Q: Will pre-order be for the "early purchase edition" w/ bonuses (including FF7 remake and MTG pack)?
A: The cards are physically in the box and you no longer need a code the digital bonus content is in the main menu to download in the game. Square Enix confirmed it and code is not needed.

Q: Does this also include the original FF7?
A: No, this is a remake of FF7 made from the ground up, FF7 Remake is part 1 of a three part game trilogy that will remake the entire original game. Part 2 is Rebirth, which released in 2024, and is available on PS5 and PC. Part 3 is still in development as of writing and has not been released yet. This specific game only contains the Midgar portion of the original (albeit heavily expanded upon in a 40+ hour game). If you would like to play the original game on your Switch or Switch 2, however, it is available there (and on other platforms) digitally. If you want to play Remake, I would personally recommend getting it on PS5 since the next part, Rebirth, is on there and Part 3 will be on there once released. Switch 2 might only get Remake, Rebirth is more complex than this game so I doubt it’ll be on Switch 2.
