Sharp image quality you would expect from a OLED. Saw some complaints of dulling whites and had a similar issue at first. Corrected by using an HDR calibration app through Microsoft. Over all a solid monitor, you get what you pay for. If you’re trying to ball on a budget though, there are better options.

I have had this monitor for a little over a year. No complaints from me when it comes to performance. Best monitor I have had, great quality. Picture is amazing, refresh rate is amazing and color is awesome as well. Works wonders when playing Destiny 2, Stalker 2 and a few other games I play. I would recommend buying one if it fits on your budget. But I would have to let people know, there is a screen standby/sleep mode that you can’t get rid of, it goes dim after a while of just sitting there. So if that isn’t a problem to you, then that’s really only the bad/annoying thing I can think of.

I switched from a just playing on laptop, connected to the monitor and I dont know why but it improved my performance?? I got a performance boost on fortnite, i would get 80 fps on my laptop and 110+ when conncted to my monitor. I think it has to do something with the nvidia stuff inside the monitor but also the colors, THE COLORS WERE AMAZINGGGGAUHSFIUDYASIUDYSUYAIUDYAUYAIUSDYIAUYD. And the insurance is only 100 for 4 years, VERY GOOD DEAL. Some people might not like this but you won’t regret it long term, the screen dims when a big amount of white comes on the screen, it automatically dims, love that feature for long term health.

[Employee of bestbuy] My hunt for a main monitor ended when I found the 27” Xeneon. What was I looking for? OLED, 240Hz refresh rate, G-Sync were musts. What finally sold me on the monitor was the LG Panel used, which is notably reliable in their OLED televisions. Essentially, if you are looking for a 240HZ, OLED monitor under $1000, this is the best monitor out there for you.

Great monitor out of the box with an assortment of welcomed features. OLED display by LG 240hz refresh rate multiple HDMI & USB ports including 1 USB-C port. It even has a motion sensor to guide you on the power/input/settings button layouts under the screen. With all of these great features I must point out the 1 flaw that bothers me. The brightness… it’s not as bright as it should be considering the price. I am using a ring light to compensate but other than that the monitor is perfect. I’d definitely recommend

At first, this monitor performed well side by side to an LG 240hz oled panel--it was brighter in an LG OLED Youtube test video. Then when I went from windowed mode to Fullscreen in chrome, it went from white to near gray! It's as if auto dimming kicked in during fullscreen. When playing OW2 at 100% brightness in a dark room, it doesn't even look that bright. I had the Asus variant, which I would have kept, but that monitor glitched out on me. These OLED panels all have amazing clarity and colors, but the brightness or flat out defective problems makes them feel exactly what they are--early adopter models with compromises. For how much companies are charging, I'll pass on paying to be a quality control tester and wait to see if these problems get ironed out later down the road. Pros: Nice build quality Great port options Cons: Maybe it needs an update, but it seems like it auto dims, even with brightness stabilizer turned to off. This doesn't come with 8mm washers to fit flush in the back or it'll crack the plastic, which is only a problem if you're looking to mount this with a monitor arm. Why 2 stars? Maybe Corsair can fix its auto dim problem via firmware update. That would boost this to a 5-star monitor.

I purchased this monitor approximately 2 months ago, the panel already has a "burn in" issue. The monitor also flickers when using a display port cable and auto-dims white into gray. Totally unacceptable for a monitor this price from a reputable manufacturer such as Corsair.

OMG… I don’t usually get all over excited about a monitor but than again I never had one that is completely geared for gamers and has so many advantages over the competition both as a monitor and for my gaming experience! Even though I am using this both for my desktop and my Xbox I will talk more about the Xbox as a lot of reviews will talk about the computer aspect and cover it. I play a lot of games that require a great refresh rate and also as far as my Xbox 120hz (on PC 240hz). Everyone that has played with 60hz versus 120hz on the Xbox knows how major the difference is. The actual refresh rate is so good it’s almost a joke! 0.03ms… seriously 0.03! Playing Rocket league or MLB the show I have to adjust for the zero amount of delay and yes it makes me a better player right away! It is a gamechanger and I’m so stocked! I won’t bore you on all the other awesomeness as ya the black and the whites are beautiful and the pictures I am sharing can’t do it justice. It also has so many ports including usb-c and I have my headphones charging right after completing my gaming session. I love having this monitor at the highest settings that my Xbox series X can handle and it is just perfect. It uses a LG OLED panel and just wow… umm ya I recommend it also it’s very light and not using the stand is no problem.

