I like that it’s not too loud. It’s really not all that compact, I regretted not buying the regular size instead since this one is kind of on the large size for a travel air dryer anyway, but oh well. It’s very cute and lightweight, and I appreciate that the filter is easy to clean. My main frustration with this product is that even at this price point and given that it’s sold as a travel device, it didn’t come with a pouch. I was able to find a random pouch for it on Amazon but it made the transport of it even bulkier. Searched on the Dyson page and didn’t find a specific case for it (which I would have preferred). But even coming with a simple travel pouch would have made the purchase experience better. I’m currently in Brazil and it works well here, flying from here to Spain and Portugal and will test it there too. Oh. And make sure to buy the proper plug adapters for the electrical load!! (Another item Dyson should consider selling for their travel air dryer, world plug adapters like Apple does).

Very small and powerful for its size. Not as powerful as a normal as a full on hairdryer but does its job. It is travel friendly which is one the key features but they should have either included or made a travel case for this.

I have sang the praises of the Dyson line of hair dryers since the day I first day I got my hands on the original Supersonc (which I still have and continues to work like new) and have consistently declared that I would gladly pay full retail if the time ever came that I needed to replace it….after scoffing at the price when it was sent to me and just knowing I wouldn’t be impressed. So of course I didn’t hesitate on trying the Supersonic Travel version. For starters…while it is smaller and lighter than the full sized versions it’s not as small as I thought it might be. And it actually feels bigger than the Supersonic r version (although weight wise they are both the same). This isn’t really a negative or a positive. Just an observation. If you’re already a fan of Dyson’s hair dryers and see this as a more travel friendly carbon copy it’s not. Don’t get me wrong…it’s not a bad dryer but if you love how the Supersonic handles natural textured hair allowing you to get sleek smooth blowouts with less worry of frizz or humidity ruining your blowout the second you walk outside (which has always been one of my favorite things because it helps me not need to use any additional heat on my hair until my next wash day despite living and dealing with summer humidity in Georgia daily) then you may be a bit disappointed. It’s still better than a hotel dryer in most places and it will dry your hair just with less power and options for a premium price that may be better used towards a full sized Supersonic. It is nice that your other attachments will still work with this so you still have options to fit your needs. But for me…while I still like it and will travel with it as my just in case dryer it’s not one that I would feel compelled to replace if something were to happen to it.

I recently saw that Dyson came out with a travel size version of their hair dryer and immediately bought for an upcoming trip. I bring my Dyson everywhere I go and it can be a hassle especially when traveling with just a carry on. This takes up a much smaller footprint and seems to work just as good as the original! It's a must have for traveling when you can't live without your Dyson!

I have a Dyson Hair Dryer at home that I love. It was always big to travel with though. As soon as this travel size came out, I knew I had to have it. I took it on my first trip after receiving it, and it was so easy to pack. It works just as fabulous as my at home dryer. Love it!

Excellent Hair dryer in a cute color while also being a near perfect size for traveling

Have a supersonic hair dryer and love it. When I saw this one which is more compact and lighter, but more importantly, allows for multi-voltage (110 - 220V) use, had to purchase. This means I can use this anywhere in the world (I already accidentally fried an old hair dryer when taking it to Europe, since I thought all I needed was an adapter) and always come out perfect. Definitely recommend to someone with a Supersonic hair dryer that spends time on the road or in the air.

Works as well as the regular sized one but it's significantly smaller and lighter. Also compatible with the accessories from the normal sized one.

I am a Dyson fan and this travel hairdryer lives up to what I expect from Dyson. Plenty of power, and small enough to travel with.

Works as well if not better then the full size one and cheaper. Let hope it last longer then the other one did (full size) only one year

We bought the Dyson Supersonic for our trip to Korea. It worked for some days in Korea. But then one day, the Dyson fry the hotel electricity/wiring and our whole room started to smell and we had to evacuate from the room. This causes some safety concerns and we decided to not use the hair dryer for the remainder of the trip. I would not recommend this product since it’s not reliable and there’s no telling when it could just blow off the power. Maybe wait until there a more reliable options, but I would just stick with the hotel blow dryer to be safe.

I bought this because of the Dyson name and the ability to use with different voltages while I travel. There are only two settings on this , the air is not strong and it does not get very hot. If I had not thrown away the packing I would have returned it already. Waste of money, so disappointed.

Right off the bat, this hair dryer may at first seem excessively expensive, but it is a Dyson. And it is perfection. In other words, it is well worth it. I have had several hair dryers over the years and I cannot be more effusive in communicating how good it is. First off, it may be tiny, but it is certainly mighty. It may be travel-sized, but it is powerful. It will rival any regular or bigger-sized hair dryer, despite its small size. I use it as my regular hair dryer, forget just for traveling. I love that it has no moving fan blades; that it is just a simple hollow circle cylinder (the hallmark of many Dyson air flow products). There is one button for the two settings (high/low) for air flow, another button for the three settings for temperature (cool/warm/hot), along with the on/off switch, all of which are very ergonomically and strategically placed within good reach of one’s thumb while holding and using the hair dryer. The hair dryer itself does not become overly hot or overheated, no matter how long it is turned on. The electrical cord is nice and thick, not flimsy at all—one can tell that it will last a long time even with repeated folding/coiling and unpacking/packing. It also comes with a styling concentrator that attaches magnetically, and the connection is very strong and sturdy, yet it is easily removable. And while not as important, I really love the rose gold color; the overall look is very classy, modern and minimalistic.

This dryer is not only good for travel but also for everyday use. It is very compact & lightweight. I’m not always a fan of the hairdryers in hotels so as a hairstylist & traveler I was excited to try this. It fits nicely in a suitcase and won’t make your arm tired using it which is why I’m planning on using it every time I wash my hair. It has two speeds, 2 heat settings and can also be used without heat. Small led lights above a switch tell you what setting you are on. The high setting is very hot! The concentrator nozzle seems to blow the hair around a lot more than without it, which is a bit different, usually it’s the opposite. It has a very long, heavy duty cord. I have natural curly hair which frizzes easily but this dryer didn't make my hair frizz, a small diffuser attachment would be a nice bonus! My hair dried pretty quickly and the colors of the dryer are pretty nice. I don’t think I’d pay the high price for it but it does a great job & the size is perfect. Powerful little dryer!
