I saw this movie a few times years ago, and I wanted my daughter to see it, so it was time to get it on DVE, and it did not disappoint. It's timelss.

I watched this movie because I thought it looked very interesting, and I really love Nichole Kidman movies. I am not however, a fan of Tom Cruise, but it looked like it had a really great story. I liked the romance between the actor and actress, but the ending was weak. I really wanted them to go into it a little more, and I thought it was a bit cheesy. Well, the whole movie was somewhat cheesy, but I hoped that at least they would have expanded on their lives after they got their land. I was pretty into it the whole movie, and then they lost me at the end. Not something I would go out of my way to watch again.

I found 'Far and Away' to be a better than average movie. It just gets a little long at times, and probably could have been tightened some. Still, worth the buy for those who enjoyed it. Widescreen.

One of the best movies I have ever seen Tom Cruise in. Nicole Kidman was great. Story line was original and kept my interest.

Two over rated actors star in this movie that never got my interest.