The colors and overall image quality of this monitor is enough to turn any gamers head. Games that I have been playing for a long time seem to jump to life now because the added depth and rich colors provide new details that enhance the game play. I own several high end monitors including several 4k LED models but this OLED display outperforms them all from a gaming stand point. The only issue I have with this monitor is the screen becomes greyish and less bright when displaying a full white screen and its noticeable as soon as you open File Explorer or Word in full screen mode. I was able to customize one of the preset picture settings to minimize the effect. Overall this is an excellent gaming monitor. Pros: - OLED panel with 3 year guarantee of no burn-in or dead pixels - Vivid colors while maintaining deep darks – superior contrast - Super fast 240 hz refresh rate - High Quality fully adjustable stand that saves desk space - Smooth motion control with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Free Sync support - Easily accessible ports on the back - 1 Display Port, 2 HDMI, 2 USB-C and a 4 port USB-A hub - Proximity sensor for OSD buttons – something every monitor should have - Wide viewing angle – great for split screen gaming Cons: - Screen brightness and whiteness drop when going from half screen to full screen - The default preset text settings are too yellowed and dim - Not integrated with iCUE yet After cabling up the monitor I went online and ran the EIZO and UFO display test to verify that there weren’t any dead pixels, the color range was uniform and that the image was blur free at a 240 hz refresh rate. Next I used the OSD to select the display’s preset “game” setting and started playing some of my favorite games. I quickly realized how good the image quality was and how the OLED’s contrast levels added depth to the game. In F1 2022 and Forza 5 the car cockpit, road and scenery were so much clearer and colorful even when I was going full out on the road. In War Thunder the transparent naming over the other tanks was actually readable because the blue type was vivid and not washed out. In multiple games what used to be a washed out grey became much more distinct especially in areas where there were shadows. Bottom line is that this monitor really did make a difference for me when it came to playing games. Note that to get the most out of this monitor you need to have a mid to upper level gaming pc. If you plan to use this monitor for doing lots of office applications be aware that this display when set to full screen did not seem as bright or as white as other LED monitors that I own. I was able to adjust a preset picture setting to get it to an acceptable level for me but others may find it unacceptable. Setup: Corsair does a great job providing everything you need to get this monitor connected. The stand attaches using a toolless design and the monitor is fully adjustable – height and tilt and view angle. They include a HDMI cable, a Display Port cable, a USB- C cable and a USB-A to USB-C cable. The ports are all easily accessible from the back of the monitor. There are three buttons on the bottom of the monitor; Input, Power and OSD. The OSD allows you to access preconfigured Picture settings as well as the ability to customize the picture settings to your liking. One really nice feature is that there is an OSD sensor that detects your hand and then displays the OSD button menu so you know exactly where the buttons are.

Before recieving my new Corsair 27" XENEON OLED monitor I had not fully researched exactly every new feature and all of the amazing specs of this monitor. This monitor offers a high-quality visual experience with refresh rates at 240hz which produce very fluid visuals on an LG manufactured OLED display. The LG OLED panel provides exceptional color accuracy and really vibrant visuals, the colors are just magnificent with the most life like blacks I have ever experienced on a gaming monitor. The monitor also features technologies like G-SYNC and FreeSync which typically it seems as though you get one or the other but not both which often limits you depending on your GPU. The Xeneon 27QHD240 includes a USB-C input delivering 65 watts of power, It also features two HDMI 2.1 ports, x1 Displayport 1.4, x1 USB Type C DP Alt mode, x1 USB Type C upstream port, x4 USB Type A with KVM and x1 3.5mm audio output jacks. The power brick is substantial at 180 watts supplying this beast of a monitor. I love the aesthetics, there seems to have been a lot of attention put into this area also, the overall thinness is very appealing even though the stand takes up an average amount of space, even th so it provides up/down & side to side tilt as well as the ability to rotate into portrait mode. Another aspect I am impressed with is an anti reflective coating that has been applied and is very impressive when in an environment with many reflections. One more function that I stumbled upon is a proximity sensor on the bottom side that will make you aware of the button locations and their functions so no more randomly feeling around then changing a setting that you never intended to touch. While everything about this monitor has impressed me and anyone else would likely feel the same I do have to say that it may not be for everyone strictly due to cost. I consider the cost to be fair for the product you are getting but the reality is that not everyone can afford such a luxury, but that is life. If you can however afford to splurge then I am sure you will not end up dissapointed, this thing is great and I look forward to every time I ghet to use it!

