Although this SSD falls slightly below Sony's recommended specs, that's what they're recommendations and not requirements. This thing works perfectly in my PS5, was easy to install, and reads/writes fast. Make sure to get yourself a heat sink elsewhere, and you've nearly tripled your storage for PS5 games for just over $60.

Easy ps5 upgrade. I bought an aftermarket heatsink to install this with the ps5 and it works great so far. This is an easy, budget freindly upgrade for the ps5 to expand your game space and storage.

Not as fast as I hoped but I’m still happy with this NVMe. Over double the speed of my old Crucial MX500 SATA SSD. Boot times are fast and games load up fast.

I’ve used crucial before for their laptop ram and it ran pretty good. This was the first Crucial SSD I got as I was on a budget and I got to say for the price it competes with more premium ssds. I installed my OS onto it and I’ve had no issues with it. Overall I would recommend this over other brands as the performance exceeds the price

This was a much needed upgrade for my brother’s laptop from a 500gb sata m.2 drive. He was on windows 10 with less than 20gb left. Now he gets a clean slate, 1tb, and windows 11. I tested crystaldisk and got ~3500MB/s, but honestly this could be a limitation of the laptop as it is from 2018 (Dell Inspiron 5577). Very happy with the purchase!
