I use this projector on a 100" screen and it provides amazingly crisp images. 1 HDMI 2.2 compatible input is more than adequate as I have paired my projector with an Onyko AV receiver that can handle my various 4K inputs and outputs great 7.1 Dolby Digital surround sound. Great product for the price. 4k quality bright projection tv is a great value.

Absolutely the most amazing picture I have ever seen. Beautiful deep colors and incredible black level. Super quiet and beautifully designed. Can't go wrong with EPSON. 4K content looks superb.

Image is crystal clear, colors are bright and pop out at you. It's best projector for the money hands down

Unbelievable picture...just wish more television contact was available in something better than 1080i. Still Wow. Large unit. Fan is quiet compared to my older Sony even in High Lamp mode. Screen adjustments are almost infinite and can be set up in so many ways. I cannot say how thrilled I am with the quality. 1080p Blurays are phenomenal.

I bought this projector after looking at several of the Epson series and the Sony 4k versions. The pros on this is it's plug and go operation. Very simple to setup, and the wifi connection has worked well for me so far (occasionally it disconnects, but overall it's been nice). I have my Xbox and Apple TV connected to it. AS a Con, to the projector, I think the throw distance it has listed is off. I unfortunately learned that the hard way and am throwing a little too close for the Zoom. Still, overall it's an awesome projector and I'm really happy with it.

I have set up plenty of projectors. I have 4 in my office and I have one at my home. I have setup projectors at coworkers and friends houses. By far this one is the best and coolest. Its pretty big which is my only con I am going to give it, but its spectacular. If I could afford it I would put this in my house, but for now, it stays in my large conference room.

Grate picture quality, this one wont come with built in wifi, for this price it shold come with wifi, you have to buy $100 dongle if wifi is needed, infrared HD transmeter is a waste of money which often loose signals, i did wired connection finally, other than these 2 issues everything is grate.

The sharpness, color and contrast off this projector are stunning. This projector performs at a level I have only seen previously at $10K+ I've waited for this model since it was announced and well worth it. It is whisper quiet as well. Whereas not true 4K, the pixel doubling for 4K emulation does improve resolution. Suitable for a moderately bright room. Very pleased.

I upgraded from an epson 3020 and I can tell the difference.

This is the best projector that I have used for 4K so far. It is not true 4K, as it is a "Pixel Shifter", but it is much better than 1080p, and the HDR capability also improves the picture tremendously. Wireless HDMI is great as well to save on cable clutter and long cable runs. Highly recommended projector.

I was going to wait for the new Epson true 4K model to come out in a few months, but when I saw this go on sale I just had to get it. I have this mounted in my living room with a lot of ambient light and it cuts through it like butter. I can watch sports well in daylight with curtains closed and watch streaming apps galore. Throw in a Blu-ray and my jaw dropped. I had another Epson before and though it was around 1k in price I thought it was superb. Having this up I wonder why I waited. This is hands down the best one I have viewed and my buddy has another well into 5k price range and this beats it. Order it and you won't regret it.

I upgraded from an Epson 3020 to this Epson 5040UBE. I can tell a difference with clarity. I did not have to upgrade all my equipment to get a 4K view.

This is my first projector so I cant compare to others. With the blu-ray disks its great but with HD television its not that great. Ill keep adjusting it maybe I’ll get a bettef picture.

Moving up from a epson 3020 (which I was was very happy with) to this has been night and day. The picture quality is amazing and gives you that wow factor each time. The electronic lens shift is by far the best part of this projector. Ensure proper alignment without all the fuss. Very happy can't wait to pair this with the elite screens curved screen!

This projector is absolutely amazing! It was installed in a basement movie theater along with some Sonos speakers for surround sound and it can't get any better especially when it comes to watching sporting events and movies or just regular TV.

This is my first projector I had it up in two hour I bought mount and 135 in screen on amazon the projector has to be level when you put it up the wireless is amazing I hooked up 4 devices PS4,Xbox 1,channel master,kodi box.everything works without any lag time on any device.the picture is amazing .

My 5030ube went bad after only a couple months of limited use. I was lucky that Best Buy Magnolia allowed me to return and upgrade to this unit. Picture quality is much better on my Screen Innovations 120. It is too new for me to give 4 stars. However I wouldnt trade this for 2 5030ube's!!!!

The projector is great and has a great picture. Sadly it did not fit my screen.