TLDR The Pros: Insane response time, picture quality, viewing angles, thin bezel, and amazing warranty coverage. The Cons: HDR is washed out on PC, lacks brightness compared to other models using the same LG panel, text fringing, and expensive. This monitor uses the same panel as the LG 27GR95QE-B. There are two other monitors on the market that uses the same panel as well which are the ASUS PG27AQDM and the Acer Predator X27U (not released yet at the time of writing). I would not recommend using HDR mode on this monitor for Windows 10 PC. Just do yourself a favor and turn it off. You will get better brightness and not have to deal with HDR looking washed out. This is more of a problem with PC not having good support for HDR so for consoles this should be a non issue. The ASUS PG27AQDM is the brightest out of the four, however, this is due to ASUS overclocking their panels. Beware that this may cause faster burn-in and ASUS does not cover that in warranty. If you want a brighter display get the ASUS instead but with an extended warranty from Best Buy. This Corsair monitor has a 3 year Zero dead pixel and Zero burn-in warranty which is what sets it apart from the rest. The other three do not offer this warranty coverage. It comes down to a preference thing. I am someone who cannot stare at a bright screen for too long before I get headaches. This Corsair monitor is definitely bright enough at 100% brightness in SDR mode with Brightness Stabilizer ON. I end up using it at 60% brightness at night and it is perfect for me. This might not be the case for other people so you need to try it out to see if you will like it. There is notable text fringing due to the RWBG subpixel layout which is not supported in Windows ClearType. If you can hold off for another year or two for an OLED with an RGB subpixel layout I would say do it. Where this product shines is in Gaming. There is basically instantaneous response and the display is beautiful. Once you game on OLED its hard to go back on any other type of panel. There is no visible logo in the front of the display or RGB LED lights which is a plus for me. I'm not a gamer that uses flashy lights in my setup so again this will be a preference thing. It is very expensive though. I would give it 5 stars if it was priced at around $700 instead and if the text fringing wasn't a thing. Otherwise in terms of gaming, there is no better 27 Inch monitor in the market right now compared to these four OLED displays. You just need to pick one that suits your taste with the different features.

