Coffee aficionado, bought this to supplement my pourover. It's fast, easy to use, and makes an excellent cup of coffee

I read so many positive reviews about this cafetera that I had to give it a try. I've always managed to burn my espresso pots on the stove, by being distracted and walking away to do something else. This little machine makes that impossible. I guess the only thing I don't like about it is that I only get one mug worth of coffee. if I have a guest I either have to use small espresso cups, or wait till the bottom cools off, clean and re-use.

Ever since I left Virginia back in 1999 I have wondered where the morning kick went with my morning coffee. Then I come across this espresso maker, and voilà, the kick is back! Back in VA we had a prehistoric version of this, it did not move around with me, and the morning kick was gone, all this time I thought that prehistoric thing we used was just a coffee pot! This thing beats that prehistoric version I had in spades! It is simple to use, easy to clean, the operation is straight forward. One use fills my BIG coffee mug once. The only downside is the boiler part, the silver bottom, it is a BOILER, and gets very HOT. It cools down at about the pace of a electric stove burner cooling down from a medium heat setting. I dinged it one star because there is no heat shield. DeLongi does warn about this, but I feel they could have done better. This is not something you want around small children who are forever curious about what is on the counter.

Simple to use, works well. Inexpensive alternative to high priced espresso machines and not a lot that can go wrong maintenance-wise.

Simple to use and make Expresso! Easy to clean the only downer the plastic top seems a bit odd, feels greasy and looks dirty after washing!

My husband & I love drinking coffee, it is small but it get the job done. We use it not just every day but 3-4 times a day & we've been used it for few months now. One thing about it I wish coffee pot get cool down quickly enough for me to clean before making another pot of espresso!!

I've owned on of these before but it was 220v, ordered this one for use in a 110v plug. Only thing that displeased me is the filter press thing to press the coffee down, if you leave it on while brewing the pot will leak, removed it works great!

I have the same machine in my other winter residency. I am pleased with how fast it finishes the coffee.

It operates perfectly. Note: should not use tap water; it is too hard for any coffee maker.

Product looked good online and seemed great value BUT we found the entire base was aluminium and the top unit is plastic! Cheap and no way we were going to run steam through it. Stainless steel and glass is the only way to go. We returned it straight away.
