return window is insanely short. printer was delivered on march 25th & the date to return by was april 9th. that’s not even enough time to really test out all of its features, so I guess I’m keeping it or reselling it. from what I actually did get to do, which was print, again, I got the printer march 25th & here it is may 2nd & I’m already out of ink. I shouldn’t have to purchase ink every month or every other month. I try not to be harsh on reviews so I really don’t know if I would recommend this printer or not— this is my first time purchasing a printer.

Just got it installed so I don't have much of an opinion but I liked my older epson all in one better and don't like that tiny touch screen on this machine, guess I'll get used to it

Overall, for the price range this printer falls into, this is a great buy for anyone who has a moderate level of printing. It's loaded with features, produces high-quality text and photo prints, and does so rather quickly. Scanning takes a little work to set up, but once you do, the scanner combined with the Epson software makes it easy enough to digitalize a lot of documents. TLDR VERSION A great printer for the price. PROS: - Compact size, not terribly heavy - Decent size paper tray - Fast printing speeds - Touch screen allows you to perform scanning and maintenance features right from the printer - While numerous, accompanying apps are powerful and relatively easy to use, especially once configured. - Reasonable ink consumption, and 4 separate ink cartridges (why do printer makers still make combined-color cartridges anymore?????) CONS: - Scanning is a bit slow, and scanning feeder does not duplex. - Touchscreen display is a little too small to make it easy to use, could have easily been much wider. - Numerous accompanying apps mean a lot of confusion until you figure out which ones you need and for what purpose. REVIEW I've both owned and set up a lot of printers over the past few years from different brands. I'm comfortable with technology and had to troubleshoot printers for family members, and have had to "settle" for whatever was available on the shelf during COVID when printers were in such high demand they were hard to find anywhere. I've noticed some very gradual improvements in both the setup and usage of these devices, and my opinions of the brands have waivered quite a bit. For overall use, I have found Epson, a brand I avoided decades ago, to be the most capable when it comes to software. Epson has a lot of software accompanying the full-package installations, and each app seems to have a different purpose. Personally, I think it would be better to combine these apps into one or two, but that can make the app a little confusing, so I understand why Epson made the decision to keep them all separated. Some apps are for printing and scanning functions (which you would use regularly), others are for creative purposes (photos and craft projects), and others are utilities (network troubleshooting, maintenance). For someone who is overwhelmed by this, it's helpful that you can put the apps you need for daily usage on the Taskbar or Dock (Windows and Mac, respectively) and let the others get lost until you need them. SETUP The Epson WF-2960 printer can be setup and used with any combination of computers and mobile devices. I chose to set up the printer with my iPhone. You will need to download the Epson Smart Panel app from your device's app store - they provide a QR code to lead you to the right app (and you should use this because at least for me, the first app that appeared when I just search the iOS app store was NOT the app I needed). From there, the app functions very similar to your text messaging app. You see a conversation between you and the app, and the app will ask you questions, or give you instructions on what to do next, and then give you a chance to respond. I think this is a friendly way to handle this process, especially for someone who is not very comfortable setting up a printer. I did get a little confused as the process went on, as sometimes the printer was asking me if I wanted to do something at the same time the app was, and I wasn't sure if one would affect the other, but it didn't. I timed the process, and including preparing the ink cartridges, it took me about 12 minutes to set it up. Then I was immediately notified of a firmware update (the internal software on the printer). I let that run and it took about 5 minutes. DO NOT interrupt this process! It will look like it is not doing anything because there is no animation on the screen, but it IS working. It will restart once complete. PRINTING Once the printing gets going, the printing speeds are rather quick. I have another printer, and that one prints a little faster, but it's barely noticeable. I printed 4 photos in 3.50 x 5.00 size (4 to a page), and on regular paper, it only took about 10 seconds. I printed 2 pages (front and back) of text, and it took just under 10 seconds, most of that being the process of pulling the paper back in to print on the back (yes, this printer duplex-prints). The text was very clear, no "fuzzies" or any artifacts that I could see. The colors in the photos were very true to the original pictures. I honestly could not say that anything looked washed