I was very excited when I got the opportunity to use the new Corsair Xenon 27QHD240 OLED monitor. I was immediately impressed with the unboxing experience. Corsair had clear and easy to follow instructions printed right on the box exterior. It was easy to open, and mount the included stand without damaging the display itself. The display lays flat inside it's packaged foam surrounding, but lays high enough to make it possible to attach the stand. This attention to detail made me excited to get this turned on! Once setup on my desk, I noticed just how thin the display itself was. The only real thickness comes from the I/O panel where the mount is also attached. The overall design aesthetic is extremely minimal, with the slim bezels. There is a white Corsair logo printed on the front side of the monitor stand, and a cutout of the Corsair logo on the back. I found both to be subtle and not distracting. The rear also has a triangle mesh pattern that looked modern, subtle, and unique all at the same time. There are plenty of I/O ports on this monitor that will serve any possible need. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with DisplayPort alt mode, 4 USB port type A. The menu button is also super unique. Once powered on, once your hand is placed below the panel, button indicators illuminate on the panel showing you which buttons correspond to what inputs without having to look underneath. I found this to be extraordinarily helpful and very well throughout. Moving on to how the panel looks visually. This is obviously the main reason for this display. Upon initial viewing, I went from super excited to very disappointed almost instantly. I own many OLED TVs and am intimately familiar with the technology. This monitor met non of my initial expectations. The 1440p image was fairly blurry and the colors were far too over saturated. I played with the on screen menu color and sharpness adjustments, though I was never quite able to reach anything I could consider to be "accurate color" right off the bat. Sharpness by default is also set to 5 out of 10. Most OLED displays I've used, you'd set this to 0, and images would be super sharp. This is also my experience with most monitors. Setting this to 0 here, resulted in a super blurry image, so I reluctantly left this on 5. Setting above 5 resulted in obvious post processing of sharpness and also hurt image quality. After running Windows display calibration and setting saturation to a lower setting, I found colors to then be mostly accurate, however, this is nowhere near a reference display coloring, nor would I put it close to any of the LG TVs, despite this being an LG panel Corsair used. Black performance is perfect, which I would expect from an OLED panel. Watching OLED test/demo videos did result in a beautiful image, though these images lend themselves to being demoed on high contrast over exaggerated colors, so I expected perfection here. When using the monitor on a desktop setting, I noticed text looks odd due to the subpixel layout on OLED panels. I'm not going to go into detail in this review, but you can research "chroma subsample" to understand more about this effect. I then realized, the blurriness of the panel actually masks this effect a bit and fully believe, the initial blurriness I noticed is intentional, not a panel flaw. While most people will likely prefer this experience, and I'm sure Corsair will hear less complaints vs is the chroma subsampling was more visible, I would have much preferred sharper image. After all, the chroma subsampling issue is not present in games at all, which is really the only use case for an OLED monitor to begin with. Performance wise, the 240hz panel is brilliant. The instant pixel transition characteristics of OLED also shine here. Movement in games were quick, not blurry (motion blur) and felt superb compared to even the best LCDs. This is what really made the OLED panel shine. The Gsync capabilities also resulted in a perfect, tear free gaming experience. Corsair also includes a 3 year, no burn in and no dead pixel warranty. This is extraordinary as it eliminated any roadblocks, or hesitation to buy and use due to burn in worries. I cannot imagine using this monitor for typical workstation type stuff due to the fear of burn in anyway, but having this level of support takes any actual problem a non-issue. Overall, this is a very well thought out product and Corsair clearly spent time considering user experience, and it shows. The image quality issues I mentioned are fairly minor in the overall experience. And while this is far from the most accurate OLED display I have seen and used, it still offers good quality and exceptional blacks. As one of the first consumer OLED monitors to come out, I believe Corsair has a win with this model, and it can only improve from here. Much thanks to Corsair for being one of the first to pioneer OLED tech, being thoughtful on the design, and I cannot wait to see what they do with the next generation.

