I’ve been extremely impressed with the Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals V2. The build quality is excellent, installation was straightforward, and they paired seamlessly with my Fanatec ClubSport DD+ wheelbase. Within minutes I was up and running on PC, and the improvement in braking consistency and overall control was immediately noticeable. The 90kg load cell brake is the standout feature. It feels far more realistic than traditional potentiometer-based pedals and makes trail braking and threshold braking much easier to develop. Whether I’m racing in F1 25, Assetto Corsa EVO, or even enjoying a more casual session in Forza Horizon 6, these pedals provide excellent precision and confidence. The adjustability is another huge plus. Being able to fine-tune the pedal feel helped me dial in a setup that feels comfortable for both Formula-style and GT-style driving. One public service announcement for new owners: connect the pedals directly to your PC via USB first and perform any firmware updates before connecting them through the wheelbase. Do not connect the USB cable and wheelbase RJ12 connection at the same time, as Fanatec specifically advises against this. Taking a few minutes to update the pedals first will save you potential headaches during setup. Overall, these pedals offer outstanding performance for the price and have been one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my sim racing rig.