out or over saturated. I did not print the photos with any "photo" settings, meaning I just sent them to the printer and let the printer handle those settings, if it did anything at all. I appreciated that the paper was not saturated or dark colors appearing to bleed through. I don't know, but I would imagine this reduces ink usage. Speaking of ink usage, I certainly hope that this printer is efficient, because the ink cartridges are tiny! I know that the cartridges that come with a new printer are below the capacity of a new box of ink cartridges, but so far I'm pleased. After setting up the printer, printing pages to calibrate print-head alignment, printing a test page (x2, one for 2 different computers), then printing a couple of pages of text and the 4 photos, the ink levels had barely moved. Scanning is a bit noisy. There is a quiet mode that can be turned on in the settings, and while it helps, it slows the printing speed a bit. This may or may not be worth the tradeoff depending on your situation. SCANNING Scanning is where many all-in-one printers fail in my opinion. On the plus side, this printer has a document feeder, allowing it to scan a stack of pages. Unfortunately, this document feeder does NOT scan both sides simultaneously, a feature that most all-in-one printers seem to lack, and I don't know why. The scanner is rather slow as well. If you are scanning a stack of say, 10 sheets, expect it to take a few minutes. I do like the way the Epson Scan Smart app helps this issue. You have the option to scan directly to PDF or JPG, just like most scanners have always had. However, you can scan to this app as well, and it actually acts as a "holding" place until you are ready to finalize the scan and send it to wherever you want. This means that while it doesn't duplex scan, you can scan one side, then scan the other, and then click and drag to rearrange the page order before you save it. I still knock my review of any all-in-one that cannot duplex scan, but this is at least a feasible workaround. Once scanned into the Epson Scan Smart app, you can save the document, send it to a new email as an attachment, or send it to a cloud storage location (requires configuration first). One feature I like about Epson scanners, whether independent or part of an all-in-one printer, is that you can initiate a scan from the device, and send it to the computer, or to cloud storage. The Epson Connect service allows you to connect your cloud accounts (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc) to your Epson Connect account, and then scan directly from the device to one of these accounts, and even select a folder in that account to put the document. This worked as expected with this printer. The only problem I ran into and could not overcome was the ability to select which computer I wanted to scan to when scanning directly to the computer. I set this up on a Windows 10 PC and a Macbook Pro. When I selected the option to scan to the computer, I had to "Search again" a couple of times, and the Windows computer finally appeared, but I could never get my Macbook Pro to appear in this list, even though I have the correct software installed on both computers and the app was even open, confirming that it had a connection to the printer/scanner. The only way I could scan to my Mac was to put the document in the feeder or on the glass, and then initiate the scan from the Smart Scan app on the Mac. That is a bit of a problem if the Mac and the printer are not close to each other, such as in different rooms or floors in the house. OTHER PRINTING Of course, you can easily print to this printer (and scan as well) using a mobile device. The Epson Smart Panel app used to set up the printer can also help you print a variety of documents from your device. I have more than one Epson printer in my home, and one annoyance I had with this app is how difficult it was just to switch between each of those printers. You actually have to go through the app as though you are configure the printer for the first time, and then select a printer on your network, just to switch devices. This is not a user-friendly design. However, when I try to print a document, such as from the Notes app on my iOS device, both printers appear as options and I was easily able to print to my WF-2960 without involving any other app. APPS Again, there are a lot of apps that come with the installation when installing the full package onto your computer (PC or Mac). The Epson Scan Smart is the main one you will need if you use the scanner. Go to the Settings button on the top right to set up your scanning configuration before you start scanning, and this will make the app very useful to you. Being able to preview, delete pages, add additional scanned pages, and rearrange them before saving the document makes this app really useful. Overall, highly recommended printer!

Every time the printer does a system update, the current ink cartridges show an error and are useless. I am now buying new ink cartridges for the third time even though the ones I have are almost full. I have spent hours trying to troubkeshoot the issue. That is my one and only issue with the printer. I love everything else about it, so it is really disappointing to have this issue!

