A: Hello DRG! The knobs on the cooktop FGGC3645QS are stainless steel. However, the finish on them is not dishwasher safe and we do not suggest soaking the knobs to clean them. Q: Can I light the burners with a match in case of a power outage?
A: Absolutely, the gas will work regardless of whether you have power. But use a Bic lighter like you would use to light a charcoal grill, so that your hand is far enough away from the burner when it lights. And don't turn on the gas until you have the lighter in your other hand ready to go - you don't want a ton of gas already around your stove when you go to light the burner!