I’ve been eagerly waiting for this monitor to arrive ever since it was announced. I exclusively use 27” monitors and did not want to buy one of the larger OLED monitors currently on the market. I was really hoping this monitor could replace my old Dell 27” gaming monitor that I use for work and gaming. This monitor has a lot going for it, but unfortunately, if you do anything else with your PC besides gaming (work, web browsing, video editing, etc.), I think you’re going to be sorely disappointed by this monitor’s limitations. ===PROS=== - The first thing you’ll notice is how incredibly light the monitor is. When it was delivered, I was actually concerned that someone had stolen the monitor out of the shipping box since it was so light. - Likewise, the monitor is amazingly thin. If you’ve seen an OLED TV in person, you’ll know what to expect. It looks great on my desk and almost disappears when viewed from the side. - I also like the minimalist look of the stand, which is sleek and very functional. You can adjust the monitor in practically every direction, including up/down, tilt, and swivel. The built-in cable management is also a huge space saver. The monitor is also VESA 100mm x 100mm compatible, so I was able to easily mount it on my dual-monitor stand. - The input ports included are pretty much state-of-the-art. You get 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, and 1x Type-C DP. Even better, cables for each connection type are included in the box. - Gaming on this monitor is an absolute treat. Paired with my RTX 4090, I’m able to max out the 240Hz refresh rate in most games at ultra settings. 1440p is certainly the ideal resolution for this refresh rate, but it comes with its own set of drawbacks (more on that below). Colors are bright, vivid, and amazingly accurate. Blacks are absolutely perfect, as to be expected. No more milky blacks or blooming during those dark scenes in games. With G-SYNC enabled, motion handling is excellent with zero screen tearing even at lower frame rates. - Viewing angles are similarly excellent. Even when viewed from the side, colors remain perfect and do not wash out. ===CONS=== - Simply put, this monitor really is not intended to be used for anything except gaming and maybe watching movies. As soon as you start browsing the web or doing any type of productivity tasks, you will immediately notice that this monitor cannot handle a large amount of white color at once. For example, if you load up a blank Microsoft Word or Excel document, the brightness of the monitor will drastically dim down due to the amount of white displayed on screen. The same thing happens when viewing web pages with white backgrounds. The monitor turns white background into a very dark, murky gray color and makes web browsing or productivity tasks almost impossible, unless you enjoy squinting to see what’s on the monitor. - The monitor also does a VERY poor job at rendering text. There is very noticeable “text fringing” around most text – it looks very fuzzy or blurry. It’s like stepping back to a very old smartphone display where text looks very blocky. This is most likely due to the 1440p resolution and the inherent pixel layout of the OLED panel, but it makes any type of web browsing or productivity very frustrating. - Adjustments on the OSD are very minimal. You can adjust the brightness and select from a handful of preset display modes (Standard, Gaming, and Movie), but that’s about it from what I can tell. Cycling through the various display presets or setting brightness to 100% does nothing to solve the auto-dimming issues with a large amount of white background. - The OSD controls are activated by a proximity sensor, so the menu options appear on-screen as your hand approaches the bottom of the monitor. This is supposed to be a “feature,” but I find it rather annoying. I have inadvertently activated the OSD controls several times just through the normal movement of my hands. ===OVERALL=== If you are expecting to use this monitor as your primary display for gaming, work, and web browsing, my advice would be to skip this and keep looking. Yes, the OLED display of the 27QHD240 is stunning, but only in very specific circumstances, and definitely not for web browsing or productivity. I wish I would have done a bit more research since I use my PC for more than just gaming, and I don’t think I can live with the major drawbacks of the auto-dimming and text fringing. If all you plan to use this monitor for is gaming and media consumption, then these will likely be far less serious issues for you. This is by far the best GAMING monitors I’ve ever used, but it’s one of the worst monitors for almost everything else.

Ive heard everything from bad pictures to text fringing on this monitor, and have not seen anything but a good looking picture, that looks way better than my okd monitor. I will say, that it does lack brightness, mainly when surfing google, but in game it is phenomenal. So is it $1000? Sure, its pricey, but so are macbooks, so are cars, just know what youre buying when you drop one grand. So heres the list. From my experience it is a very good monitor, and very much worth the price. OLED looks sweeet, and the brightness level is a bit dim DURING NON GAMING SESSIONS. Complicated? Yea maybe. Buy it, try it out, if you dont like, return it. Simple as that. Most OLEDs are pricey nowadays anyways. Try it, ya might light it (i am highly positive you will like it)

Monitor is excellent. The response time is crazy coming from even a 1ms 1080p 240hz. Colors are as expected from an OLED. Its more expensive than other monitors by far, but i bought it as an all purpose gaming/general use/movies and i cannot complain. Worth every penny.