The Epson Workforce WF-2960 printer is a good high-quality printer with fax and a document feeder for making multiple copies with ease. It has two apps available for set up or you can manually set it up with the touch screen display. I had no issues with Epson I-Print however I had ongoing issues with the Epson Smart Panel app. Even though I had the printer set up in the I Print app and it showed up for set up in the Epson Smart panel app it would not acknowledge that it recognized the printer even though I could see it on my phone screen in the app. This was very annoying and I went around in circles trying to get it connected to no avail. Then after ignoring it for an hour or more suddenly it was working. I did have it wired to a Cat 5e cable to a mesh satellite of the best brand available so I do not see what the issue was. What a real pain in the rear but now that it is working and did a software update it seems to be working fine. I do not like the small ink cartridges that come with this printer. With all of the eco tank and other large capacity ink printers available, I do not appreciate the apparent continuous ink scam with them constantly making it harder to use after-market ink with software implementations. The quality of prints is good and it has all of the features you could ask for but come on. Why can’t we have a large ink capacity with high-quality prints and a document feeder. Not only that I can not even find any ink for this printer because it is so new and it clearly states the ink cartridges that come with it are not fully filled as a normal ink cartridge would be. I love the printer but hate the continuous ink money games. I have a lot of other printers so we will see how this pans out in the long run. Time will tell if it turns out to be worth it to me and my family. Hopefully, I will not get price gauged to much when ink is available or I will go with whatever solution makes the most sense. If I knew how much I could get ink for and they would offer XL tanks for the colors besides black we could be good to go. Hopefully, it will work out because otherwise, I like the footprint the print quality and the full set of features! Since I do not know when the ink will be available or how much it will cost to print a wide range of things I can not recommend it yet!

----- SUMMARY ----- Verdict: The Epson WorkForce WF-2960 All-in-One Inkjet Printer provides everything I need in a home printer and more. It’s reliable, fast, convenient, and produces high-quality prints. The mobile app and voice-activated printing are neat features to have as well. From the initial setup to today, I haven’t experienced any issues. If you’re looking for an all-in-one printer, the WorkForce WF-2960 is a solid choice. Pros: - Compact, space-saving design - Easy setup process - Fast printing - Excellent print quality - Reliable - Supports Wi-Fi connectivity - Convenient paper handling - Voice-activated printing Cons: - None ----- DETAILS ----- Design: At 10 inches tall and a little over 16 inches wide, the Epson WorkForce WF-2960 All-in-One Inkjet Printer is pretty compact for an all-in-one. The input and output paper trays can slide into the printer when not in use for reduced footprint on your desk or wherever you decide to place it. On the back of the printer, there’s the power input, a LAN port, a USB port, an EXT port, and a LINE port. The front has a power button (with indicator light), a home button, a received fax light, a 2.4” color touchscreen, and a help button. The touchscreen is bright when illuminated (it automatically goes to sleep) and convenient to use. I just wish it was slightly bigger because some of the buttons are a bit small. Setup: There are only a few steps to complete the setup process for the Epson WorkForce WF-2960. First, you unpack everything, then you choose your setup method (either the smartphone app or on a computer). I chose the smartphone app and found it to be an easy, guided experience. You’ll turn on and configure the printer which involves choosing some basic settings like your language, date/time format, and Wi-Fi (or you can choose a USB or Ethernet connection). After that, you install the included ink cartridges, then the printer will start “charging” the ink. Lastly, you install the Epson software on your computer, and then you’re ready to print. The setup process took me about 10 minutes, and I didn’t experience any issues. Print Quality: Whether I print in black and white or in color, the print quality is excellent. I’m impressed by the crisp text and vibrant colors. Scans and copies are also high quality. What’s also impressive is the speed at which it does everything. Features: Aside from the excellent print quality and speed, my favorite features of the WorkForce WF-2960 are the 150-sheet paper tray, automatic 2-sided printing, and individual ink cartridges. The 150-sheet paper tray prevents you from loading paper frequently, and the automatic 2-sided printing helps you save paper. Since the printer uses individual ink cartridges, you can just replace the one ink cartridge you need, which is nice because they rarely all empty at the same rate. Another feature I’ve never had with a printer before is hands-free, voice-activated printing. There are select commands you can use with Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant, such as asking the Epson printer to print your to-do or shopping list. Features like these make the WorkForce WF-2960 a productive and versatile all-in-one printer. Software: Epson’s Smart Panel app offers easy mobile printing as well as a variety of useful features, like the ability to check the printer status and ink levels, and initiate firmware updates or print head cleaning. The computer software is similar. Both are easy to use and reliably communicate with the printer. ----- WHAT’S IN THE BOX ----- 1 x WorkForce WF-2960 All-in-One Printer 1 x Power Cord 4 x Claria 222 Ink Cartridges (1 x Black Ink Cartridge and 3 x Color Ink Cartridges) 1 x Quick Start Guide

