Epson have outdone themselves with the EcoTank series and this printer is no exception. As a technology professional who installs and maintains printers I have purchased this one for myself and it is easily among the best printers I have ever owned. Pros: The operating cost and reliability are hard to beat. The setup is very straight forward and easy with the caveat that the instructions are not explicit about which bandwidth to connect to. I have mentioned this below. The savings in ink replenishment are amazing as I probably do not expect to refill for the next 12-15 months maybe longer with the amount of printing that I do. Print quality is on par with every other brand available. This printer is an upgrade from its predecessor the ET2800 and comes with a better Wi-Fi card built in for a more stable connection. Cons: The printer can be a bit of an enigma during setup as the only thing that is not clearly mentioned is that the printer connects wirelessly via the 2.4ghz network only. If your router is newer and doesn't have the 2.4 and 5 networks broadcasting as separate SSIDs it can be difficult to get the printer to connect. You will have to pause the 5ghz temporarily to enable the printer to make the connection to 2.4 and then re-enable the 5. Once that is done it will work without a hitch.

This Epson was our 2nd choice for printer to go with our new HP Laptop. The HP printer was a failure & we exchanged for this Epson which is so much simpler directions. It not only communicates with our laptop, it prints and scans to the laptop. One small complaint, it only scans 1 page at a time instead of a set of pages. Still way better than HP!

I am an Etsy seller. I am constantly needing to use my printer at the best quality. I have used many printers. For awhile I had an HP officejet printer. HP was a nightmare. So much money wasted on that subscription and ink. Then i would run out of ink quickly just to have to wait 2 weeks to receive my ink for only a few prints out of it. I would always have issues with it that I had to deny a customers purchase because of that printer. This printer removes all of that stress. No subscription mess. Ink last longer and is much cheaper. It is great quality and supports inkjet and speciality paper. Get this printer. And if you have an HP chuck that think in the dumpster.

Love the Epson EcoTank. User friendly set up and the ink lasts for months. We got this one for our college student grandaughter.

So easy to set up. You don't need wire to connect with devices

The only reason I'm giving this printer 4 stars is for the price. It was a little pricey, but I guess you could say it was worth it. I bought to be able to print slides for school. And I need the best colored printer possible. I'm sure there are cheaper options, but I needed on right then at that moment and this one was the cheapest one available. The slides use an obscene amount of color, and the printer works very well. If you have the extra money to spend on it. I do like this one. The color that it prints was worth it for me.

Great efficient printer for everyday use. Setup was a breeze! light weight and easy to manage without giving up printer speed.

The EcoTank Printers are my go to printer now in both my home and business. I bought the ET-2900 for my daughter in college and easy enough for her to setup on her own.

Prints and scans well. Set up was somewhat difficult. The automatic set up did not work, so I had to do it manually, which is not easy with the small window display and tiny print. Hopefully this unit will save me money on ink over the cartridge refills in the long run.

We graduated to this Epson printer after our old one finally wore out. We love the quality of print of black and white as well as color. The “start print” feature from our phone is a convenience. No need for cartridges is an environmental upgrade!

It took days for me to set up my printer. Once set up it’s great. The instructions could be a lot simpler with visuals for each step.

Once you finally get it set up, it works well. I am not particularly tech savvy and it took good parts of four days to get it up and running. Instructions are minimal except for 2 columns of the 4 which told how to fill the ink tanks. That was the easy part and they spent way too much time there and not enough elsewhere. Watched many videos to finally get the help i needed.

I purchased a "lower" model initially for the refillable ink. Realized the printer did not have a scanner so I returned it and purchased this model with a scanner. A few issues with the set-up, especially for wifi printing. Still working out a few kinks. But printer scans quickly and prints fast.

This Epson product works well with HP laptop and has proven easier to connect.

Setting the printer up was a pain in the backside. The little screen is rather hard to read for someone with older eyes. Setup aside, it seems to work well, both printing and scanning. It prints quickly enough for my needs is is fairly quiet while doing so.

Exceptional! Just a PSA, you will need to purchase a usb type b printer cable as it is not included for the scanning portion. Ink lasts a longggg time.

Supposedly an easy plug and play unit but find out it prints intermittently. Sometimes it needs to be saved in PDF format before it can be printed, and sometimes it is put into queue and won't be printed until sometimes later. Can't figure out what's wrong so have to schedule an in-home service with Geeks Squad (still waiting as my appointment date is 2 weeks away).

This product was very easy to set up. The ink wells were very easy to fill. The print quality is impressive. I’m very happy I made this purchase. It exceeded all my expectations. I use this printer in my home.

This is my second printer I have bought. The first one was the 2400 series. I do not recommend this product if you are not going to use it on a regular basis. Think about maintenance for everything in life. If you don’t use it, you lose it. The ink jets clog up and unless you take it somewhere, it’s difficult to get it fixed properly, so use it even if you’re printing out random pages, but keep it operating every month. otherwise you’re hundreds of dollars of investment goes down the drain. Beyond that, it prints very well and it operates well.