Moved to this monitor from an old ROG SWIFT PG279Q IPS from 2016. The difference in image quality is night and day. I have spent every day with it trying any game I own that has HDR support and really enjoying the experience of my first OLED monitor. The OSD is extremely easy to use and navigate. The color quality is outstanding, HDR works very well, and the OSD is very easy and intuitive to use. The monitor comes with a KVM switch over USB-C, which has worked great for hopping back and forth from my home PC and work laptop. The connection layout is wonderfully easily accessible, assembly was intuitive and fast, and the amount of configuration for brightness/colors/etc is satisfactory. I do dislike a bit that these are not configurable aside from two color temperature options while in HDR however. A firmware update to allow color calibration in HDR mode would be much appreciated, but this shortcoming is not enough to knock a star off the rating for me. I also appreciate features that help reduce the issues of burn in and image retention, and I really like that the screen prompts me to run the Image Retention Refresh feature after extended use. It's nice for the monitor to be proactive in helping the user take care of the screen to reduce the need for a warranty claim. The inclusion of a burn-in warranty from Corsair, plus the fact it has HDMI 2.1 (instead of the HDMI 2.0 on the ASUS OLED) made this an easy pick for me over the LG and the ASUS as well as other OLED gaming monitors. I would have liked the brighter screen on the ASUS, but the quality concerns with the monitor and the lack of burn in warranty for a monitor that is clearly being pushed harder than the LG and Corsair made this an easy choice. If Corsair can increase brightness later on with a firmware update, I would not complain. Being the only better OLED options seem to require me to move from 16:9 1440p to Ultrawide or to a larger 4K screen, this was my sweet spot choice. 4K or even Ultrawide 1440p would be a struggle on my RTX 3080 on current games with ray tracing and all, I prefer 16:9 and 2560x1440p so this was the easy choice amongst all the options for me. That being said, there are some cons that may impact other buyers that does has not negatively impacted my experience so I will mention them here for posterity, as well as why this does not bother me in case that helps sway any other people sitting on the fence: - The screen is noticeably less bright than my old IPS. However, my screens are 90 degrees next to two large windows that the sun sets directly in front of every evening. I have not noticed brightness or glare being an issue in this scenario, even on some dimmer presets. - As a result of OLED brightness limitations, it does not excel at full screen white pages, which look closer to gray when you fullscreen a site like, say, Best Buy. I use most sites and Windows in dark mode, so this largely does not bother me. If anything as an occasional FPS gamer, getting flashbanged while playing a shooter means my retinas don't get seared anymore! Practically a quality of life feature for a gamer. - Text fringing may be a bother for productivity uses, however, I have found that after fiddling with Adjust ClearType in Windows 11, I have gotten it to a point where I do not notice it at all and use it for production quite often. - HDR colors look a little muted on Windows but largely looks great in games. Manually changing digital vibrancy in Nvidia Control Panel helps mitigate this a bit, although it is easy to oversaturate with this feature. At the end of the day, it's a stellar monitor, for the price I only wish it had a dedicated GSync Module or a bit more brightness for even better HDR, but I'm extremely happy with it - I hope to get the most out of it for as long as possible.

I was worried at first, coming from a 4k rog monitor i wasn't going to like the resolution and it being an oled wouldn't do it justice,but i dont miss 4k at all and im loving the deep blacks and motion rendering. And after two months of gaming on it every other day and alot on weekends probably a total of two to three hundred hours on it so far and no burn in. and i haven't changed much of my habits from owning others monitors but i do use the pixels refresh every other time i use the monitor. Overall its a great monitors but i think eight to nine hundred dollars is a little steep so id wait until prices go down.

To be frank, $1000 is a lot for a screen, but it’s a very pretty, well-designed screen. Compared to a 100% RGB 4K 60 Hz IPS monitor, it’s way better in every way, as it should be. The colors pop, light sources in video games (especially flames) look worlds better, and the 240 Hz 1440p OLED screen provides a clearer picture than the 60 Hz 4K IPS screen that I had. I don’t really understand the general complaints about the matte screen or the brightness. It doesn’t get eye-searingly bright, but the monitor is plenty bright in both SDR and HDR in both dark and well-lit rooms at 50/100 to 75/100 brightness. The matte coating is also not at all equivalent to the cheap coatings used on run-of-the-mill monitors; neither dark nor light content looks hazy like it did on my old monitor with a matte coating. As far as the actual monitor itself goes, it’s quite lightweight but very sturdy. The screen pivots with easy, but a slightly wobbly desk won’t make the monitor wobble all over the place. All the ports on the back are very accessible, and the built-in USB hub makes it easier to hide cable clutter on your desk. The OLED screen refresh warning is a little spammy; it comes up every 8 hours of monitor use, but it only flashes for a few seconds in the lower right corner, and it goes away after you run the screen refresh. As a nice little extra, it comes with all the cables you need to use all of the features of the monitor, which is more than can be said for a lot of companies that assume that you have plenty of those and leave them out. Also, the three year warranty makes me confident that I’ll be enjoying this monitor for a long time.

This monitor is amazing it has good colors and its very smooth, but the only thing is it sometimes flickers on darker colors other than that i personally think this monitor is worth it.