When I first received my Epson Workforce WF-2960 All-in-One Printer, I was surprised by the small size and light weight of the box. This was supposed to be a full-functioned printer. I have had numerous printers in the past and they were always of large size and great heft. How could they get all of that in one small package, I wondered? I was even more surprised, when I removed the printer from its box. It had a very petite footprint. Now, would this small machine do all the things that it touted and do them well? I walked through the start-up, referencing the ‘WF-2960 Start Here’ guide and removed all the protective tape and other materials that had kept it safe during shipping. I then plugged the power cord into the unit and into a surge protected power strip. There are two set-up methods from which to choose. The first involves downloading the free Epson Smart Panel application from your Apple or Android app stores, then using your phone or tablet to perform set-up. The second skips to the “Turn on and Configure” section of the guide. I selected the second choice of “Turn on and Configure” and it involves turning on the printer, selecting your language from the 2.5” touch screen and then selecting ‘Continue set-up without the app.’ Once you have continued, you select and set your country, date and time. Then you are instructed to install the ink cartridges. This involves lifting the scanner unit from the front until its hinges lock in place. The ink carriage will be in place and is well marked to show what ink cartridge goes where and in what position. The guide says to gently shake only the black ink cartridge prior to removing it from its packaging. The color cartridges are not to be shaken. Then cut and remove the clear vacuum packaging from the cartridge and remove only the yellow tape, while only touching the top and sides of the cartridge. Once the black cartridge has been inserted into the ink carriage into the Black position, and has been pushed and clicked into place, proceed to do the same for the other three colored ink cartridges, by removing the yellow tape, positioning the cartridge straight down into its correct color holder and pushing it until it clicks. (I did not sense any clicking sounds, when I did this, but I did check to make sure that each cartridge was secure.) Please note that you must use genuine Epson ink. This unit uses Epson Claria 222 series inks. Black uses the 222120 Standard-capacity cartridge or 222XL120 High-capacity cartridge. The Cyan cartridge is 222220; Magenta is 222320; and Yellow is 222420, all in Standard-sized cartridges. As of now, Best Buy is the only place that I can find that sells these cartridges. Once all cartridges are securely in place, lower the scanner unit. Push past any resistance, until it is all the way down. The touch screen will display ‘Installed’, which you need to select, then the printer will charge the ink so that it will be available for printing. This will take around 5 minutes. The screen will announce the completion of the charging. Then, the next step is to align the print and adjust the print quality. You can delay this step until later, but I highly suggest that you complete this step immediately to ensure the best output from the printer. I was very glad I did. Load four Letter-sized (8.5” x11”) plain paper sheets into the bottom paper cassette (tray). These will be used for the four steps of alignment and adjustment. Closely follow the instructions on the screen to determine which number to choose for each step. I suggest using a magnifying glass to closely view the output of each step to determine the best adjustment. If this step is done properly, your printer output will be beautiful, as was mine. It was now time to load the paper into the paper cassette. I loaded mine with around 150 sheets of plain Letter-sized paper, though this printer can handle a large variety of papers and card stock. Please be aware that if you use coated paper that is one-sided, such as glossy photo paper, then you have to load the glossy side down in the cassette. Keep the edges of the stack of paper even and slide the paper edge guides lightly against the paper to ensure a straight and even path through the printer. The LCD touch screen will prompt you to connect a fax line. If