I have enjoyed my Denon 550 Sound Bar for a few weeks. I specially like the base response with just the sound bar. I listened to Emmet Cohen trio with Ron Carter today and Carter’s bass came through strong. I will be adding 2 Denon Home 250 speakers for surround. I do not feel I will need to add a subwoofer.

The Denon sound bar is good, but not great, as advertised. The sound is good overall but does not fill the room. For a full room sound a subwoofer is a must. We purchased the soundbar for the DTS:X function, since we sometimes watch Blu-ray DVDs, but the lack of upward firing speakers,(as we had in our previous Yamaha soundbar) really impacts the feeling of fullness, and our room size is well within the soundbars advertised range. For music the soundbar does a good job.

I have Marantz/Heos system in my house and several Denon wireless speakers. The sound bar has less bass than the Denon Home 150 wireless speaker… but for its size works well and plays at a decent volume in a meduim sized bedroom……that said it is no power house and i will be adding the matching Denon Home series sub. Which should help alot. For general tv listening its perfect….music or movies the sub is a must have…period. Overall good balanced sound just needs bass. HEOS wireless works perfectly and streams high res music as long as you have a good strong wireless router signal.

Paired with a Dolby Vision capable Toshiba, sounds great on it's own. I plan to expand with some other Denon speakers in the future. Setup was fairly easy, a little toggling back and forth with the app to get it right. A bit disappointed that they haven't finalized Alexa integration yet (you can do some workarounds, but it is not a direct alexa device yet).

I am having issues with either this sound bar or google fiber. I had Geek squad out and they say the sound bar is fine. However, I cannot watch TV and get everything working unless I unplug my whole system to reboot it. It is so irritating. I need to get it resolved. I am sure if I can get everything in sync it would be a great device.

Denon definitely deliveries WIFI speaker system worth the money. It's important to judge this product by its price point. With that in mind, I am very happy with the sound it Versatility and design. The installation it take time and can be a bit frustrating. The HEOS app work seamlessly.

Excellent sound quality and the Heos system makes streaming from your phone a Hifi breeze. Tidal or other lossless streamers are able to get CD quality via WiFi rather than lossy blutooth. Really makes a difference for those that want a soundbar for music streaming. Only complaint is that updates seem to knock my sync with Alexa. Simple reboot fixes but it has been a mild announce with an otherwise outstanding product

Excellent sound quality, highly impressed. Better than the other wireless whole home competition's small and large sound bar. Really throwsthe audio out as if next to your ears witth certain programs like the Pacific. Only down fall is no subwoofer yet but it's upoosed to ad firmware update to add one and the Home speakers are also suppose to an update to enable to add them as surrounds. As a stand alone sound bar, no regrets. Can't wait for the added surrounds and sub can only improve iit even better with what is already coming an outside audio product.

Great product. Wireless connectivity is superb! Heios App could use more development, but the product is excellent and once set up is complete it performs beautifully. Beautifully styled as well.

Great sound quality works as described, may need to get sub-woofer to make a perfect setup.

Great sound. My only complaint is that I cannot see a number value for the volume when using my cable remote to increase or decrease sound.

This has amazing sound quality for the size of it the treble could be just a touch higher from the tweeters

Easily paired with our Roku TV, and also streams seamlessly with our Denon receiver and standalone speaker for whole-house audio. Definitely recommend!

Great sound quality  wonderful, bass easy to install to your TV 

bought at best buy. worked well for 2 months then speakers quit working. best buy will not take return and denon customer service is bad. have to wait on a box and pay for shipping to denon for repair. been without a working sound bar for 2 months. bad deal for a $600 sound bar
