Since his recording debut as Choir Boy in 2016, Adam Klopp has crafted nostalgic anthems, tapping the sound of swirling 1980s synth noir and captivating, cinematic songs sweeping with pensive sorrow and glowing hope. As a former member of the Mormon faith, Klopp spent his youth both in the pews of his place of worship, but also churning through DIY punk venues, before leaving the sect in the thick of a mission in Tahiti. The duality of faith and fiction are central to the rich explorations on his debut album Passive With Desire. Recorded at Studio Studio Dada, the album's tracks permuted as bedroom sketches, awash with camp, the sting of loss, and allusions to halcyon days of nocturnal, electronic driven pop. Retaining elements of Klopp's original demos, Passive With Desire was recorded with a full band and polished with trumpet, strings, as well as archival samples calling back to Klopp's hazy youth.Engineered by Klopp, Bret Meisenbach, and Stephen Cope, Passive With Desire is the entry point to Choir Boy's world of emotive wit, novella kissed lyricism, and bouncy, synth-forward takes on traditional song writing bound by the universal themes of loss, desire, evolution, and exploration. Album Tracks 1. Two Lips 2. Angel Dog 3. Leave Me Be 4. I Feel How the Snow Falls 5. Blood Moon 6. Sanitarium 7. Passive with Desire 8. Hellmouth 9. Dark Room

This is a band at the peak of it's powers. Drew Holcomb and his Neighbors recorded 21 songs over a 2 week period of time, and split them into two volumes. Volume II features a breadth of genre defying recordings of songs about love, loss, betrayal, the passage of time, and the ties that bind and break us as humans. There are songs centered around specific human experiences like Suffering, Forgiveness, Imagination, and Shelter which take the listener through a rock n roll and soulful journey into the unanswerable questions of how to navigate the joy and pain that we all face. There is the classic heartbreaker of Burn, which features Holcomb's wife, Ellie's arena stomping soulful background vocals over guitarist Nate Dugger's wailing guitar solo. The highlights are Soul's a Camera which finds Holcomb taking lyrical photos of a lifetime's worth of memories, reminding us all that we are made up of our stories and experiences, and the soul is indeed a camera. Green Light is a rollicking ode to the band's wives putting up with their troubadour lifestyle. Easy Together is a classic soulful song in the Marvin Gaye family tree, a blatant attempt to help the world make love. Way Back When is a heartbreaking ballad about the passage of time from a father to a son, and the inevitable end that faces us all, while trying to find a legacy to leave behind. Album Tracks 1. Green Light (Feat. Vince Gill) 2. Soul's a Camera 3. Suffering 4. The Sound of Moving Water 5. Easy Together 6. Burn (Feat. Ellie Holcomb) 7. Shelter 8. Forgiveness 9. Imagination 10. Way Back When 11. Without a Light 12. I Need to Go Somewhere

All Now emerges from a period of chaos for the band that was followed by a period of enforced quiet. The Staves released their third album, Good Woman, in February 2021; it was an album of love and loss, written during a disconcerting period of turmoil and pain. InchThere was a delayed reaction to trauma and these big changes out of your control,Inch says Jess of the period that came after Good Woman, as the band-like the rest of us-were forced to sit with their thoughts. The Staveley-Taylors were also still processing the death of their mother and other seismic changes Emily took a backseat on this album (while still contributing vocals on a handful of tracks) to focus on motherhood, while Camilla reckoned with her own mental and physical health issues, including chronic pain and a series of operations due to endometriosis, which began to take an increasing toll. Struggling after two years of deep solitude and pain following the of Good Woman, The Staves did what they know how to do best they got back to writing with the idea of going back to basics and focusing almost solely on each other and their guitars as a starting point. It began with Jess, navigating this new landscape by harnessing her creativity on her own, at first in the studio in Hackney at the end of 2022, then slowly luring Camilla back to the next chapter of The Staves, before reaching out to Congleton, who the band had worked with on Good Woman. Album Tracks 1. All Now 2. I Don't Say It, But I Feel It 3. Fundamental Memory 4. Make a Decision 5. The Echo 6. I'll Never Leave You Alone 1. After School 2. Great Wave 3. Recognise 4. So Gracefully 5. The Important One 6. You Held It All