you have a phone line available, then follow the instructions. I do not have a landline or Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone line to connect, so I skipped this step. Now, it was time to download the Epson Printer Drivers and Application Software onto the computer. At this point, your printer is not yet connected to your computer. You need to visit the Epson site and choose the WF-2960 printer from the list. There is a complete software package that can be downloaded. This gives you all the functionality of the printer, scanner and copier. It also provides specific photo, envelope and card printing applications. You will need an Internet connection on your computer for this download, as there is not a driver CD-ROM provided. Once you have downloaded and installed the computer software, follow the instructions in the software set-up to ‘Select Your Connection’ between the printer and the computer. You have three choices: Wireless Connection (you must have a wireless router that supports a 2.4GHz network, and the printer and the computer must be logged into the same network to connect); Direct USB Connection (you must provide your own USB cable); and a Wired (Ethernet) Network Connection (you must provide your own Ethernet cable.) My router only supports a 5.0GHz network connection. In order to accommodate this printer, I had to add an additional router that supports 2.4Ghz. To prevent the network from slowing down while only using the computer and not the printer, I will switch back and forth between networks when using the printer. So, it was time to try out the functions of the WF-2960. First, I printed out a plain document. The printing was very fast, and words on the page were dark and crisp. The printer does print duplex (both sides of the paper) and does this very quickly. Then, with the scanning application, I scanned a color leaflet that I had lying around. The scan was fast, the images clean and the colors were relatively accurate. Keep in mind that in order to know if colors are truly accurate, you must have a color calibrated computer monitor. I then put a document through the copier document feeder. The document fed accurately and scanned and copied in a few seconds. I found that the document feeder will not scan a two-sided document, without turning it over manually (a feature I assume you have to give up due to the unit’s small footprint). I then loaded a couple of pieces of Epson Glossy Photo paper face down into the printer, on top of the plain paper sheets that were already loaded. I opened the provided Epson Photo + application, input the appropriate settings into the application and then found that I had to change the paper settings on the printer touchscreen as well. I then printed a borderless 8.5” x 11” color photo from my computer. Somewhere along the way in the settings, I had turned on Quiet Printing. This slowed down the photo printing process dramatically, even though I was printing in Standard mode. The print was slow, as stated, but the results were remarkable. The print was very fine photo quality. I downloaded the Epson Smart Panel application onto my Android phone. I found the application was very intuitive, and made it quickly and easily able to connect to the printer and set up for a photo to be printed off of my phone. The printer responded immediately, but this is where I ran into an issue. The printer started printing onto the glossy photo paper, but had also picked up a piece of plain paper, which was about two inches in on top of the photo paper. I was unable to stop the printing in time and it was a tremendous waste of ink and expensive photo paper. To keep this from occurring again, I removed all the plain paper from the paper cassette, and placed only photo paper into it faced down. I tried the print again, with the printer setting off of quiet mode and set on Fine mode printing. The output was fast and beautiful. I am impressed, especially since I did not believe that the photo output on this printer would be this good with only three colors of ink and a black. This Epson WF-2960 All-In-One Printer does it all well and with a very small foot print. I would suggest this printer to anyone who needs a great multi-functional printer and doesn’t have a large area to place it.

