, and an ai acoustic noise cancellation that I thought worked moderately well. I ended up in the end switching back to the Nvidia broadcast software I was using as it seemed to be better. Overall, a great microphone that will impress all your gamer friends while also, with the proper setup, sound better than a boom microphone.

The CORSAIR - VOXARA USB Gaming Condenser Microphone is impressive. At its core, it is a solid condenser microphone with a large capsule and studio specs (High-Resolution 32-bit / 192kHz Audio Engine). But, with all the additional features it offers, it feels like so much more. * Comes with a solid stand, shock mounting and built-in pop filter. * Connects via USB with included cable and is ready to go immediately * Nice on-mic lighting that can be customized in countless ways. I like the setting that makes the mic lights act as a signal meter. * The Voxara works seamlessly with Elgato’s excellent WaveLink software, which is the way to access many of the advanced features, voice filters and effects, and impressive multi-channel signal routing options. There are unlimited filters available via free and paid sources. * Voice Focus does a great job of removing background sounds. * The on-mic controls are like having a mini mixer at your fingertips: touch the mic top for mute, plug your headphones directly into the mic, change lighting schemes with an on-mic dial, and adjust volume and levels of mic | headphones | input via the multifunctional click and scroll wheel (also on the mic). * A small, but readable, OLED screen confirms your actions (also on the mic). I set up my CORSAIR - VOXARA quickly and easily with the Elgato WaveLink software and then brought that into OBS for streaming and recording. I was recording in no time. It all worked flawlessly. Once set up, there are unlimited ways of customizing your mix, sound, sources, filters, and so much more. As I’ve only had the mic for a few days, I’ve only begun to tweak the settings. But I’m so pleased with the sound already - and look forward to refining it further. I should probably mention that this whole set up is great for regular podcasting and streaming, not just gameplay (since Corsair’s advertising focuses almost exclusively on it’s use for gaming environments). Bottom line: This is a truly impressive mic with a total package that offers no limitations. Definitely recommend the CORSAIR - VOXARA.

I am not a streamer or content creator, but I have always wanted a quality microphone that would let me get away from gaming headsets. Modern headsets have much improved mic quality vs. years ago, but I have always preferred to game with specific headphones. The problem I had, is if I gamed with my favorite audiophile headphones, I did not have a mic to use with Discord. Previous standalone microphones I tried in the past ended up getting returned. Too much background noise, too complicated to set up, friends can hear my keyboard keys. It just wasn't a good experience for me in the past. This Voxara mic has been awesome so far. Set up is quick and easy, and the software has built in voice isolation that can be enabled and adjusted. I didn't have to spend a long time getting settings like gain dialed in. I turned on the voice isolation, set my gain, and my friends on discord said they could hear me crystal clear. No keyboard sounds, no wind noise from my desk fan, nothing. I love the touch sensitive mute button on the top. It's easy to mute and step away for a minute, then come back and unmute. I mounted this mic on a boom arm, so when I am not on a Discord call, I can just push it back behind my gaming monitor and get it out of the way. After years of searching for a separate mic so I can finally stop being forced to use gaming/chat headsets, I finally have a quality mic with excellent sound quality, and the convenience features I needed for my particular use-case. I think most people who value quality mic audio will love this new Voxara mic, as long as you have the space to use/mount it. Finally being able to game with my light open-back headphones plugged into my dac/amp, and still have crystal clear mic audio in a separate device has definitely made a positive change in my gaming setup.

192KHz/32-bit sampling is what most audio brands define as the high-end of Hi-Res audio. This also happens to be the sampling capability of the Corsair Voxara USB condenser microphone. For streaming, teleconferencing, and pretty much everything you can throw at this mic, this capability is truly overkill. However, having the ability to record audio at this level is definitely a nice-to-have for those who do more than stream and meet on their PCs. Setup is quick and easy. Connect the mic to your computer using a USB-A to USB-C cable, install Corsair iCUE, and optionally connect a pair of headphones. iCUE allows you to customize lighting in the mic, control what the knob adjusts, and gives you AI-powered noise-cancellation options that are powered by either your computer's processor or video card. (Some modes aren't available without a NVidia video card.) So the most important question - how is audio quality? Amazing. The mic does well with voice, musical instruments, and even ASMR. The capsule does a solid job throughout its advertised response range. Doing a sweep from 20Hz to 20KHz, the response level remains relatively flat. The lighting of the pop filter itself is nice, and the electronics that drive the lighting don't add any apparent noise to the sound floor. The headphone jack also works well, with high-quality audio output that is well-balanced. For the price, the Voxera represents a good value in high-end USB microphones. Excellent audio quality and flexibility in mounting are the hallmarks of this mic, with the lighting being a nice touch. Going beyond gaming, this is an excellent mic for podcasting and anything to do with vocals.

