Yes you can wake the Switch 2 with this controller

I love the controller, beware that the buttons are "clicky" similar to mechanical keyboards. I personally love the sound. The shape is the same as the switch 1 pro controller, but feels lighter. While cheaper it still feels premium. And YES you can wake the switch 2 with this controller. It just needs an initial set-up which is super simple.
I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this instead of the Switch 2 Pro Controller and its pretty good for the price! A down side though are connectivity issues I had. Whenever I paired it I would unpair the next time I turned on my switch. Other than that, great build quality!
I would recommend this to a friend