Great printer for small business/home office. Finally, print cartridges that don’t cost more than the printer itself. This is a terrific all around printer that can handle high volume scans and print. The color printing looks great and the speed is spot on. It’s perfect for small business/home office use. Plus, it’s easy to setup and operate, perfect for those who might be a little intimidated with setting up a printer. IN THE BOX You get the printer, a power cable, ink cartridges (more on these in a moment) and an instructional manual. I wish it came with a USB cable, but given that it’s primarily billed as a Wi-Fi printer, so I understand it. But USB is the easiest way to get setup and going immediately. SETUP The instructional manual takes you to the Epson app. So, after plugging in the power and turning it on, you download the app and it walks you through it. THe app you download is the Epson Smart Panel. It’s fine, but like most Epson apps (if you’ve ever used them) it’s a bit outdated. When you get the app going, my phone found the printer pretty quickly, and then there was like an automatic chat feature that walked me through the process. The app tells you what to do (i.e. install the ink cartridges) and gives you the option of “showing you” via videos if you’re unsure what to do. It made the process really simple. At some point, the app tells you to go to the touchscreen to complete the alignment. This is a 5-10 minute process where the printer prints out several sheets of paper and you input which options were properly aligned. It’s dead simple to do to ensure proper printing. At this point, your printer should be connected to your Wi-Fi. You could plug in USB to your computer for direct connection, but there’s really no need. I can’t speak to Mac computers, but if you open up the Printers in Windows setting, search for printers, and as long as you’re on the same Wi-Fi as the printer, you should easily find it. From there, you’re set to print. To get scanning features, however, you have to install the Epson Scan software on your computer. This will require some internet search, but you can find it easily. Once it’s installed, you’re able to use the touchscreen on the printer and scan to your computer. EASE OF USE/PERFORMANCE First, the performance. I printed a 20+ page black and white document and while I didn’t time the speed in which it printed, I was really satisfied with the speed. The speed dropped when inserting some color documents, but the speed was negligible. Bottom line is that printing speed and quality is not an issue. In terms of scanning documents, I was pleased with the speed and accuracy. On the top of the printer is a document feeder that allows you to scan multi page documents. I didn’t test the limits of how many pages it could hold and scan at one time, but I easily scanned a 30 page document. I’m guessing it could hold about 50. Even if you scanned pages in batches, the Epson software allows you to add scanned pages before saving the final document. The scans came in straight despite the volume of pages scanned. If you’re scanning a single page, or say a photo, where quality is crucial, you can lift the lid and place a document on the glass scanner. This also applies for papers that aren’t 8.5 x 11. Other than lifting the lid, the process is the same, when you hit scan the Epson software opens on your computer and you can save it where you want from there. FEATURES/MISC I want to mention a few other things - first being ink. I own an Epson Ecotank. The features in that model are very similar to this Workforce printer. The only difference is the ink. The Ecotank is my favorite printer because the ink is cheap and the tanks hold a lot and print a lot of pages before needing to be refilled. Bottom line, it’s efficient and cheap to replace ink. So, I was a bit concerned about this printer requiring cartridges. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how relatively cheap the cartridges are. Clearly, you’re saving money on this model vs. the Ecotank, and it’s nice to see Epson isn’t overcharging you on replacement ink. But I do have some issue with the cartridges that come with this printer. They’re labeled as “charging” cartridges, meant for charging the printing head. And then there’s a warning that you might not get as much printing out of these cartridges as replacement ones. It’s not a huge deal given the relatively low cost of replacement ink, but I’m still waiting for companies to deliver the XL ink cartridges in the box and making them the “only” ones you can buy. Printing from your phone. This is important to me. Sometimes I get something on my phone that I need to print. It’s much easier just printing from my phone than to email it to myself, then log into my computer and print from there. I can’t speak to Apple devices, but I am operating on a Windows computer and Android phone. There’s two ways to print from your phone, one, you can add your printer to Google Printing services (which I didn’t do) and the other is from the Epson app itself. In fact, the Epson app, for its visual flaws, is pretty robust and easy to understand. You can pretty much do anything from your phone, scanning/printing. Again, I was impressed at how easy it was to do. CONCLUSION If you have the option, I would recommend the Epson Ecotank over the workforce because of the cheaper ink. But this is a competitively priced printer with relatively cheap ink in its own right. Not to mention that it has the same features as similar Epson Ecotank products. This is a great business printer that handles all your small business/home office needs.