I've been very impressed with the Corsair VOXARA RGB Gaming Condenser Microphone. It works extremely well for both everyday work and gaming, offering great functionality, convenience, and ease of use. Setup was incredibly simple. Once I installed the Elgato Wave Link software, I was able to update the microphone's firmware without any issues. The software is straightforward and user-friendly, allowing me to quickly adjust and fine-tune settings such as microphone input volume and RGB lighting. One of my favorite features is the placement of the physical controls. Everything is conveniently positioned and easy to access, especially the touch-sensitive mute button at the top of the microphone. It's a small design detail that makes a big difference when switching between work calls and gaming sessions. The included stand is another standout feature. It has a solid, weighted base that gives the microphone a sturdy, premium feel. I also really appreciate the headphone jack on the back of the microphone, which adds another level of convenience to the overall setup. Overall, Corsair did an excellent job balancing functionality, design, and ease of use with the VOXARA RGB. It's a well-built, thoughtfully designed microphone that fits perfectly into both a professional workspace and a gaming setup. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile microphone that's easy to configure and use.

Really love using the Corsair Voxara gaming mic. The compatibility with elgato wave link is a plus for streaming and dialing in the quality of the mic. I really like the design and RGB of the mic. It really stands out on my desk or using a mic arm. There a lots of built in modes for controlling the RGB but Corsair also gives you the ability to customize the RGB. The microphone has tons of options on the Corsair app icue. for fine tuning the Mic you need to use the elgato waves link app. That is also where you can use voice filters and update the device firmware. The instructions that come with the mic are very detailed and make it easy to use your mic and get the most out of it. Walks you through the process of setting up the gain and dialing in the mic for your unique set up. You also have access to the elgato store since the Voxara mic is using their elgato wave link software. Overall I really like it. I'm glad Corsair gives detailed instructions to make sure you get to experience the mic the way they intended you to.

I've used stand analog XLR mics in the past and found myself appreciating direct USB mics more and more. The Voxara does a great job capturing my voice and is now my primary device for desktop capture. The Voxara (on its own) is about 9" tall and ~2.25" diameter, making it narrow enough to be unobtrusive on my desk - even with the included shock mount. The included stand is simple and attractive, and easily removable if you want to use a mic arm. I can say I'm really impressed with how "full" the audio capture is. I hear ME, without it sounding distorted or mechanical. I have a deep voice and that definitely still comes through. Fortunately, the Wave Link software helps level that out. The controls on the mic are simple and easy to access; and having a small screen displaying the levels is useful, but not groundbreaking. I do like the ability to adjust volumes with the front knob, although I found the software control with external audio outputs to be a little janky (that is, not very responsive.) About the RGB...It's colorful. It goes along with the "gaming" aesthetic. I essentially considered it an affectation, but I can honestly say I actually like it set to the audio meter setting. Here you get visual feedback of your voice level and it's just so perfect to me. Another appreciated addition is the tap-to-mute/unmute feature, which also gives visual cues when it's activated. Finally, I want to address the Wave Link software. I was hesitant to install it again after the problems I had with an earlier version for another Elgato device. Earlier versions had a bug where it would fill up drives with log files. It seems this has been resolved (I'll know for sure in time), but I will say the newer version of Wave Link is very nice. It now has a cleaner, more modern look, easier to navigate, and does a great job helping you configure the Voxara. You don't need Wave Link to use the mic, but it's required for firmware updates, etc. I'm glad Corsair appears to have addressed these issues.
