FF7 rebirth is just an evolution of what remake started in the best ways possible, you have more attacks, weapons, and characters you can play as. While at first I though the switch 2 version would be a lot worse then my ps5 version it’s honestly not the case, yah it’s not 60fps and the resolution is lower but it still feels amazing to play. I’m really glad I got this because now I have a version that is portable and can take anywhere. Also side not but I’m glad I got it here because it came at launch so that was a plus. But yah it’s a really good game, if you like action RPGs then you have to get it, the story, characters, and environment are just amazing. Combat has so much depth and layers so your always looking for more way to mix and match party members and equipment. I truly can’t recommend it enough.

I mainly bought this for the promo card of Zack, which came perfectly. I already own thos game on the PS5 but because of the promo, had to buy this as well. Worth it for Zack fans!

Sold the card for $40. Sold the game for $35. Bought it digitally for $25 a month later. I win?

I have thìs game in the ps5 and ps5 pro as well as the switch 2 now. While the ps5 pro version is the best version of thìs game and seems the system was made for it specifically it runs as good as pc if not better and smoother and you have to do many mods on pc to get it running well. The switch 2 version seems like the ps5 original version when locked at 30 fps, with actually a little more clarity because the original ps5 version was a little bit fuzzier visuals in my opinion. The biggest difference in the switch 2 version is that they just took away some physical objects out of certain areas in the towns and busy places to make it work and run well on the switch 2. We are mostly talking about some less NPC’S in areas, or less tables and chairs, trees, bushes in some largely condensed areas but it is not to the point where it makes the game look completely barren in anyway, and if you never played in on another system you really wouldn’t notice because these compromises only help make the game run very smooth for a small handheld system. All of the main aesthetics, the main character's models, enemies, art direction, world building, and main story elements of the game are amazing and bring you on the adventure you are meant to experience. Also the combat is simply amazing and still very smooth in thìs version of the game as well, the combat system is still one of the best created in my opinion, the fact that it is both action and and turned best at the same time and you can choose to play it both ways or one way either hot keys for abilities for action or command menu switch in real time while in combat is simply amazing, and doing the slow motion while selecting a command if you want to is icing on the cake. The story, the characters, and the way the characters dialogue’s are interacting with eachother is the best representation of these characters sense the original game in 1997 and thìs while remake trilogy is brining together the whole compilation of the final fantasy Vll in thìs three part remake series in the best ways. I would highly recommend playing the first part which is FF7 remake intergrade, then diving into thìs world of rebirth. The first part, remake intergrade is more like a tight corridor yakuza type of experience and rebirth is the more open world concept while showing you what a lot of ff7 world has to offer. Both of these game are amazing and a perfect way to get ready for the third and finally part of this trilogy FF7 Revelation which will be the full realization of this series and utilizing the whole world and resolve this whole series for next spring of 2027. If you love rpg’s, final fantasy, action combat and just an amazing story and great characters in entertainment, you could dive deep and inter-pert the story of ff7 with a lot of aspects of the real world we live in today or see how everything connects sense the original in 1997, it’s an amazing experience and Hopfully more people get to really enjoy thìs experience of one of the greatest games ever made, not saying it is perfect and it had its criticisms but the amazing parts of these games is transcending!!!

While its not 60 FPS it runs well. The game itself is an amazing story, this port while not the best is a great portable version. If you want to play this portable then definately get it on Switch 2, if you want the best looking version at a higher frame rate get it on PS5. That said if Switch 2 is your only console then this port does not disappoint at all.

I always wanted to play FF7 Remake and Rebirth on a handheld device. This Switch 2 version really delivers. The graphics are okay but runs fairly smooth. Any fan of this franchise will really enjoy having this in their collection.

Love this game, but not as much as Remake. The open world concept and fetch quests make for a good game, but it feels a little like it’s trying to be Breath of the Wild, just the open worlding is nowhere as good.

Part two of a three part series. Still enjoyable coming from someone who played the original. I think it would be fun for new comers too.

Absolutely beautiful on the switch 2 I’m surprised it was pulled off! 10/10 game would recommend

How did they pull this one off? It looks great on the console, and we've been playing in handheld mode and it looks and functions great there too.

I have bought it 3 times and this one is the best for me so far being able to hit it on the go

For my money, this is the most impressive switch 2 port yet, probably only rivaled by Cyberpunk. I played rebirth on ps5 when it came out and while this switch version is inferior, it’s still a perfectly competent and legitimately impressive version of the game. Having an experience this massive with this level of visual fidelity on a handheld is mindblowing. It’s an insane value for the price and is a must have for any switch 2 owner, even if you haven’t played its predecessor.

I had been waiting for this to release on Switch 2. Im not very happy with the Key Card option. I know this is not the fault of BestBuy but still would have been nice to have a larger cartridge or two to hold the full game. When picking up my pre order this was a time where the item was not damaged at pick up. There have been times where my pre orders have been damaged and they are still handed to me to pick up. I generally end up returning it right then and there and asking for a replacement. So Im glad this one did not have that issue.

Very happy with the purchase. Bought this to experience another playthrough on the Switch with my wife and the promo MTG card that came with it was a fantastic bonus. The background textures can loook a bit rough at times but it is well worth the sacrifice for the convenience of the Switch experience.