The small and lightweight Epson WF 2960 has been a solid performer so far. Out of the box, users are instructed to install the companion smartphone app and follow the setup instructions within the app, which are clear and easy to follow. I had no problem installing the ink, adding the printer to our home Wi-Fi, and printing from both PC’s and smart devices. The 2960 can use regular or extra capacity Epson ink cartridges (Use of third-party ink cartridges is not advised). I also performed a firmware update through the app which was also easy and user friendly to complete. Lastly, the app also offers optional product registration if desired. For those who prefer not to use the app, the printer can also be configured through the full-color LCD touchscreen. Print speed is fast enough for our home printing needs and print quality is very good. Text and images are sharp and crisp with no visible printing anomalies. Both B/W and color printing work well. The 2960 is an all-in-one, so it also functions as a copier, scanner, and fax machine. It has both a flatbed scanning glass and automatic document feeder. The scan and copy features both also work well. I seldom send personal faxes anymore, but it’s a nice feature to have if needed. Despite being a full-featured multi-function, the 2960 has a small footprint and does not take up much space. It also does not generate excessive noise or heat during use.

This is a fantastic little printer. Not big and clunky and smaller than my last. Loaded with a ton of features. Best part of this printer is the compatibility to use it with my phone. The problem these days are most things are done with your smart phone so with my last printer I would have to constantly send stuff from my phone to my pc and now that problem is gone I honestly don’t know how I lived without it all this time. The only negative thing I would say I have an issue with the printer is the initial set up process for it. I’m not saying the setup was hard by any means but it was long and tedious. There were a ton of steps to do and a lot of them in my opinion were not necessary and a huge waste of the ink that came with it. We’re living in a time where everything costs more including ink cartridges so seems a bit odd they are having you waste ink for testing the same things over and over again. Other than that the printer has been fantastic so far and I would highly recommend this model and brand(first time ever using this brand)

Epson is constantly evolving their products. This Wf 2960 is proof of them constantly doing this. I have used their order version and their setup process has gotten better. Since I already had a Epson account it took about 30 mins to set up. 1 firmware update and I was in. I set up cloud scanning and remote printing and all. Cloud scanning is my go to. I use a family account and we can all pool and share the scanned location easily. WiFi setup was super simple. Multi document scanner is a plus. USB printing was easy. Print speed is pretty fast. I used android phone with no issue. I am running 13. This is direct print from Android. Using Epson software was pretty easy too. Touch screen on this version is much better than the non touch screen older version that I have. Way easier to setup. Ink size seems small so replacements might run you a bit if you print a lot. I did not use the fax option as.i don't use fax anymore. Based on previous use and experience I would recommend this product. Epson is a solid buy and use for multifunction printer.

It was a breeze to install, it prints over Wifi flawlessly and the print quality is perfect. And the price is really good. I don't know how much the ink cartridge will last the proce for the ink is average for most printers. Its not an issue for me, since I won't be using that much. But I am really satisfied with the purchase.

Although it took a techie friend to set this up for me, the printer is good. Much easier to load ink cartridges than my old Epson WF. Copies are crisp.

Great printer. Easy to set up and use. Output quality excellent.

Prints clear copy. Uses standard paper. Ink is similar to that used in the WF2750 , which this printer replaced. This printer satisfies our simple needs (which, btw, includes two-sided printing—an additional paper-saving feature) We are pleased with our purchase.

Nice multi-function for the home or home office as long as your print volume is low. I like the Epson scanner software. I didn't give it 5 stars because they removed the ability to do 2-2 copying and scanning, which used to be available in this product line.

Actually pretty nice - I printed some photos and they're not photo shop great but good enough. Great for just everyday needs. As always wait for the sales.

This is an excellent wireless printer and very easy to set up. The price is also very reasonable and offers color prints as well as black and white printing.

Easy to install, best bang for your buck and can't say enough good things about it. Would highly recommend the total tech for any headaches that may occur.
