Excellent service all around ! The whole process was a pleasure starting with my salesperson Jonathan, who went above and beyond to make sure the cooktop was the right one I needed and the installation and exchange went flawless ( first cooktop didn’t fit because of my granite countertop opening ) The contractor Reliant Installation were super profesional, from confirming appointment to arriving on time. The guys worked clean and made sure cooktop was working good before leaving.

We bought the Samsung 30" Smart Induction Cooktop w/ Wi-Fi, along with Delivery/Installation, weeks before our Home Remodel was ready to accept it, but Best Buy was accommodating and said to just tell them when. We did have to work with our General Contractor to ensure the model we picked could be accommodated by our cabinets and granite countertop. The Installers called/arrived as scheduled for a quick and easy installation. The last thing they do is put a pot of water on the Cooktop and bring it to a boil. Worked great! We cooked some of the Thanksgiving meal on it and it was perfect.

Called Geek Squad to install my new cooktop. They showed up on time and it only took them about 20 minutes to install and clean up and it looks great!

The installation went flawlessly and the cook top worked. I have to say I was replacing the same size 30" cook top and same manufacture. My custom cabinets were designed and built to accommodate the previously installed cook top and the manufacture Kitchen Aid maintained the same dimensions for ease of installation.

BestBuy’s install process for the kitchen full of appliances we purchased was flexible and attentive. We could do things like rescheduling deliveries by texting our in-store coordinator or online. We were doing a complete remodel and BB flexibly had appliances onsite when we needed them for the countertop measure, then came back for the actual install. The held them for three months as we ordered then awaited our semi-custom cabinets. They were complete pros throughout.

I love my induction cooktop. I suggest that before you invest in an induction cooktop that you should research it first. If you are use to cooking on a gas stove then an induction stove is what you need. You also must realize if your pots are not magnetic you have to buy some that are because they will not work on this cooktop

This multi billionaire conglomerate electronics has been Loooong Gone! Back in Mấy the Best Buy guys come out to my residence a Long Goner induction cooktop, the guy cracked the $3000 corner cooktop. I called them for replacement. First, they scheduled a week after my call. One day before the scheduled they texted to notify me the appointment was cancelled, merchant delayed. They rescheduled 2 weeks after that. When the day come, they rescheduled 2 weeks again, again, again, and again with 3 weeks! This July 21st will be the replacement installation, guess what, I received a Text message again delayed “merchant failed to arrive on time”. These are jokes!!!

Cooktop installation got cancelled and missing. They scheduled a pick up of an item instead of service to install. I called multiple times to get assistance to move my appointment quicker than 2 weeks and what I got was a cancelled service appointment. And it’s even missing in the system. Someone told me they will call me back and no one did. It’s a mess. Now, after calling several times, the earliest I got was in two weeks. And it’s treated like I huts purchased it today. Try requesting for a manager and they can’t even help me with it. They don’t even care After buying the whole Set of Thermador appliances and being Total Tech membership. They sold me this concierge type service and yet they can’t respond to a simple request. Bad customer service!

The installation was incomplete and unsafe. The conduit whip was not secured to the electrical box (first photo). It was just hanging by the wires through the wrong size screw-in connector. When I installed the correct size and type of connector I opened the box and saw that the ground/neutral wires were left loose - no attempt was made to connect them. That's unsafe and obviously doesn't meet code. I recommend you require the BB installers pull an electrical permit and then have the installation inspected. The installers also just dropped the cooktop into place. They didn't install the retaining clips that keep the cooktop centered in the opening to ensure ventilation and from exposing gaps (second photo). They didn't even leave the clips for us to install.

Contract personnel not professional very reluctant to do more than minimum collected additional fees by check made out to one of the installers personally. Cut countertop without any attempt to control dust.

They were friendly but seemingly unprepared. Needed to borrow tools from me to remove the old cooktop. They left a bit of a mess for us to clean up. Not the end of the world. The install looks great but missed attaching the wire harness to the wall behind the lower drawer so it would rub every time the drawer opened and closed. Once it was all done it looked great and works.
