Got this before the world realized that LLMs eat RAM for context. 140$ was worth upgrading my old laptop to run 3D modeling/scanning. I don’t think 600$ is worth it though. Eventually production will catch up and we will all have a laugh…. I hope.

Upgraded my laptop with the Crucial 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR5 5600MHz C46 SODIMM and it’s easily one of the best performance upgrades I’ve ever done. From the moment I installed it, everything felt instantly smoother—faster app launches, snappier multitasking, and noticeably better responsiveness across the board. Heavy workloads that used to push my system into “wait for it…” mode now run confidently: lots of browser tabs, multiple apps open, large files, VMs, dev tools—no drama. If you do anything memory-hungry (creative work, coding, virtualization, or even light AI/local inference), this kit is a game-changer.

SODIMM DDR5 Memory was easy to instal in my device. Memory is working as I would expect it to and I have noticed no problems at all.

Worked great not complicated to setup just pop out old ram and insert this one. The screen went black for a few seconds until the ram reading was done but worked great after.
