@crimsondesert_ is an absolute buy. Its a 10/10, especially after the latest quality of life updates! Im in chapter 9/12, 71 hours in and I feel that I can dump another 100 hours! Its a mixture of Breath of the wild, RD2, Elden Ring, Assassins Creed and Witcher 3. Its a massive Open world Action RPG. Pros: Massive open world Crafting, skill trees, hunting, fishing and MORE Exploring rewards you Combat is sick So many side quests Base building Cons: Some of the button controls are a bit annoying but you get used it Clearing camps feels a bit overwhelming some time Bosses are sometime just unfair Ive never liked puzzles but these are the hardest #CrimsonDesertReview #CrimsonDesert #Xbox

Amazing game, super easy to pickup. Just wish I could’ve gotten the deluxe edition

Since the release date ive been hooked. Ive been playing an average of 6 hours per day. There are too many performance issues the manufacturers should have addressed before releasing it tho. Also, the stiry could have been much better but given the huge open world and so many weapons, armor, upradeable abilities its a blast to play. If you liked elden ring then you’ll like this game.

The game is what people want in a video game. It has open world, it has combat, it has exploration, the graphics are good.

This game is a technical marvel on the Series X. The combat is fluid and impactful, and the world of Pywel is incredibly detailed. It’s easily one of the most immersive action RPGs I’ve played in years. Highly recommended for any fantasy fan!

Crimson desert is basically every kind of rpg rolled into one. There are so many systems and mechanics from all kinds of rpg and open world games that it is overwhelming when you start. Playing the main quests teaches you some of them but many you will have to figure out just by playing the game. Is that a bad thing thing? To me no but some may find it so. As you progress things open up and be one easier. So experimenting with what you've learned and unlocked can lead to some knowledge of how you can be more efficient, finding clever ways to take advantage of things or finding ways to save time and trouble. Being able to interact with the environment and wildlife in creative ways also brings more immersion into Pywel. For me never has exploring a world been so great and breath taking than in crimson desert. But the game isn't perfect of course. The story is forgettable. Other than the main character kliff and maybe yan none of the characters really stand out. The way kliff handles can also feel janky or clunky at times. The other characters you can switch to are worse than kliff so I personally didn't see a point to using them. It is also possible to sometimes forget that you can do certain things because there is just so much crammed into the game. On the bright side the developers are hearing feedback from the community and have been pushing out updates since launch like clockwork. 2 some times 3 updates a week. Never have I seen a game developer update their game so fast to fix or change things and add new content and qol changes. Pearl Abyss is doing something special with how they are updating this game constantly. If you love open world exploration games you need to try Crimson Desert. For me it has set a new standard.

Have about 50 hours in so far and the world is MASSIVE. Definitely the most fun ive had with a single player game in over a decade. The controls definitely take some time to adjust to but because there are so many controls im not surprised they had to come up with some creative ways to get the game to play on a console.

The game started off a little slow but it's really a very good game. The world is big and lots of things to explore and find. Developers are actively fixing and adding features.

I'm maybe 100 hours into the game and the size of the world and the number of things to learn and do is crazy. If you like open world RPGs, it's an easy recommend. The controls are a little clunky to get used to at first but after a while, their fine. If you have a spare 500 hours to play this game, you should definitely pick it up!

Great game, giant open world with tons to do and difficult satisfying bosses, definitely worth it.

Very good game here. Not sure if Xbox can handle it though. Pretty choppy at times due to the huge battles. Big time demand on the console.
